Claims (12)
- 複数のバッテリーセルを内部空間に各々収納し、一方向へ連続して構造的に連結される複数の単位バッテリーモジュールと、
前記複数の単位バッテリーモジュールを覆うパックケースと、
を含み、
前記単位バッテリーモジュールは、両側面を形成するサイドプレートを備え、
いずれか一つの単位バッテリーモジュールと隣接する他の一つの単位バッテリーモジュールとは、前記サイドプレート同士が形合わせになって一つの共通壁体を形成することを特徴とするバッテリーパック。 - 前記サイドプレートは、前記単位バッテリーモジュールの右側面を形成する右側サイドプレート及び前記単位バッテリーモジュールの左側面を形成する左側サイドプレートを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記いずれか一つの単位バッテリーモジュールの右側サイドプレートが、隣接する他の一つの単位バッテリーモジュールの左側サイドプレートと形合わせになるように形成されたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記右側サイドプレート及び前記左側サイドプレートのうちいずれか一つには、嵌合突起が設けられ、他の一つには、前記嵌合突起と締まりばめになる嵌合溝が設けられることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記右側サイドプレートと前記左側サイドプレートとは、左右対称するように形成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記右側サイドプレートと左側サイドプレートとは、縦断面がL字形状であり、相互相対的に逆姿勢を取って前記単位バッテリーモジュールの高さよりも短く設けられ、前記単位バッテリーモジュールの下端面と前記右側サイドプレートの下端面との間と、前記単位バッテリーモジュールの上端面と前記左側サイドプレートの上端面との間には、各々段差が形成されたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記単位バッテリーモジュールが、各々前記内部空間の上部及び下部を各々覆う板状体の形態で設けられ、一側端部が折り曲げられて形成された段差部を備え、
前記右側サイドプレート及び前記左側サイドプレートを所定の高さに位置するように上下に支持する上部プレート及び下部プレートを含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 前記サイドプレートの形合わせ面がジグザグ形態で設けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記パックケースは、前記複数の単位バッテリーモジュールが装着される空間を提供するトレイを含み、
前記複数の単位バッテリーモジュールは、前記共通壁体と前記トレイとを連結する締結部材によって前記トレイの上にマウントされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 前記パックケースは、前記複数の単位バッテリーモジュールが装着される空間を提供し、前記空間を囲む壁体の周りに沿って予め指定された位置に前記壁体の内側面から突出して形成されるモジュール連結部を備えるトレイを含み、
前記単位バッテリーモジュールのサイドプレートは、前記単位バッテリーモジュールの前後方へ他の部分よりも突出して形成され、前記モジュール連結部と形合わせになる溝を内側に備え、前記モジュール連結部に上下方向へ嵌合可能に設けられたトレイ連結部を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 前記モジュール連結部は、突出方向を基準として延びた少なくとも一部の左右幅が他の部分よりも大きく拡張した形態を有するヘッド部を備え、
前記ヘッド部は、前記溝に上下方向に沿ってスライドすることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 請求項1から請求項11のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーパックを含む自動車。
