Abstract
Description
このようなシールリングは、一般に周知である。シールリングは、その静的なシール座でもって、例えば軸の、シールされるべき第1の機械要素に相対回動不能に配置されていると共に、その2つの軸線方向シールリップでもって動的にシールするように、例えば半径方向に間隔をあけて軸を包囲しているケーシングの、シールされるべき第2の機械要素の半径方向に延びるシール面に当接してシールする。
本発明の根底を成す課題は、冒頭で述べた形式のシールリングを改良して、シールされるべき機械要素の高回転数においてシールリングが使用される場合でも、シールリングは長い使用期間中に良好な使用特性を有しているようにすることにある。このシールリングはさらに、低摩擦であることが望ましく、エネルギ効率良く作動し得る。
図1には、シールユニットが断面図で示されている。このシールユニットには、本発明によるシールリングが用いられている。シールリングは、2つの機械要素22,23を互いにシールしている。図示の実施例では、第1の機械要素22はシールされるべき軸により形成されており、第2の機械要素23はシールされるべきケーシングにより形成されている。
Claims (8)
- シールリングであって、
前記シールリングの半径方向(1)の内側に配置された静的なシール座(2)と、
該シール座(2)の半径方向(1)の外側に配置された2つのシールリップ(3,4)と
を有し、
前記シールリップ(3,4)は、軸線方向シールリップ(5,6)として形成されており、前記軸線方向シールリップのうちの1つ(5)は、半径方向内側の第1の軸線方向シールリップ(7)として形成されており、
前記軸線方向シールリップのうちの1つ(6)は、半径方向外側の第2の軸線方向シールリップ(8)として形成されており、
前記第2の軸線方向シールリップ(8)は、外周側で半径方向に間隔(9)をあけて前記第1の軸線方向シールリップ(7)を包囲しており、
前記第1の軸線方向シールリップ(7)は、半径方向(1)において前記第2の軸線方向シールリップ(8)よりも大きなフレキシビリティを有しており、
前記第2の軸線方向シールリップ(8)は、半径方向において前記第1の軸線方向シールリップ(7)とは反対の側の半径方向外側に、表面構造(10)であって、前記表面構造(10)に接する空気層(11)を渦動し、前記シールリングの周辺環境(13)からの汚染物質(12)を防ぐように、前記シールリングの所定の使用中において空力的にアクティブな表面構造(10)を有する、シールリング。 - 前記静的なシール座(2)と前記軸線方向シールリップ(7,8)とは、それぞれゴム弾性的なシール材料から成っている、請求項1記載のシールリング。
- 前記シール座(2)と前記軸線方向シールリップ(7,8)とは、互いに移行し合うように一体にかつ材料を統一されて形成されている、請求項1または2記載のシールリング。
- 前記シールリングは、高靱性材料から成る実質的にL字形の支持体(14)を有しており、前記支持体(14)は、ゴム弾性的なシール材料により少なくとも実質的に包囲されている、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載のシールリング。
- 前記支持体(14)は、前記静的なシール座(2)を半径方向において外周側で包囲する軸線方向脚部(15)を有している、請求項4記載のシールリング。
- 前記支持体(14)は、前記軸線方向シールリップ(7,8)が回動可能に結合された半径方向脚部(16)を有している、請求項4または5記載のシールリング。
- 前記第1の軸線方向シールリップ(7)は、その自由端部(17)とは反対の側に関節状の根元領域(18)を有しており、前記根元領域(18)は、横断面で見て先細に形成されている、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載のシールリング。
- 前記表面構造(10)は、周方向(21)に見て交互に形成された隆起部(19)と凹部(20)とを有している、請求項1記載のシールリング。
