Claims (40)
- 車両上の危険状態を通知するためのシステムであって、
前記車両を巻き込む危険状態を示す前記車両からの電子信号を受信するように構成されたマイクロプロセッサと、
前記マイクロプロセッサと動作可能に通信している第1の無線送信機と
を備え、
危険事象を示す前記信号を受信したことに応答して、前記マイクロプロセッサが、前記第1の無線送信機を介して、前記車両が前記危険状態に巻き込まれたことを示す第1のワイヤレス信号を送信する、
システム。 - 前記車両に対応する位置データを前記マイクロプロセッサに提供する全地球測位システムユニットをさらに備え、前記第1のワイヤレス信号が前記位置データを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- パーソナル電子デバイスと動作可能に通信している第2の無線送信機をさらに備え、前記パーソナル電子デバイスが、前記第1のワイヤレス信号に含まれる位置データを前記マイクロプロセッサに提供する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記マイクロプロセッサと動作可能に通信している無線受信機
をさらに備え、
前記マイクロプロセッサが、前記無線受信機を介して別の車両の危険状態の指示を受信し、その旨の指示を前記車両内に提供する、
請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記マイクロプロセッサが、別の車両の前記危険状態の前記指示を前記車両内の別のシステムに電子的に提供する、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記マイクロプロセッサが、別の車両の前記危険状態の前記指示を前記車両の乗員に視覚的に提供する、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- ヘッドアップディスプレイをさらに備え、別の車両の前記危険状態の前記視覚的指示が、前記ヘッドアップディスプレイを使用して前記車両の乗員に提供される、請求項6に記載のシステム。

- 前記マイクロプロセッサが、別の車両の前記危険状態の前記指示を前記車両の乗員に関連付けられたパーソナル電子デバイスに提供する、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記マイクロプロセッサが、他の車両が危険状態にあることの指示を前記他の車両から検出し、前記第1の無線送信機を介して前記他の車両が前記危険状態にあることを示す第2のワイヤレス信号を送信するように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記他の車両からの前記指示が見通し内通信である、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記他の車両からの前記指示が、前記マイクロプロセッサに通信可能に結合された前向きセンサからの指示である、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記前向きセンサがカメラを備える、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 緊急車両安全システムであって、
前記車両を巻き込む危険状態の通知を受信するマイクロプロセッサと、
前記車両の外部から見ることができ、前記マイクロプロセッサに動作可能に結合された視覚インジケータと、
前記マイクロプロセッサと動作可能に結合された無線送信機と
を備え、
前記マイクロプロセッサが、前記車両を巻き込む危険状態の前記通知を受信すると、前記視覚インジケータ上に高視認性視覚信号を提供し、
前記マイクロプロセッサが、前記車両を巻き込む危険状態の前記通知を受信すると、前記無線送信機を介して第1の無線通信を提供する、
緊急車両安全システム。 - 前記無線送信機が、携帯電話タワーに前記第1の無線通信を提供する、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記無線送信機が、別の車両の受信機に前記第1の無線通信を提供する、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記無線送信機が、衛星システムに前記第1の無線通信を提供する、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記視覚インジケータが、ハザードランプまたは方向指示灯として動作可能な一組のライトを備える、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記高視認性視覚信号が、ハザードランプとして前記一組のライトを使用することに関連付けられたフラッシュ速度を上回り、方向指示灯として前記一組のライトを使用することに関連付けられたフラッシュ速度を上回るフラッシュ速度を有する信号を含む、請求項18に記載のシステム。
- 前記マイクロプロセッサは、前記視覚インジケータがハザードランプまたは方向指示器として使用されるときに、前記無線送信機を介して前記第1の無線信号を提供しない、請求項19に記載のシステム。
- 前記マイクロプロセッサが、前記車両内部のユーザ操作スイッチから、前記車両を巻き込む危険状態の通知を受信する、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記マイクロプロセッサが、車両安全サブシステムから、前記車両を巻き込む危険状態の通知を受信する、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記マイクロプロセッサが、パーソナル電子デバイスから、前記車両を巻き込む危険状態の通知を受信する、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記マイクロプロセッサが、全地球測位システムユニットから前記車両の位置データを受信し、前記第1の無線通信内で前記位置データを提供する、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記全地球測位システムユニットが、部分的にはパーソナル電子デバイスによって提供される、請求項24に記載のシステム。
- 危険な車両状態のリアルタイム指示を提供するためのシステムであって、
第1の車両の第1のマイクロプロセッサと通信しているサーバであって、前記第1のマイクロプロセッサは危険状態を示す前記第1の車両からの信号を受信するように動作可能である、サーバを備え、
前記サーバが、前記第1のマイクロプロセッサから前記危険状態の前記指示を受信し、第2の車両に前記指示を提供する、
システム。 - 前記第2の車両が、前記危険状態の前記指示を受信し、前記第2の車両の乗員に警告を提供する、前記サーバと通信している第2のマイクロプロセッサを備えている、請求項26に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1のマイクロプロセッサが、前記第1の車両に関連付けられた全地球測位システムと通信しており、そこからの位置データは危険状態を示す前記信号に含まれる、請求項26に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2の車両が、前記危険状態の前記指示を受信し、前記第1の車両が前記第2の車両の車道経路内に位置するときのみ前記第2の車両の乗員に警告を提供する、前記サーバと通信している第2のマイクロプロセッサを備えている、請求項28に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2の車両の前記乗員への前記警告が視覚的指示である、請求項29に記載のシステム。
- 前記視覚的指示がヘッドアップディスプレイ上に提供される、請求項30に記載のシステム。

- 前記第2の車両のオペレータが、前記第2の車両が前記第1の車両の前記位置に近づくにつれて減速するときに、前記高視認性外部視覚インジケータが作動する、請求項29に記載のシステム。
- 前記高視認性外部視覚インジケータが、前記第2の車両の後部にあるライトを閃光させるように作動する、請求項29に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2の車両が、前記危険状態の前記指示を受信し、前記第1の車両が前記第2の車両からしきい値距離内に位置するときのみ前記第2の車両の乗員に警告を提供する、前記サーバと通信している第2のマイクロプロセッサを備えている、請求項28に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2のマイクロプロセッサが、前記第2の車両が前記第1の車両を妨害するコース上にあるときに前記警告を提供するだけである、請求項36に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2の車両が、前記警告が提供されたときに作動する高視認性外部視覚インジケータを備えている、請求項36に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2の車両が、前記危険状態の前記指示を受信し、前記第1の車両が前記第2の車両の車道経路内かつしきい値距離内に位置するときのみ前記第2の車両の乗員に警告を提供する、前記サーバと通信している第2のマイクロプロセッサを備えている、請求項38に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2の車両が、前記警告が提供されたときに作動する高視認性外部視覚インジケータを備えている、請求項39に記載のシステム。
