Abstract

Description

This invention relates to, for example, graduation albums distributed to children in kindergartens and nursery schools, or to students in elementary, junior high, and high schools.

Traditionally, albums are distributed to graduating students and graduates at the time of graduation.
This album is compiled for the purpose of allowing graduating students to look back on their memories of their time at the kindergarten after they graduate, and is distributed to each graduating student. The same applies to graduates (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

The type of printing paper is not particularly limited as long as it can print photographs, and it is preferable to use paper that beautifully expresses colors, specifically art post paper, matte coated paper, coated paper, etc. Furthermore, these printing papers can be made into one sheet of printing paper by pasting (facing together) two sheets of printing paper with a photograph printed on only one side with the opposite sides (unprinted sides) of the printed sides, or photographs can be printed on both sides of one printing paper.

The albums in FIGS. 2A and 2B are typically printed on one side of the paper and then pasted together with the unprinted sides of the paper together, and these are representative of the printing and binding specifications.

The individual page group is composed of a plurality of pages including a page with a photograph of a specific individual among a plurality of graduating students or graduates to whom the album is distributed, and a page with a photograph of a creation of the specific individual. Here, the photograph of the specific individual may be an individual photo album including a face photo, a full-body photo, or a snapshot, but a face photo and/or an individual photo album is preferable, and the creation of the specific individual is preferably one or more of a craft, a painting, a print, and a writing. This creation is produced by the specific individual at a school or the like, and this eliminates the need for, for example, a guardian or the like to take back the creation itself (see FIG. 1, FIG. 3(a) and (b)).

Photographs (image data) printed on printing paper can be, for example, photographs taken and prepared in advance by a photographer, photographs taken by teachers at kindergartens or nursery schools, or elementary, junior high or high schools, photographs taken by graduating students or parents of graduating students, etc., and preferably, photographs that have been processed in various ways by a photographer, teacher, parent, printing company that produces the album, etc. (See Figures 2(a) and (b), and Figures 3(a) and (b)).

The following describes in detail the embodiments of the graduation or yearbook of the present invention using the drawings, but the present invention is not limited to these embodiments.

As shown in Figures 1 to 3, the graduation album 10 according to one embodiment of the present invention includes multiple printed sheets 18 on which photographs 11 to 17 are printed. The multiple printed sheets 18 include a common page group 19 that contains photographs including the multiple graduating students to be featured, a page 20 that contains a photograph of a specific individual from among the multiple graduating students to be featured, and an individual page group 23 that includes pages 21 and 22 that contain photographs of the creative works of the specific individual.

The printing paper 18 includes a common page group 19 in which two sheets of printing paper with a photograph printed on only one side are pasted together with the opposite sides (unprinted sides) of the printed sides, and an individual page group 23 in which photographs are printed on both sides of the printing paper.
Here, since the individual page group 23 is arranged following the final page of the common page group 19, it is possible to improve the work efficiency (workability) at the printing company that produces the graduation album 10. As shown in Figures 3(a) and (b), the individual page group 23 contains face photographs 14 of specific individuals among all the graduating students to whom the albums are distributed, and photographs 15 to 17 of the specific individuals' creative works. For the photographs of these specific individuals, full-body photographs, individual photo albums (including snapshots) including photographs not included in the common page group 19 in Figures 2(a) and (b) can also be used.
Here, the creative works mentioned are crafts and paintings, but they can also be, for example, prints, writings, etc. In particular, for creative works that are three-dimensional or large in size, it is preferable to publish them on printed paper, as this eliminates the need for parents, etc. to consider securing storage space for the creative works and storage methods, etc.

The graduation album may also include components other than the printed paper with photographs described above.
For example, a molded sheet on which a predetermined design or the like is printed can be configured to stand up or fold in conjunction with the opening and closing of a specific page of the spread of the graduation album. This molded sheet can be made of, for example, a hard paper material and can be attached to a specific page of the spread in advance, but it can also be attached separately to the graduation album and pasted by the user of the graduation album, for example, the graduating students or their guardians, on the specific page of the spread themselves.

Specifically, this molded sheet is mountain-folded along a specific line, and the glue tabs extending from the bottom ends on both sides of the line are folded toward the back of the sheet, and then these glue tabs are attached across the specific page of the spread. This causes the attached molded sheet to stand up or fold in conjunction with the opening and closing of the specific page, so that when the sheet is open, it stands upright across both pages, and when the sheet is closed, the bend in the glue tab is forcibly released and the sheet is folded across the back of the sheet at the specific line, completely folding between the two pages.
