る。[Prior Art] Conventionally, organic modified montmorillonite has been blended in a nail enamel, and the good thixotropy imparting property derived from this clay mineral has been used to prevent the sedimentation of pigments and pearlescent agents, and In this case, an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent such as toluene or xylene has been used as a solvent. An aromatic hydrocarbon solvent such as toluene swells the clay to build the best gel, and nail enamel containing such a gel exhibits relatively good dispersion stability and precipitates and separates over time. Since it does not occur, toluene and the like were considered to be indispensable as a solvent for this kind of nail enamel. In addition, there is an example in which hydrophobic silica is blended to further improve the dispersion stability and the stability over time (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. Sho 62-174003). However, since these use a gel composition in which toluene is essential, they are inevitably beautiful. Nail material also contains toluene. On the other hand, there is an example (Japanese Patent Publication No. 61-001044) in which a hydroxyl group-containing polar substance and a phenyl group-containing organic silicon compound are specifically blended as a gel composition for nail enamel that does not contain an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent such as toluene or xylene. The technology about safe nail polish has been established.

た。[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] Aromatic hydrocarbon solvents such as toluene and xylene have a problem of safety to the human body, and especially when a beautiful nail material is frequently used, there is a concern that the nail may be damaged or pained. It is known that there is. Further, Japanese Patent Publication No. 61-001044, which does not contain toluene, xylene, etc. at all, imparts thixotropy to the human body and is slightly good in dispersion stability and stability over time, but is further stable. There was room for improvement.

And a non-aromatic solvent as an essential ingredient. Conventionally used aromatic hydrocarbon solvents such as toluene and xylene, phenyl group-containing organic silicon, and the like are substances that swell the clay and impart thixotropy. However, the present invention does not use toluene, xylene, etc. at all, uses a non-aromatic solvent that is safe for the human body, imparts excellent thixotropy due to the interaction of organically modified montmorillonite and silica, and achieves a large object. .

As for example Benton (Benton 27 made by National Red,
Benton 34, Benton 38, etc.) can be used. These can be arbitrarily selected as needed, and one or two or more can be blended. The preferred blending amount of these components is 0.2 to 3.0% by weight, more preferably
0.8 to 2.0% by weight. If the amount is less than 0.2% by weight, good thixotropy cannot be obtained, and if the amount exceeds 3.0% by weight, the gloss and the aging of the coating film of the nail polish become poor.

Compared with the conventional one using an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent such as toluene or xylene, it is highly safe to the human body and causes less damage or pain to the nail, and is excellent in terms of aging. Further, compared with a nail varnish containing no aromatic hydrocarbon solvent such as toluene or xylene, the quality of the pearlescent agent is further excellent in terms of sedimentation of the pearlescent agent, stability over time, physical properties of the coating film, and usability.
