との間での変位可能に取り付けられるリテーナとを備え
てなり、前記リテーナ取付孔の開口における後縁部には凹部が設
けられ、 前後方向に長い治具の前端を前記凹部内に差し
込み前記リテーナに引っ掛けた状態でその治具を前記ハ
ウジングの側面へ接近させつつテコ作用により前記リテ
ーナを前記本係止位置から前記仮係止位置へ変位させる
ようにし、かつ前記ハウジングの側面には、幅方向にお
いて前記治具を両側から挟むように位置する一対のリブ
が突成されているコネクタであって、前記治具にて前記リテーナが前記本係止位置での係止を
解除され前記仮係止位置へ至るまでの間の解除操作のた
めの支点が、 前記凹部と前記ハウジングにおける前記リテーナ取付孔
が開口する側面とが連続する部分の縁と、 前記リテーナが前記本係止位置での係止が解除された後
で前記仮係止位置に至る前の状態のときに前記縁からの
移行先である前記ハウジングの後端縁とに設定されてい
ことを特徴とするコネクタ。
