Abstract
Description
金属加工流体(metal working fluid、MWF)は、金属切削及び工具成形加工時に、潤滑のために使用される。これらの流体は、金属加工工具を冷却し、工具/ワークピース界面から切削屑を除去し、許容可能な機械加工後の仕上げ面を提供するのに役立つ。アミンは、それらの抗腐食、中和、及びpH調整の特性のために、様々な用途において広く使用されている一般的なMWFである。有機アミンは、通常、腐食防止剤として使用されるが、これは、MWFが、流体性能に悪影響を及ぼす微生物増殖のために経時的に分解され、微生物が流体中の活性成分を餌にするためである。
式中、R1は、C1~C6アルキル基、より好ましくは、C3~C4アルキル基であり、R2及びR3は、独立してCH3又はCH2-CH3であり、mは、0~6(又は好ましくは、0~2)である。
新規の開示された微生物増殖制御薬剤を試験するために、表1に示される希釈された金属加工流体を、表2に列挙された様々なエーテルアミンと混合する。第一に、250mLのガラスビーカを使用して、アミン成分を除く、表1の配合で100gの塩基性希釈金属加工油を調製し、透明な溶液を得るために撹拌する。第1の工程を繰り返して、8つの塩基性希釈金属加工流体溶液を得る。第ニに、比較例1~2及び実施例1~6として、表2からのあらゆる種類のアミン又はアミンの組み合わせを添加する。第三に、50gの比較例1~2及び実施例1~6を直径10cmの8枚のペトリ皿に入れ、0.5mlの混合微生物種菌を投与する。7日後にペトリ皿中の微生物増殖を測定し、混合微生物種菌を投与することを繰り返し、それらを5回測定する。1回目及び2回目の投与には、0.5mlの混合種菌が使用され、3回目及び4回目の投与では、1mlの混合種菌が使用され、5回目の投与では、3mlの混合種菌が使用される。MWF微生物種菌は、0.1mLの各細菌の一晩ブロス培養物及び1.0mLの各酵母ブロス培養物を、10mLのカビ懸濁液に添加し、配合することによって調製した。この実験において使用された微生物株は、以下の表3に列挙される(8つの細菌、2つのカビ、及び2つの真菌)。これらの株を、栄養ブロス中で別個に培養し、次いでそれらをともに配合した。次いで、混合した株を、各試験MWF及びアミン試料に注入し、十分に混合した。
Claims (9)
- 金属加工流体に好適な微生物増殖制御薬剤であって、以下の構造を有する少なくとも1つのグリコールエーテルアミンを含み、
式中、R1が、C1~C6アルキル基であり、R2が、CH3又はCH2-CH3であり、R3が、CH3又はCH2-CH3であり、mが、0~6である、微生物増殖制御剤。 - R1が、C3~C4アルキル基であるか、又はmが、0~2である、請求項1に記載の微生物増殖制御薬剤。
- 前記少なくとも1つのグリコールエーテルアミンが、グリコールエーテルアミンであり、2-ブトキシ-エタンアミン、1-メトキシ-2-プロパンアミン、1-ブトキシ-2-プロパンアミン、1-[1-メチル-2-(1-メチル-2-プロポキシエトキシ)エトキシ]-2-プロパンアミン1-(2-ブトキシ-1-メチルエトキシ)-2-プロパンアミン、1-(2-メトキシ-1-メチルエトキシ)-2-プロパンアミン、又は1-(1-メチル-2-プロポキシエトキシ)-2-プロパンアミンである、請求項1に記載の微生物増殖制御薬剤。
- 前記薬剤が、金属加工流体と組み合わされている、請求項1に記載の微生物増殖制御薬剤。
- 第2のグリコールエーテルアミンを更に含む、請求項1に記載の微生物増殖制御薬剤。
- 微生物制御薬剤の使用によって金属加工流体中の微生物増殖を制御する方法であって、前記微生物制御薬剤が、以下の構造を有する1つのグリコールエーテルアミンを含み、
式中、R1が、C1~C6アルキル基であり、R2が、CH3又はCH2-CH3であり、R3が、CH3又はCH2-CH3であり、mが、0~6である、方法。 - 少なくとも1つの他のグリコールエーテルアミンが使用される、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記方法が、金属加工流体中の微生物増殖を制御するために使用される、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記方法が、金属加工流体中の細菌、カビ、又は酵母を制御するために使用される、請求項6に記載の方法。
