Abstract

Description

The present invention relates to an improved support structure for wall-mounted furniture. More specifically, it relates to a fall prevention structure for wall-mounted furniture that allows the hooks on the wall to be seen, improving the ease of installation, and allows the stoppers to be easily attached and detached, preventing the furniture from floating up and reliably preventing it from falling.

As is well known, storage furniture designs include not only floor-standing types, but also wall-mounted types that are supported by extending out from the wall (wall-mounted furniture).

Conventionally, a structure for supporting wall-mounted furniture has been disclosed in which hooks are fixed to the wall surface and the furniture is hung on these hooks (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Figures 1 to 10. The present invention provides a fall prevention structure for wall-mounted furniture that is supported while extending out to the side from a wall W. To construct the structure, a hook 2 with a claw 21 protruding vertically upward is first secured to the wall W by a fastener 22. In this embodiment, as shown in Figure 1, the hook 2 can be made by bending a metal plate to form the claw 21 as an integral part. This configuration allows the stopper 4 to be fitted into the through hole 11 of the back plate 1 in a biased state, making it difficult for the stopper 4 to come loose.

Furthermore, in this embodiment, an anti-slip portion 44 can be formed on the surface of the face portion 42 of the stopper 4, and this anti-slip portion 44 can be pressed against the inner surface of the through-hole 11 to prevent lateral displacement. The anti-slip portion 44 can be, for example, a protrusion or an adhesive sheet, but in this embodiment, a convex ridge can be formed in a direction perpendicular to the insertion/removal direction. While the present invention is generally configured as described above, it is in no way limited to the illustrated embodiment and various modifications are possible within the scope of the claims. For example, the shapes and materials used for the hook 2, latch 3, and stopper 4 can be modified as appropriate. They may also be molded as a single unit or constructed by joining separate components, and these modifications fall within the technical scope of the present invention.
