Description
The present invention relates to a flying pest repellent composition and a flying pest repellent containing the same.
Heretofore, there has been widely used a method of applying a repellent containing diet (N, N-diethyl-toluamide) to the skin surface against flying pests such as mosquitoes, flies and bush deer, but the diet is used with ordinary fragrant ingredients. By comparison, the spatial repelling effect can not be expected because the volatility is somewhat low.
Therefore, there have been some proposals to use volatile natural essential oils and components thereof as repellent components. For example, it is well known that citronella oil and its main component citronellal exhibit a repellent effect against mosquitoes, and in the United States, candles containing citronella oil as an active ingredient have been marketed. However, the method of dissipating citronellal using the heat of the candle has a low volatilization efficiency of citronellal and can not exhibit a practical repellent effect.
JP-A-2002-173407 (Patent Document 1) describes, in addition to citronella oil, a flying insect repellent containing a natural essential oil selected from orange oil, cassia oil, etc. as an active ingredient, and further, JP 2003-201203 (Patent Document 2) contains, as a pest repellent component (A), citronellal and one or more selected from terpineol, menthol, limonene, geraniol, citronellol, camphene, etc. There is disclosed a pest repellent volatilization composition in which the content of citronellal in the pest repellent component (A) is 2 to 10% by mass. Although these repellents give consideration to natural product orientation and safety, their repellent effect is not always satisfactory.
In addition, Patent No. 4743825 (patent document 3) discloses allyl hexanoate and / or allyl heptanoate as a mosquito, moth, and Yusrika repellent component which is useful together with it and citronellal, citronellol, citral, linalool Although the mixture with and the like is described, it does not necessarily refer to the combination of repellent components and their compounding ratio which are optimal when applied to a flying pest repellent.
The present invention comprises a flying pest repellent composition which contains several specific flying pest repellent components and exhibits a significantly superior repellent effect than conventional ones by specifying their blending ratio, and a composition thereof To provide a flying pest repellent.

Here, examples of the allyl ester compound of a fatty acid having 5 to 10 carbon atoms include allyl hexanoate, allyl heptanoate, allyl octanoate, allyl cyclohexyl acetate, allyl cyclohexyl propionate, allyl isobutyl oxyacetate, allyl Examples include n-amyloxy acetate, allyl cyclohexyloxy acetate and allyl phenoxy acetate.
The above-mentioned linalool, terpineol and allyl ester compounds of fatty acids having 5 to 10 carbon atoms are already known as flying pest repellent components, but their synergistic effect is remarkable when the 3 types of repellent components are combined in a specific composition ratio It was not known to show. However, the present inventors have extracted arbitrary combinations from a large number of flying pest repellent component groups including these three types of repellent components, and as a result of repeatedly conducting biological tests while carefully examining their blending ratios, It has been found that the composition of the present invention exhibits a remarkable flying pest repellent effect.
That is, in the present invention, the blending ratio [(a) / (b)] of the total amount of (a) linalool and terpineol to (b) the fatty acid having 5 to 10 carbon atoms [(a) / (b)] is 0.3-5. It is necessary to specify in the range of 0, and if it falls outside this range, sufficient flight pest repellent effect can not be obtained even if three kinds of repellent components are combined.

For example, an insecticidal component, a deodorizing component, a disinfectant / antibacterial component Etc. Examples of the insecticidal component include empentrin at normal temperature volatilization pyrethroids, transfluthrin, metfluthrin, profluthrin and the like, but in the case of blending, it is preferable to keep as little as possible. As the deodorizing component, a plant extract selected from grasses, camellias, ginkgo, moths, crucifers, mulberry, oranges, quintolanaceae, kakinoki, etc. is representative. In addition, it is also possible to impart a relaxing effect by adding green leaf alcohol, green leaf aldehyde or the like called "green scent". These functional components may be used alone or in any combination.
The flying pest repellent composition (composition containing a flying pest repellent component and other functional components) of the present invention may be used alone, but various components are usually added to meet the needs of the use scene. It is prepared into various forms of flying pest repellents such as liquid, gel, solid, and sheet. Among them, the aqueous liquid type or the aqueous gel bead type is a preferable form because the flying pest repellent effect is more appropriately exhibited.
For example, in the case of an aqueous liquid type repellent, a surfactant, an organic solvent, water and the like are compounded and manufactured, but the blending ratio of the flying pest repellent composition is 1.0 to 7 with the total amount of the repellent being 100 parts. It is preferable to set to about 0 parts. If it is less than 1.0 part, the repellent effect is not sufficient, while if it exceeds 7.0 part, the odor becomes too strong and it is not practical.
The aqueous gel bead type is composed of the flying pest repellent composition, a surfactant, water, a water absorbing polymer, etc. The mixing ratio of the flying pest repellent composition is 100 parts of the total amount of repellent as in the aqueous liquid type. The appropriate amount is about 1.0 to 7.0 parts.
On the other hand, the flying pest repellent agent in the form of solid, sheet, etc. is prepared by appropriately blending the flying pest repellent composition of the present invention with auxiliary components such as a surfactant and an organic solvent to prepare an impregnating solution. It can be made to impregnate a support | carrier. Such carriers include cellulose carriers such as pulp, linters and rayon, inorganic porous carriers such as silicates, silica and zeolite, sublimation carriers such as trioxane and adamantane, silicone rubber, silicone resin, thermoplastic elastomer And the like.
As the surfactant used in the present invention, higher alkylamine oxide surfactants and nonionic surfactants are preferable in terms of the stability and the radiation property of the flying pest repellent composition. Examples of higher alkylamine oxide surfactants include laurylamine oxide, stearylamine oxide, lauric acid amidopropyldimethylamine oxide and the like, while non-ionic surfactants such as polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil, Examples thereof include polyoxyethylene higher alkyl ether (polyoxyethylene lauryl ether, polyoxyethylene oleyl ether), polyoxyethylene higher fatty acid ester, polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene alkyl ether and the like.
The blending amount of the surfactant is suitably about 0.5 to 4 times that of the flying pest repellent composition.
Further, as the organic solvent, lower alcohols such as ethanol and isopropanol, glycols such as propylene glycol, glycol ether water-soluble organic solvents such as diethylene glycol monobutyl ether, dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether, carbonization such as normal paraffin and isoparaffin Hydrogen solvents and the like are suitably used.
The gel-like flying insect repellent agent is not limited to the aqueous bead type described above, and may be an oil type, and various gelling agents such as water-absorbing polymers (acrylic acid based, maleic acid based, polyalkylene oxide cross-linked products) Etc.), carrageenan, xanthan gum, gellan gum, gelatin, aluminum octylate, 12-hydroxystearic acid and the like are suitably used.
In addition to the various auxiliary components described above, stabilizers such as BHT, preservatives such as isothiazoline, bitters such as Vitorex, pH adjusters, dispersants, colorants, etc. Of course.
Next, an aqueous liquid type and an aqueous gel bead type, which are preferred embodiments of the flying pest repellent agent of the present invention, will be described in detail.
The aqueous liquid type contains 1.0 to 7.0 parts of a flying pest repellent composition, 3.0 to 12 parts of a surfactant, 2.0 to 10 parts of a lower alcohol and an appropriate amount of water, and the whole is 100 Prepared as a part. The obtained aqueous formulation solution is led to the evaporation part of the liquid absorbent material through the liquid absorbent core, a system which radiates flying pest repellent components into space, a so-called stationary system, a spray system, or a propellant (liquefied petroleum gas or The present invention is suitably applied to an aerosol type repellent with filling with dimethyl ether and the like.
Here, if the blending amount of the surfactant is less than 3.0 parts, solubilization of the flying pest repellent component is poor, and if it exceeds 12 parts, there is a possibility that the radiation property of the flying pest repellent component may be affected.
On the other hand, when the lower alcohol content is less than 2.0 parts, the compatibility with the higher alkylamine oxide surfactant is particularly poor, while when it exceeds 10 parts, the risk to fire increases and the Fire Service Law There are cases where it does not correspond to non-hazardous materials.
In the stationary type repellent agent, the above-mentioned aqueous formulation liquid is filled in a container body having a liquid absorbent core. Here, the container body is not particularly limited in its material and structure, and examples thereof include plastic, glass, and pottery. It is preferable to use a transparent or translucent plastic or glass container in which the amount of liquid inside can be visually recognized, and the surface may be processed into a diacut or a bohemian cut. Usually, a volume of about 100 to 400 mL is practical as the volume of the container body. The bottom of the container body may have a slightly concave contact portion of the liquid wick as described later so that the liquid can be sucked up without remaining.
At the opening of the upper portion of the container body, a stopper for holding the liquid absorption core is crowned. The inner plug is preferably made of plastic, and it is more preferable to form the cylindrical plug downward from the opening crown position and insert the liquid absorbent core, since the liquid absorbent core can be reliably held.
The absorbent core is stable to the aqueous formulation and absorbs the liquid via capillary action, and specific materials include, for example, plastic fibers such as nylon and polyester, natural fibers, wood, etc. . Among them, a felt absorbent core made of plastic fiber or natural fiber is easy to use and is formed into a rod-like or twisted core shape with an outer diameter of about 3 to 10 mm and used.
Usually, an evaporation section for dissipating the absorbed aqueous formulation liquid is provided on the upper portion of the absorbent core. The structure of the evaporation section is felt or sheet-like, and as its material, plastic fibers such as nylon and polyester, natural fibers, wood and the like can be used as in the case of the absorbent core. Among them, felt or sheet made of plastic fiber or natural fiber is preferable, and it is molded into a substantially circular or rectangular shape with a thickness of 2 to 15 mm and a surface area of 10 to 60 cm 2 , and this is formed on the top surface of the liquid absorption core If arranged so as to abut, the sucked up aqueous formulation moves from the liquid absorption core to the evaporation part and gradually dissipates into the air from here. If the surface area of the evaporation portion is less than 10 cm 2 , the amount of evaporation tends to be low, while if it exceeds 60 cm 2 , the amount of evaporation may be excessive, which may cause a problem in sustainability. Usually, the amount of evaporation of the aqueous formulation into the air per day is 1 to 6 mL, and the effective duration is adjusted to about 60 to 200 days.
In addition, it is general to provide an evaporation unit support or to provide a mesh-like lid member for covering the evaporation unit so that the evaporation unit is not touched by a finger or the like.
Furthermore, a fabric or plastic artificial flower may be loaded through the evaporator support in order to impart interior properties.
On the other hand, in order to produce an aqueous gel bead type repellent agent, it is general to prepare an impregnating solution containing a flying insect repellent composition, a surfactant and water, and mix it with a water absorbing polymer. Here, as the ratio of each compounding component, for example, 1.0 to 7.0 parts of a flying pest repellent composition, 0.5 to 10 parts of a surfactant and an impregnating solution containing an appropriate amount of water, and the like It is preferable that the water-absorbing polymer to be blended to be about 1.0 to 5.0 parts.
In addition, although it is preferable to set the compounding quantity of surfactant to about 0.5 to 4 times with respect to a flying pest repellent composition, there is a fear that the anionic surfactant may reduce the water absorbency of the water absorbing polymer. Note that there are.
In the present invention, an acrylic water absorbent polymer is suitably used as the water absorbent polymer. The acrylic acid-based water-absorbing polymer is excellent in water absorption and has a property of absorbing 100 times or more of its own weight of water. If it has a particle size of about 2 mm, it expands to a bead having a particle size of about 10 mm, which is almost transparent after water absorption, so it is suitable for use. Acrylic acid-based water-absorbing polymers include acrylic acid / acrylate copolymers (acrylic acid / acrylic acid sodium salt copolymer, acrylic acid / acrylic acid potassium salt copolymer, etc.), acrylamide / acrylic acid or salts thereof The copolymer of The former is preferable from the viewpoint of gel stability, and the compounding amount of the water absorbing polymer is about 0.01 to 0.1 times that of the impregnating solution is sufficient.
The flying insect repellent agent can be prepared according to a conventional method even when it is in solid form or sheet form, and a form suitable for the purpose of use and use scene (repellant impregnated sheet for fan type insect repellent equipment, silicone rubber The present invention can be applied to insect repellent rings, non-woven insect repellent seals, etc.) to efficiently dissipate flying pest repellent components into space.
The flying pest repellent of the present invention thus obtained can be used in living rooms, Japanese-style rooms, rooms such as entrances, warehouses, restaurants, camps, etc. mosquitoes such as Culex pipiens, Culex pipiens, Helicidae, flies, flies and butterflies It has a practical repellent effect on flying pests such as species and moths. And, according to the flying pest repellent agent of the present invention, since it is possible to enjoy the repellent effect at the same time as the practical repellent effect over a long period of about 60 days to 200 days, its practicability is extremely high.
Next, based on specific examples, the flying pest repellent composition of the present invention, and the flying pest repellent containing the same will be described in more detail.
(A) linalool 18% by mass, terpineol 22% by mass, (b) allyl hexanoate 7.0% by mass, allylheptanoate 13% by mass, and other flight insect repellents A flying pest repellent composition of the present invention containing 40% by mass of the components (anisyl acetate, 1,8-cineole, borneol, etc.) was prepared. The [(a) / (b)] ratio in this composition was 2.0.
To 2.0 parts of this flying pest repellent composition, 1.2 parts of laurylamine oxide, 1.4 parts of polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil, 3.5 parts of polyoxyethylene lauryl ether, and 7.0 parts of ethanol Then, 1.0 part of green tea extract component as a deodorant, 0.02 parts of citric acid, and an appropriate amount of purified water were blended to prepare 100 parts of the whole, thereby preparing an aqueous formulation used in the present invention. In addition, this aqueous prescription liquid corresponded to the non-hazardous substance under the Fire Service Act.
400 g of the aqueous formulation liquid was filled in a transparent polyester container main body, and an inner stopper having an outer diameter of 9 mm and having a rod-like felt-made liquid absorbent core inserted therein was crowned on the upper opening. Evaporation part support 10 mm thick, surface area 42 cm 2 rectangular felt evaporation part installed on the support of the evaporation part in contact with the top surface of the liquid absorbent core Invention 1] was produced.
When this repellent was placed on the side board of the living room and used, it was possible to enjoy the aroma for about six months, and was not bothered by flying pests such as mosquitoes.
×100
Various flying pest repellent compositions shown in Table 1 were prepared according to Example 1 (propylene glycol as a solvent was blended, if necessary). Next, based on the same procedure as in Example 1, a surfactant, ethanol, water and the like were added to 1.0 part of this repellent composition to form an aqueous formulation solution. Here, the reason why the compounding ratio of the repellent composition was changed from 2.0 parts to 1.0 part is because the repellent efficacy difference of various test flying insect repellent agents was intended to be clear in the repellent efficacy test. . 400 g of the aqueous formulation liquid was filled in a container body of the same specification as that of Example 1, and the following repellence test was carried out on the obtained standing flying insect repellent [Inventions 2 to 6 and Comparative Examples 1 to 8]. did. The results are shown in Table 1 together.
[Repellent efficacy test]
A mouse (blood-sucking source) fixed by wire mesh and a test insect pest repellent were placed in the center of a sealed 6-mat room. Fifty adult adult female house mosquitoes were released, and after 3 hours, the test insects were collected, the number of blood-sucking insects was counted, and the blood-sucking rate was determined (treatment section). At the same time, the same test was carried out without setting a flying pest repellent in a room of the same size (control section), and from the blood feeding rate, the repellent rate (blood feeding blocking rate) was calculated according to the following equation. The test was repeated three times.
Repulsion rate (%) = [Sucking rate of control group-Sucking rate of treated group] / Sucking rate of control section x 100
As a result of the test, the flying pest repellent agent of the present invention [Invention 2 to 6], ie, containing at least linalool, terpineol and an allyl ester compound of fatty acid having 5 to 10 carbon atoms as a flying pest repellent component; (A) A flight in which the compounding ratio [(a) / (b)] of the total amount of linalool and terpineol to the allyl ester compound of fatty acid having 5 to 10 carbon atoms (b) is in the range of 0.3 to 5.0 An aqueous liquid-type flying pest repellent containing a pest repellent composition exhibits a remarkably excellent repellent effect against flying pests, and all of them are low in risk to fire and excellent in usability. The
On the other hand, as shown in Comparative Examples 1 to 8, it does not contain any of linalool, terpineol and allyl ester compounds of fatty acids having 5 to 10 carbon atoms, or contains 3 kinds of repellent components. When the blending ratio [(a) / (b)] deviates from the range of 0.3 to 5.0, the repelling effect is low.
For example, although it can be said that the invention 2 combines the comparative example 1 and the comparative example 6, the repelling rate 100% of the invention 2 is a phase having a repelling rate of 53% of the comparative example 1 and a repelling rate 21% of the comparative example 6. Much more than additive efficacy 74%. The same evaluation was also observed in the case where invention 2 and [comparative example 2 + comparative example 7], and invention 2 and [comparative example 3 + comparative example 8] were compared. Therefore, it is clear that the flying pest repellent agent of the present invention is based on the optimum combination of repellent components as well as synergy based on their blending ratio.
(A) linalool 18% by mass and terpineol 25% by mass, (b) allyl octanoate 13% by mass and allyl isobutyl oxyacetate 9.5% by mass as other flying insect repellent components A flying pest repellent composition of the present invention containing 18.9% by mass (cinnamic alcohol, β-pinene etc.) and 15.6% by mass of propylene glycol as a solvent was prepared. The [(a) / (b)] ratio in this composition was 1.9.
Into 2.0 parts of this flying pest repellent composition, 1.6 parts of laurylamine oxide, 1.0 parts of polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil, 4.0 parts of ethanol, and 0 green tea extractables as a deodorant .1 part, 0.2 part of BHT as a stabilizer, a trace amount of isothiazoline based preservative, a trace amount of bitter taste agent, and an appropriate amount of water were mixed to prepare an impregnating solution used in the present invention with 100 parts as a whole.
In a cylindrical plastic container (φ: 8 cm, height: 10 cm) having an opening with a total area of 24 cm 2 on the top and having a volume of 500 mL, acrylic acid / acrylic acid with a particle size of about 2 mm as a water absorbing polymer 12 g of sodium salt copolymer was added. When 388 g of the above-mentioned impregnation liquid was poured into this, the water-absorbing polymer was expanded, and the particle size was about 10 mm to obtain an aqueous gel bead type flying insect repellent agent of the present invention [Invention 7].
When this repellent was placed on the shelf of the entrance and used, it was confirmed that the repellent was effective for about 200 days without being disturbed by flying pests such as mosquitoes and flies. The aqueous gel beads gradually decreased with the passage of time, but the gel stability was excellent without deterioration or syneresis, and the end point of use was clearly visible. In addition, the surrounding space of the entrance has an incense initial scent, which can provide a comfortable freshness to the surroundings, which is extremely practical.
The flying pest repellent composition in Example 3 was prepared as shown in Table 2, and various aqueous gel bead type flying pest repellents were prepared (as in Example 2, the blending ratio of the flying pest repellent composition) Was changed from 2.0 to 1.0). The same repellent efficacy test as in Example 2 was carried out to evaluate the repellent effect of the test repellent. The results are shown together in Table 2.
As a result of the test, the flying pest repellent agent of the present invention [Invention 8 to 12], ie, containing at least linalool, terpineol and an allyl ester compound of fatty acid having 5 to 10 carbon atoms as a flying pest repellent component; (A) A flight in which the compounding ratio [(a) / (b)] of the total amount of linalool and terpineol to the allyl ester compound of fatty acid having 5 to 10 carbon atoms (b) is in the range of 0.3 to 5.0 The aqueous gel bead type flying pest repellent containing the pest repellent composition exhibits a remarkably excellent repellent effect against flying pests, and all of them are low in risk to fire and excellent in usability. The
On the other hand, as shown in Comparative Examples 9 to 16, it does not contain any of linalool, terpineol and allyl ester compounds of fatty acids having 5 to 10 carbon atoms, or contains 3 kinds of repellent components. When the blending ratio [(a) / (b)] deviates from the range of 0.3 to 5.0, the repelling effect is low.
For example, it can be said that Invention 8 combines Comparative Example 9 and Comparative Example 14. However, the 98% repulsion ratio of Invention 8 is 56% repulsion ratio of Comparative Example 9 and 20% repulsion ratio of Comparative Example 14 Much more than additive efficacy 76%. The same evaluation was also observed in the case where the present invention 8 and [comparative example 10 + comparative example 15], and the present invention 8 and [comparative example 11 + comparative example 16] were compared. Therefore, it is clear that the aqueous gel bead type of the present invention as well as the aqueous liquid type flying pest repellent is based on the optimum combination of repellent components and the synergy based on their blending ratio.
The flying pest repellent composition of the present invention and the flying pest repellent containing the same can be used not only for flying pests but also for the purpose of a wide range of pest repellents.
