For example, if a styrofoam plate having a volume of seven times or more is adhered to an iron plate having a thickness of 5 mm, the iron plate does not sink. When this iron plate is placed on the top and floated on the water surface, it rotates 180 degrees, and the iron plate floats down. (Solution) Applying this principle to an actual ship, an appropriate amount of Styrofoam is filled in the cavity of the ship, and when the ship is submerged, the center of buoyancy of the ship is higher than the center of gravity of the ship. If designed to be on the top, the ship can sink into the vicinity of the deck and float above the bridge of the ship without sinking, even when submerged.
Description
[Detailed description of the invention] Generally, a steel plate ship sinks to the sea floor due to a capsize or damage accident. However, it is possible to design a ship that does not sink even with a steel plate ship. If, for example, a 5 mm thick steel plate is fitted with a water-resistant and lightweight plate of the same size, 35 mm, such as Styrofoam, the plate will not sink. If this principle is applied to shipbuilding, it is possible to build a floating ship without sinking even when flooded. The ship has a space between the living room and the outer skin, between the frames of the outer skin, the lower part of the ceiling, the inside of the side wall on the deck, etc., in which the Styrofoam, Designed to create a ship that does not sink even if it breaks by attaching or filling a buoyant body such as. In addition, the center of buoyancy at the time of inundation is designed to be above the center of gravity, so that it can be restored even if the ship rotates 180 degrees.
(Technical field to which the device belongs) Special shipbuilding (Conventional technology) Design that considers sinking of the ship as force majeure (Problem to be solved by the device) Having buoyancy that restores to the normal position without sinking in any case Remodeling the ship.
(Means for solving the problems) Styrofoam is inexpensive, very light, and still has great buoyancy. This feature was used to prevent the ship from sinking.
(Embodiment of the invention) As shown in Fig. 1, a buoyant body such as Styrofoam or urethane foam is attached to a part such as the inside of the outer plate of a ship. For a weight of 1 ton, one cubic meter or more is appropriately divided and attached to the upper part of the hull as much as possible, so that it has buoyancy that does not sink and has a restoring force.
(Example) On a stormy day, a four-seater yacht that was connected to a rocky shore was damaged, holes were drilled in four places, and the bottom of the ship and four air chambers were flooded, leaving only a part of the bow. And was submerged. Then, when a styrofoam plate was packed in the air chamber with a hole, it was possible to rise and operate with the hole still open.
(Effect of the invention) The effect of the styrofoam of the present invention to increase the buoyancy of a ship is of little use in normal operation, but when a ship is submerged, not only does it not sink due to its strong buoyancy, Its resilience allows the bridge to stay above the surface of the water and serve a lifesaving role for the crew. For large vessels, the probability of sinking is small. On the other hand, in the case of recreational boats and fishing boats, it is particularly important that worries such as high waves and the degree of danger are large and that they do not sink.
