- パワースカイビング工具(10)であって、
工具(10)の長手方向軸(14)に沿って延びるシャンク(12)と、シャンク(12)の前端部に配置された切削ヘッド(16)を備え、
切削ヘッド(16)は、円周方向に配置された複数の歯(18)を備え、これらの歯(18)の各々はシャンク(12)の反対側を向く切削ヘッド(16)の前端部に平坦なすくい面(20)を備え、
すくい面(20)は長手方向軸(14)に対して90°以外の角度で傾斜し、2つの隣接する歯(18)のすくい面(20)の間に移行面(22)が配置され、移行面(22)は切削ヘッド(18)の前端部にも配置され、2つの隣接する歯(18)のすくい面(20)に直接隣接し、
移行面(22)の全ての点において、表面法線(23)が2つの隣接する歯(18)のすくい面(20)と0°より大きい角度(β)を形成する、パワースカイビング工具(10)。 - 移行面(22)の全ての点における表面法線(23)は、2つの隣接する歯(18)のすくい面(20)と10°より大きい角度(β)を形成する、請求項1に記載のパワースカイビング工具。
- 移行面(22)は、少なくとも1つの凹面部(28)を備える、請求項1又は2に記載のパワースカイビング工具。
- 移行面(22)は、凸面部(30)を備える、請求項1乃至3の何れかに記載のパワースカイビング工具。
- 移行面は、平坦な表面部(32)を備える、請求項1乃至4の何れかに記載のパワースカイビング工具。
- 平坦な表面部(28)は、凹面部(28)に直接隣接している、請求項3又は5に記載のパワースカイビング工具。
- 平坦な表面部(32)は、凹面部(28)と凸面部(30)の間に配置されている、請求項3乃至5の何れかに記載のパワースカイビング工具。
- 凹面部(28)は隣接する2つの歯(18)の一方のすくい面(20)に隣接し、凸面部(30)は隣接する2つの歯(18)の他方のすくい面(20)に隣接する、請求項7に記載のパワースカイビング工具。
- 平坦な表面部(32)は、2つの隣接する歯(18)のすくい面(20)の1つに直接隣接する、請求項5又は6に記載のパワースカイビング工具。
- 移行面(22)は、凹面部(28)及び凸面部(30)を備え、
凹面部(28)は隣接する2つの歯(18)の一方のすくい面(20)に隣接し、凸面部(30)は隣接する2つの歯(18)の他方のすくい面(20)に隣接する、請求項1に記載のパワースカイビング工具。 - 凹面部(28)は凸面部(30)に直接結合する、請求項10に記載のパワースカイビング工具。
- 歯(18)は、鋭角で半径方向外向きに先細になっている、請求項1乃至11の何れかに記載のパワースカイビング工具。
- 各歯(18)は円周方向に配置された逃げ面(26)を含み、該逃げ面(26)は長手方向軸(14)に対して斜めを向いている、請求項1乃至12の何れかに記載のパワースカイビング工具。
- 切削ヘッド(16)は、シャンク(12)に取り外し可能に取り付けられる、請求項1乃至13の何れかに記載のパワースカイビング工具。
- シャンク(12)は鋼で作られ、切削ヘッド(16)の歯(18)は炭化物で作られている、請求項1乃至14の何れかに記載のパワースカイビング工具。
