りポリエステルフイルムを葉書側に置き去りにしてポリ
エチレン層から具合よく分離することができ、隠し情報
を透明なポリエステルフイルムを通して外部からみるこ

ものとして、出願人は、平成３年８月１７日に出願した
特願平３−２０９６１３号として、安価で簡易なシーク
レットシートを提供している。これは、被覆紙に、第１
接着剤層により貼付けた薄紙と、この薄紙に塗布した第
２粘着剤層とによって構成されており、情報記載面に第
２粘着剤層によりシークレットシールを貼付けて使用さ
れる。情報の読取りに当たって、被覆紙を剥がしたと
き、薄紙が層間剥離によって、すなわち、薄紙が、第１
接着剤層と第２粘着剤層とによって略半分の厚さに裂か
れ、書類に記載された情報が、半分の厚さになった薄紙
及び第２粘着剤層を介して透けて見え、その情報を読み
取ることができるというものである。しかしながら、こ
のシークレットシートにおいては、薄紙を通して情報を
読取るわけであるから、その鮮明度は薄紙が薄ければ薄
い程良くなる。しかし、そのような薄紙の紙質では、層
間剥離によって書類に残る薄紙の半部には第２粘着剤層
の粘着剤が幾分か染み出す傾向があり、べたつくなどの

護紙６を剥がしたシークレットシール１を貼り合わせた
様子を示している。シークレットシート１において、被
覆紙２のはぎ取りを容易にするために、例えば、図１及
び図２に示すように、被覆紙２に、その一方の縁に沿っ
て切り込み、即ち、スリット７を入れておくのが良い。
かくして、被覆紙２を書類１０から剥がそうとすると、
その剥離は薄紙４の層間剥離により起こることになる。
すなわち、薄紙４は、その一方の面が第１接着剤層３の
接着剤に直接接着結合し、他方の面は層８を介して第２
粘着剤層５の接着剤に接着結合しているために、被覆紙
と書類を互いに引き剥がそうとすると、その両方に略等
分ずつ引かれて層間剥離を起こす。薄紙が層間剥離によ
り２つの部分４ａ、４ｂに分離されると（図３参照）、
書類の情報１１は、半分の厚さになった薄紙の部分４
ｂ、層８及び第２粘着剤層５を介して透けて見え、その
情報を読み取ることができる。その際、薄紙の部分４ｂ
と第２粘着剤層５との間にはポリエチレンなどで作られ
た層８が存在するため、薄紙の性質にかかわらず、第２
粘着剤層５の接着剤が薄紙に染み出すことはなく、従っ
て、薄紙が剥離されたときに、隠し情報を有する書類が
汚れるのを避けることができる。この種のシークレット
シートでは、被覆紙を書類の上に貼り合わせた状態にお
いて、透かしても隠し情報を認識出来ないようにするこ
とが要請されるが、その対策の１つとして、被覆紙に塗
布される第１接着剤にアルミ粉を混入して光の透過を防
ぐようにすることが好ましい。また、別の例として、被
覆紙の第１接着剤層側に、予め、情報の隠蔽性を発揮す
る隠蔽模様を印刷してもよいし、或いは、アルミ蒸着を
