Claims (7)
- 接続された外部機器との間で、ガスを吸気又は排気する真空ポンプであって、
前記外部機器と前記真空ポンプとを接続する接続ポートは、前記真空ポンプに接続可能な非円形状の第1の開口と、前記外部機器に接続可能な円形状の第2の開口と、を備え、
前記ガスの流れ方向に対して垂直な方向において、前記第1の開口の径寸法が、前記第2の径寸法より小さく設定されていることを特徴とする真空ポンプ。 - 前記ガスの流れ方向に対して垂直な前記接続ポートの開口断面積は、前記第1の開口から前記第2の開口に亘って略同一に設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の真空ポンプ。
- 前記第1の開口は、オーバル状に形成されており、その短軸が前記真空ポンプのアキシャル方向と略一致するように設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の真空ポンプ。
- 前記接続ポートは、該接続ポートを加熱するヒータを挿入可能なヒータ取付部を備えていることを特徴とする請求項3記載の真空ポンプ。
- 前記ヒータ取付部は、筒状に形成された孔であり、その軸方向が前記第1の開口の長軸と一致するように設けられていることを特徴とする請求項4記載の真空ポンプ。
- 前記接続ポートは、アルミ合金で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から5の何れか1項記載の真空ポンプ。
- 真空ポンプ及び外部機器を接続し、内部にガスを流通させる接続ポートであって、
前記真空ポンプに接続可能で非円形状の第1の開口と、前記外部機器に接続可能な円形状の第2の開口と、を備え、
前記ガスの流れ方向に対して垂直な方向において、前記第1の開口の径寸法が、前記第2の径寸法より小さく設定されていることを特徴とする接続ポート。
