信部と、前記交換機に具備された予約手段にテレビ会議
の予約を申し込み、予約接続相手先に他の予約の無い旨
の応答を受けたときに当該予約通信日時と予約接続相手
先情報を記憶する予約日時記憶部と、時間を計時する時
計と、当該テレビ会議端末周辺の人の存在を検知する在
席検出部とを備え、 予約した通信開始時刻となったとき、前記在席検出部に
より自テレビ会議端末周辺の人の存在を確認したあと、
前記制御回線を介して前記交換機に発呼して予約してあ
る接続相手先の制御端末と接続し、更に接続相手先の制
御端末から相手テレビ会議端末周辺の人の存在を確認す
る情報を受信して自テレビ会議端末と相手テレビ会議端
