る略C字状の導体6の板が積層され、両端部にはこの導
体6の板が終端される端子9が複数植設されている。導
体6を端子9の接続端子部4に半田等で中芯穴2の囲り
に巻線を形成するように接続する。上述のベース1にコ
ア5を組み付けて、コイルを構成している。上述の如
く、従来のベース1では、平坦な上面の積層面11に積
み重ねた導体6の板と接続端子部4の接続は半田付けに
より行われるが、接続端子部4の周辺で導体6はベース
1と密着しており、図6に示すように、導体6の上面の
みに半田12のフィレット(冠状はち巻)が形成され
る。他方下面ではベース1と下側の導体6の間の隙間1

である。本考案のコイルに用いたベースは、図1に示す
ように、絶縁材料より成る長方形の平板状である。ベー
ス1の中央には、組み付けられるコアの中芯が挿入され
る中芯穴2が設けられている。本実施例では中芯穴2の
周囲に、導体とコア間の絶縁用突起10が設けられてい
る例で説明する。ベース1の両端には、端子9として、
基板実装時に用いられる実装端子部3と導体の板を接続
する凸字状の接続端子部4とがそれぞれ側面と上面に露
出するよう植設されている。凸字状の接続端子部4の下
部(台座部分13)の高さはベース1上面の導体の板が
積層される積層面11と同じか若干低くしてある。又凸
字状の上部は導体の端の接合用穴(図5の14参照)に
嵌合できる大きさで、下部の台座部分13の大きさは接
合用穴より大きく設計してある。図5で説明した従来の
薄型成層コイルの組立のように、端子9の植設されたベ
ース1上に導体の板を積層し、その端部の接合用穴を接
続端子部4に嵌め込み、この際端子9を順次1個づつず
らせ、複数の巻線を中芯穴2の回りに構成させて、所定
の枚数の導体を積み上げ、端子と接続して、図2に示す
ような所定の巻数のインダクタやトランス等を構成する
(本例では図2に示すように片側の端子両端で3ターン
のインダクタを形成)。導体6と端子9を電気的に確実
に接合するため半田仕上げをする。導体6は図3に示す
ように凸字状の端子9の台座部分13の高さだけベース
表面との間に隙間15が形成されるので、図4に示すよ
うに端子9の上下方向に半田12のフィレットが形成さ
れ、導体6と接続端子部4は十分な接続面積が確保され
る。本考案のベースを用いた場合、接続端子部が凸字状
を成しているので、導体の端部が若干変形しても凸字状
下部の台座部分の出張りにより最小の隙間が確保され、
常に上下両方向に正常なフィレットが形成されるよう半
田されるので、作業性がよく、しかも信頼性の優れたコ
イルが製造できた。
