Abstract

To provide a sheet for creating a bouquet that allows a user to freely create a bouquet to his/her liking using a simple method and that does not easily lose its shape over a long period of time.
[Solution] A sheet 1 for making a bouquet of flowers or a flower-like object is made of a flexible material (e.g., a PET material) having a substantially rectangular shape, and has flattened, substantially elliptical cutouts 2 formed near the center of the short side at substantially equal intervals in the horizontal direction of the long side. The sheet may have a fold line 3 formed on the lower end side of the short side in the horizontal direction of the long side for folding the long side to form a double portion when making the bouquet.

This invention relates to a sheet for creating bouquets of flowers or flower-like objects, a bouquet using the sheet, and a method for creating a bouquet.

Traditionally, bouquets of flowers or flower-like objects have been given as gifts to express congratulations or gratitude, and bouquets of various designs are known depending on the purpose of the gift, the recipient, or the situation.

In order to create bouquets of various designs, various efforts have been made with regard to packaging sheets for wrapping flowers or flower-like objects. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a flower packaging sheet that is characterized by being made by stacking a first sheet and a second sheet, with slits in the first sheet and/or the second sheet, and having a structure in which the top-bottom relationship of the first sheet and the second sheet can be switched via the slits.

In recent years, a type of bouquet known as a "wanhon bouquet" has also become known, characterized by its curved shape and wrapped in fabrics such as tweed or fur. A wanhon bouquet is a bouquet made primarily using objects that resemble flowers, and is used for birthdays and anniversaries, as well as for "oshikatsu," a way of supporting and admiring favorite idols and characters.

In view of the above, the present invention provides a sheet that allows bouquets to be made freely and simply to suit one's taste, and that makes the bouquet resistant to deformation over a long period of time, and also provides a bouquet and a method for making a bouquet using the sheet.

<Description of the configuration of sheet 1>
As shown in Fig. 1(A), the sheet 1 according to the present invention is for creating a bouquet 10 of flowers or a flower-like object, and is made of a flexible material with a substantially rectangular shape. In this embodiment, the sheet 1 is made of a PET material. Therefore, the sheet 1 has a water-resistant property. In addition, the bouquet 10 created using the sheet 1 is less likely to lose its shape due to transportation or aging, and is suitable for long-term storage.

In the sheet 1, near the center of the short side, flattened, approximately elliptical cutouts 2 are formed at approximately equal intervals in the horizontal direction of the long side. As shown in FIG. 1(A), the cutouts 2 have undulating portions that undulate slightly outwardly of the ellipse at the points corresponding to the short axes of the ellipse. As will be described later, as shown in FIG. 1(B), the sheet 1 is used by rolling it into a cylindrical shape and tying (squeezing) the points corresponding to the short axes of the cutouts 2 with a cable tie (see FIG. 5(A)). The undulating portions formed in the cutouts 2 make it easier to form neat bends when squeezed.

Furthermore, a fold line 3 (double ruled line) is provided horizontally along the lower end of the short side of the sheet 1 for folding the long side to form a double portion when creating the bouquet 10. When creating the bouquet 10, the long side is folded along the fold line 3 to form a double portion on the lower end side of the sheet. This provides the effect of stabilizing the shape of the bouquet 10 when the completed bouquet 10 is placed on a desk or the like, and preventing it from collapsing.

Next, a bouquet 10 using the sheet 1 and a method for making the bouquet will be described.

First, double-sided tape is applied along fold line 3 of sheet 1, below fold line 3 (Fig. 2(A)). Then, the long side is folded along fold line 3, forming a double layer at the bottom end of the sheet (Fig. 2(B)).

Next, the sheet 1 is overlapped with a piece of fabric 4, which has the same shape as the sheet 1 but whose long and short sides are slightly longer than those of the sheet 1 (Figs. 3(A) and (B)). The four corners of the fabric 4 are then cut at an angle of approximately 45 degrees to the fabric, and the long and short sides of the fabric 4, to which the double-sided tape is attached, are then folded toward the sheet 1, thereby bonding the sheet 1 and the fabric 4 together (Fig. 3(C)).

Next, the sheet 1 is rolled into a cylindrical shape, and the short sides of the fabric 4 are adhered together with a fabric adhesive (e.g., glue), so that the sheet 1 is fixed in the cylindrical shape (Figure 4 (A)).

A rolled cushioning material 5 (e.g., air bubble cushioning material) is placed inside the cylindrical sheet 1 (Fig. 4(B)). The size of the cushioning material 5 is suitable so that when placed inside the cylindrical sheet 1, the upper end of the cushioning material 5 reaches a position slightly higher than the undulating portion of the cutout portion 2.

Then, the position of the cylindrical sheet 1 corresponding to the undulating portion of the cutout portion 2 is tied (squeezed) with a cable tie, forming a constriction at that position (Fig. 5(A)). This fixes the cushioning material 5 contained inside the sheet 1 inside, and prevents or inhibits the cushioning material 5 from falling out from the bottom side.

Next, a flower or a flower-like object is placed on or in the cushioning material 5, thereby being contained within the sheet 1.

Here, the fabric 4 is decorated with accessories, ribbons, etc. to form a bouquet 10 that gives a gorgeous impression. In this embodiment, the upper end portion of the fabric 4 is decorated with accessories, and a ribbon is wrapped around the cable ties (Figure 5 (B)).

The seat configuration and bouquet creation method in this embodiment are merely examples, and the present invention is not limited to these embodiments. The seat configuration and bouquet creation method can be modified as appropriate without changing the gist of the present invention.

For example, the sheet does not need to have any fold lines. In this case, since there is no double portion formed at the bottom end of the sheet, the finished bouquet will be less stable when placed on a desk or the like than if there were fold lines.
