屈曲自在に、また、ガードプレートが遊動自在に、夫々
キャリッジに連結されていることによって、離間した前
後のキャリッジが上り勾配又は下り勾配の曲線経路上を
走行しても、連結杆およびガードプレートの夫々の両端
は、キャリッジ上の同一連結位置を中心にして屈曲傾動
することができるから、曲線部における連結杆とガード
プレートの弦の長さが略々等しくなり、ガードプレート
が連結杆の自在継手を介した屈曲傾動を制限又は拘束す
るおそれがなく、曲線経路の曲率半径の大小に拘らず、
円滑な曲線経路走行を可能にしている。また、連結杆の
両端がキャリッジの走行車輪取付位置より上方に取付け
られてガードプレートによって覆われているから、ガー
ドプレートは、前後のキャリッジ間の離間空間を全長に
亘ってキャリッジの走行軌道上を覆うことが可能とな
り、キャリッジのトレー上に載置されている物品の搬送
中における軌道内落下を防止して、キャリッジの安全な
