Claims (11)
- 電極組立体、前記電極組立体を収容するケース、及び前記電極組立体と連結されて前記ケースの外部に露出する正極リード及び負極リードを含む電極リードを有する複数のバッテリーセル;並びに
前記複数のバッテリーセルを電気的に連結させる連結部材;を含み、
前記複数のバッテリーセルは、第1方向に並んで配置される第1バッテリーグループ、及び前記第1バッテリーグループと前記電極リードが相互対向するように位置して、前記第1方向に並んで配置される第2バッテリーグループを含み、
前記連結部材は、前記第1バッテリーグループと前記第2バッテリーグループとの間に位置し、
前記複数のバッテリーセルの前記電極リードは、前記連結部材にそれぞれ連結され、
前記第1バッテリーグループのいずれか1つのバッテリーセルの電極リードは、前記連結部材の上面または下面の一方と接触し、
前記いずれか1つのバッテリーセルと対向して位置する前記第2バッテリーグループのバッテリーセルの電極リードは、前記連結部材の上面または下面の他方と接触するバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記バッテリーセルは、前記電極組立体が収納される収納部及び前記収納部をシーリングするシーリング部を含み、
前記連結部材と前記電極リードとは溶接によって結合し、
前記連結部材と前記電極リードとの溶接位置は前記シーリング部に対向する領域内に位置する請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記いずれか1つのバッテリーセルの電極リードと前記連結部材との溶接位置は、前記他の1つのバッテリーセルのシーリング部に対向する領域内に位置する請求項2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記他の1つのバッテリーセルの電極リードと前記連結部材との溶接位置は、前記いずれか1つのバッテリーセルのシーリング部に対向する領域内に位置する請求項3に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記ケースは、周縁部が相互シーリングされた上部パウチ及び下部パウチを含み、前記電極組立体が収納される収納空間は上部パウチまたは下部パウチの一方のみに形成され、
前記連結部材を通じて相互連結されたバッテリーセルは相異なるパウチに前記収納空間が形成される請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記バッテリーセルの前記正極リード及び前記負極リードは前記ケースの同一側面に露出し、前記いずれか1つのバッテリーセルの正極リード及び負極リードは前記他の1つのバッテリーセルの正極リード及び負極リードと少なくとも表面の一部領域が前記連結部材を中心に対向するように位置する請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記連結部材のうち、上部からみたとき、前記第1方向に垂直な第2方向の両端部が、前記連結部材を通じて相互連結された両バッテリーセルの収納部とそれぞれ所定距離離隔して形成される請求項2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記連結部材の下面のうち少なくとも一部は前記いずれか1つのバッテリーセルのシーリング部の一面と接触し、前記連結部材の上面のうち少なくとも一部は前記他の1つのバッテリーセルのシーリング部の一面と接触する請求項2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記バッテリーモジュールは、内部空間を有し、前記内部空間に前記第1バッテリーグループ、前記第2バッテリーグループ及び前記連結部材が位置するセルフレームをさらに含む請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 請求項1〜請求項9のいずれか1項に記載のバッテリーモジュールを含むバッテリーパック。
- 請求項10に記載のバッテリーパックを含む自動車。
