ド、ピロクトンオーラミン、可溶化硫黄、ウンデシレン
酸などがある。しかしこのような成分はシャンプー薬剤
に配合すると抗菌性が著しく阻害されたり或いは着色や
着臭により配合量が限定されるなどのため、フケ防止効
果を十分に発揮させることができない。一方、殺菌剤や
抗菌剤を含む化粧料は皮膚刺激性の面から安全性に問題
がありフケやカユミを引き起こしたり、連日の使用によ
り皮膚常在菌の微妙なバランスをくずしてしまうといっ
た、いわゆるエコロジーの観点から、場合によっては好
ましくない事態を引き起こす可能性が指摘されている。
以上のことから、殺菌剤、抗菌剤を含ない頭髪化粧料で
フケ、カユミを阻止させることが最も好ましいとされて
きた。これまで、抗菌性や殺菌性に基づかず、しかもフ
ケ、カユミ抑止効果を有する物質として、α−トコフェ
ノール・ビタミンAエステル(特開昭51−73137号)、
ビタミンE・ニコチン酸エステル(ドイツ特許第230158
5号、同第2301660号)α−トコフェロール酢酸エステル
及びパントテニルエチルエーテル(特開昭58−3961
