Abstract
Description
本出願は、2021年2月18日付けで出願された米国仮出願整理番号第63/150,871号明細書、及び2020年8月27日付けで出願された米国仮出願第63/071,196号の優先権を主張する。これらの内容は全体的に参照することにより本明細書中に援用される。加えて、2020年8月31日付けで出願された米国仮出願第63/072,417号明細書の内容は全体的に参照することにより本明細書中に援用される。
本明細書中に使用される「液状薬物」という用語は、長時間作用型及び即効型インスリン、GLP-1、同時処方されたGLP-1と長時間作用型又は即効型インスリン、化学療法薬、鎮痛剤(例えばモルヒネ)、血圧の薬、ホルモン、メタドン、及び液状形態で投与されるべき任意の他の単剤又は薬物の組み合わせを含むように定義される。
Claims (35)
- 着用可能なマイクロドージング用薬物送達デバイスであって、
プロセッサと、
前記プロセッサによって実行するためのソフトウェアであって、前記ソフトウェアが、前記デバイスの着用者への液状薬物の基礎投与量の送達を管理するための基礎送達アルゴリズムを含む、ソフトウェアと、
前記デバイスを前記着用者とインターフェイス接続するためのカニューレと、
可聴アラート構成部分と、
視覚アラート構成部分と、
を含む、着用可能なマイクロドージング用薬物送達デバイス。 - 前記視覚アラート構成部分が多色LEDを含む、請求項1に記載の薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記ソフトウェアが、前記着用者内への前記カニューレの挿入を制御するように前記プロセッサを管理し、
前記カニューレの挿入には、前記可聴アラート構成部分を介した可聴表示が付随する、
請求項1に記載の薬物送達デバイス。 - 前記着用者内への前記カニューレの前記挿入が、前記デバイスが前記着用者の身体部位上に置かれた後で、前記ソフトウェアの制御下で自動的に行われる、請求項3に記載の薬物送達デバイス。
- リザーバと、
前記リザーバにカップリングされた充填ポートと、
をさらに含み、
前記液状薬物が前記充填ポートを介して前記リザーバ内へ導入され、
前記リザーバへの前記液状薬物の充填がタイマーを始動させ、
前記タイマーの終了が前記デバイスの前記着用者内への前記カニューレの挿入を自動的に開始する、
請求項3に記載の薬物送達デバイス。 - 前記デバイスが前記液状薬物を前記着用者へ送達するように動作可能であり且つ送達する用意ができているという視覚表示を、前記デバイスが前記視覚アラート構成部分を介して提供する、請求項2に記載の薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記視覚表示が、前記多色LEDからの連続又は点滅する緑色表示である、請求項6に記載の薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記プロセッサがエラー状態を検出し、
さらに前記デバイスが、前記視覚アラート構成部分を介して、前記エラー状態の視覚表示を提供する、請求項2に記載の薬物送達デバイス。 - 前記エラー状態の前記視覚表示が、前記多色LEDからの連続又は点滅する赤色又は琥珀色表示を含む、請求項8に記載の薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記エラー状態の前記視覚表示には、前記エラー状態の可聴表示が付随する、請求項9に記載の薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記エラー状態の前記可聴表示が、前記可聴アラート構成部分からの連続又は繰り返しのビープ音を含む、請求項10に記載の薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記着用者からのジェスチャの表示を提供するように前記プロセッサにカップリングされたジェスチャセンサをさらに含む、請求項2に記載の薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記着用者から受信された前記ジェスチャが、前記デバイスに動作を発揮させ、前記発揮される動作が、前記デバイスの目下の動作状況に依存する、請求項12に記載のデバイス。
- 前記デバイスの動作状況が、前記可聴アラート構成部分又は前記視覚アラート構成部分を介して前記着用者に表示される、請求項13に記載のデバイス。
- 前記ジェスチャセンサが、前記デバイスのハウジング上の前記着用者の指からのタップのパターンを含むジェスチャを検知し得る加速度計を含む、請求項12に記載の薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記発揮される動作が、前記カニューレの挿入である、請求項13に記載の薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記発揮される動作が、前記可聴アラート構成部分又は前記視覚アラート構成部分である、請求項13に記載の薬物送達デバイス。

- 前記デバイスが前記ステータスアプリケーションへの入力を介して前記デバイスの前記非アクティブ化を開始する、請求項20に記載の薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記液状薬物のための基礎送達速度が、前記ステータスアプリケーションへの入力を介して設定される、請求項20に記載の薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記基礎送達アルゴリズムが、事前プログラミング済み基礎速度に従って、前記液状薬物の基礎投与量を定量供給する、請求項1に記載の薬物送達デバイス。
- 着用可能な基礎薬物送達デバイスの着用者へステータス情報を提供し、
前記着用者からの入力を受信する方法であって、
可聴アラート構成部分を介して可聴表示を提供し、
視覚アラート構成部分を介して視覚表示を提供する、ことを含む、方法。 - 前記着用可能な基礎薬物送達デバイスを着用者にインターフェイス接続するカニューレの挿入を伴う可聴表示が提供される、請求項23に記載の方法。
- 前記着用可能な基礎薬物送達デバイスの目下の動作状況を表示する視覚表示が提供される、請求項23に記載の方法。
- 前記着用可能な基礎薬物送達デバイスの前記着用者からのジェスチャを、ジェスチャセンサを介して受信する、ことをさらに含み、
前記ジェスチャが前記着用可能な薬物送達デバイスのハウジング上をタップする、ことを含む、
