Claims (16)
- カソードと、アノードと、前記カソードに面するカソード流路と、前記アノードに面するアノード流路と、を具備する電解セルと、
第1の収容部と、第2の収容部と、前記第1の収容部と前記第2の収容部とを接続する開口と、を有し、前記第1の収容部および前記第2の収容部が少なくとも一つのイオンを含む液体を収容可能であり、前記第1の収容部に収容される前記液体の第1の液面の前記第2の収容部の下部に対する高さが前記第2の収容部に収容される前記液体の第2の液面の前記第2の収容部の下部に対する高さよりも高くなるように前記第1の液面と前記第2の液面との間で高低差を形成することにより、前記開口を介して前記第1の収容部から前記第2の収容部に前記液体に含まれるイオンを移動させるタンクと、
前記カソード流路の出口と、前記第1の収容部と、を接続する第1の流路と、
前記第2の収容部と、前記アノード流路の出口と、を接続する第2の流路と、
を具備する、電解装置。 - 前記タンクは、前記第1の収容部と前記第2の収容部との間に設けられるとともに前記開口を有する隔壁を有する、請求項1に記載の電解装置。
- 前記タンクは、前記開口を有する配管を有する、請求項1または請求項2に記載の電解装置。
- 前記タンクは、前記開口の途中にポンプを有していない、請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の電解装置。
- 前記第1の収容部の下部は、前記第2の収容部の下部よりも高い位置に設けられる、請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の電解装置。
- 前記カソードは、二酸化炭素を還元して炭素化合物を生成可能である、請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれか一項に記載の電解装置。
- 前記カソードは、窒素を還元してアンモニアを生成可能である、請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれか一項に記載の電解装置。
- 前記少なくとも一つのイオンは、カリウムイオンを含む、請求項1ないし請求項7のいずれか一項に記載の電解装置。
- 電解装置の駆動方法であって、
前記電解装置は、
カソードと、アノードと、前記カソードに面するカソード流路と、前記アノードに面するアノード流路と、を具備する電解セルと、
第1の収容部と、第2の収容部と、前記第1の収容部と前記第2の収容部とを接続する開口と、を有し、前記第1の収容部および前記第2の収容部が少なくとも一つのイオンを含む液体を収容可能であるタンクと、
前記カソード流路の出口と、前記第1の収容部と、を接続する第1の流路と、
前記第2の収容部と、前記アノード流路の入口と、を接続する第2の流路と、
を具備し、
前記方法は、
前記第1の収容部に収容される前記液体の第1の液面の前記第2の収容部の下部に対する高さが前記第2の収容部に収容される前記液体の第2の液面の前記第2の収容部の下部に対する高さよりも高くなるように前記第1の液面と前記第2の液面との間で高低差を形成することにより、前記開口を介して前記第1の収容部から前記第2の収容部に前記液体に含まれるイオンを移動させる、電解装置の駆動方法。 - 前記タンクは、前記第1の収容部と前記第2の収容部との間に設けられるとともに前記開口を有する隔壁を有する、請求項9に記載の駆動方法。
- 前記タンクは、前記開口を有する配管を有する、請求項9または請求項10に記載の駆動方法。
- 前記タンクは、前記開口の途中にポンプを有していない、請求項9ないし請求項11のいずれか一項に記載の駆動方法。
- 前記第1の収容部の下部は、前記第2の収容部の下部よりも高い位置に設けられる、請求項9ないし請求項12のいずれか一項に記載の電解装置。
- 前記カソードは、二酸化炭素を還元して炭素化合物を生成する、請求項9ないし請求項13のいずれか一項に記載の駆動方法。
- 前記カソードは、窒素を還元してアンモニアを生成する、請求項9ないし請求項13のいずれか一項に記載の駆動方法。
- 前記少なくとも一つのイオンは、カリウムイオンを含む、請求項9ないし請求項15のいずれか一項に記載の駆動方法。
