Abstract
Description
(a)(A’)アミン系摩擦調整剤及びアミド系摩擦調整剤からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種を、潤滑油組成物全体の質量に対して0.1質量%未満である量でさらに含む、又はいずれも含まない、前記潤滑油組成物。
(b)上記(A)成分の量が、モリブデン量として潤滑油組成物全体の質量に対して400〜1300質量ppmであり、及び、上記(B)成分の量が、リン量として潤滑油組成物全体の質量に対して200〜1000質量ppmである、前記潤滑油組成物。
(c)ダイヤモンドライクカーボン(DLC)膜の潤滑用である、潤滑油組成物。
(d)相対移動し得る対向した摺動面を有する一対の摺動部材であり、少なくとも1の摺動面がダイヤモンドライクカーボン(DLC)膜で被覆された面からなる前記摺動部材において、該対向する摺動面の潤滑用である、潤滑油組成物。
(e)DLCがホウ素を有する、前記(c)又は(d)の潤滑油組成物。
(f)150℃での高温高せん断粘度(HTHS粘度)1.4〜2.9mPa・sを有する前記潤滑油組成物。
(g)100℃における動粘度9.3mm2/s以下を有する前記潤滑油組成物。
(h)内燃機関用である前記潤滑油組成物。
潤滑油基油は従来公知のものを使用でき、鉱油、合成油、あるいはこれらの混合油であってよい。鉱油系基油としては、原油を常圧蒸留及び減圧蒸留して得られた潤滑油留分を、溶剤脱れき、溶剤抽出、水素化分解、溶剤脱ろう、接触脱ろう、水素化精製、硫酸洗浄、白土処理等の精製処理等を適宜組み合わせて精製した、パラフィン系、ナフテン系等の潤滑油基油や、溶剤脱ロウで得たワックスを異性化、脱ろうして得られる潤滑油基油が挙げられる。該鉱油系基油の100℃での動粘度は特に制限されるものでないが、低粘度を有する潤滑油組成物を得るためには、1〜6mm2/sであるのが好ましく、より好ましくは2〜6mm2/sである。
本発明は、潤滑油組成物が、モリブデンジアルキルジチオフォスフェート(MoDTP)を必須に含有することを特徴とする。MoDTPは例えば下記(1)で表される化合物である。
本発明の潤滑油組成物は、上記以外にアミド系摩擦調整剤及びアミン系摩擦調整剤から選ばれる少なくとも1種を特定量未満でさらに含んでも良く、又はこれらのいずれも全く含まないものでも良い。アミド系摩擦調整剤又はアミン系摩擦調整剤を含む場合のこれらの含有量は、潤滑油組成物の全量に対して合計0.1質量%未満が好ましく、より好ましくは0.05質量%未満であり、更に好ましくは0.01質量%未満である。アミド系摩擦調整剤又はアミン系摩擦調整剤を上記含有量以上で含む潤滑油組成物を、特にホウ素がドープされたDLC膜に対して用いると、摩擦係数が高くなり、摩耗も大きくなるため好ましくない。アミド系摩擦調整剤及びアミン系摩擦調整剤の含有量はできるだけ少ないことが好ましく、最も好ましいのはこれらのいずれも全く含まない態様である。
本発明の潤滑油組成物はジアルキルジチオリン酸亜鉛(ZnDTP(ZDDPともいう))を含む。該化合物は、潤滑油組成物の摩耗防止剤として知られているものであり下記式(2)で表される。
粘度指数向上剤としては、例えば、各種メタクリル酸エステルから選ばれる1種又は2種以上のモノマーの重合体又は共重合体、若しくはその水素化物などの、いわゆる非分散型粘度指数向上剤、又は、窒素化合物を含む各種メタクリル酸エステルを共重合させたいわゆる分散型粘度指数向上剤、非分散型又は分散型エチレン−α−オレフィン共重合体(α−オレフィンとしてはプロピレン、1−ブテン、1−ペンテン等が例示できる)、若しくはその水素化物、ポリイソブテン若しくはその水素化物、スチレン−ジエン共重合体の水素化物、スチレン−無水マレイン酸エステル共重合体、星状イソプレン等及びポリアルキルスチレン等が挙げられる。さらに、少なくともポリオレフィンマクロマーに基づく繰返し単位と炭素数1〜30のアルキル基を有するアルキル(メタ)アクリレートに基づく繰返し単位とを主鎖に含む櫛型ポリマーを用いることもできる。
潤滑油組成物中の粘度指数向上剤の含有量は、組成物全量基準で、0.01〜20質量%、好ましくは0.02〜10質量%、より好ましくは0.05〜5質量%である。
本発明の潤滑剤組成物はさらに無灰分散剤を含有することができる。無灰分散剤は従来公知のものを使用すればよく、特に制限されるものでない。例えば、炭素数40〜400の、直鎖構造又は分枝構造を有するアルキル基又はアルケニル基を分子中に少なくとも1個有する含窒素化合物又はその誘導体、あるいはコハク酸イミド及びその変性品等が挙げられる。無灰分散剤は1種類を単独で使用しても、2種類以上を併用してもよい。また、ホウ素化無灰分散剤を使用することもできる。ホウ素化無灰分散剤は潤滑油に用いられている任意の無灰分散剤をホウ素化したものである。ホウ素化は一般に、イミド化合物にホウ酸を作用させて、残存するアミノ基及び/又はイミノ基の一部又は全部を中和することにより行われる。
金属清浄剤としてはアルカリ金属又はアルカリ土類金属を有する清浄剤が挙げられる。例えば、アルカリ金属又はアルカリ土類金属を含有するスルフォネート、アルカリ金属又はアルカリ土類金属を含有するサリシレート、アルカリ金属又はアルカリ土類金属を含有するフェネートが挙げられるが、これに限定されない。また、アルカリ金属又はアルカリ土類金属としては、マグネシウム、バリウム、ナトリウム、及びカルシウムが挙げられるが、これに限定されない。
基材として、焼入れ処理を施したブロック状(6.3mm×15.7mm×10.1mm)の鋼材(SUS440C)を用意した。その鋼材の鏡面仕上げ面(表面粗さRzjis0.1μm/摺動面)に、アンバランスドマグネトロンスパッタリング装置(株式会社神戸製鋼所製UBMS504)を用いて、DLC膜を成膜した。ホウ素をドープしたDLC膜を形成するためにドープターゲットとしてB4Cを用いた。スパッタリングによるDLC膜の成膜は特開2014−224239号公報に記載されている方法に従った。こうしてホウ素をドープしたDLC膜(水素を含む)を成膜した評価材を得た。尚、各DLC膜の厚さは約2μmであった。得られた膜の組成は、ホウ素をドープしたDLC膜におけるホウ素量は膜全体を100原子%としたときのホウ素量として6%であった。
GTL由来基油(100℃動粘度=4.1mm2/s、VI=127)
モリブデン含有量9質量%、上記式(1)で表され、X1およびX2が酸素原子であり、Y1およびY2が硫黄原子であり、Rが炭素数8の一価炭化水素基である化合物。
・モリブデンジチオカーバメートMoDTC(モリブデン含有量10質量%)
・Mo三核体化合物(モリブデン含有量5.5質量%)
・オレイルアミン
・オレイン酸アミド
・Pri−ZnDTP(第一級アルキル基を有するジアルキルジチオリン酸亜鉛)
・Sec−ZnDTP(第二級アルキル基を有するジアルキルジチオリン酸亜鉛)
(B’)酸性リン酸エステル
・下記式で表されR6が2−エチルヘキシル基であり、nが1又は2である化合物の混合物
・Caサリシレート(全塩基価180mgKOH/g、Ca含有量6.3質量%)
・Mgスルホネート(全塩基価400mgKOH/g、Mg含有量9.4質量%)
・ホウ素化コハク酸イミド(B含有量0.7質量%、N含有量2.0質量%)
・非ホウ素化コハク酸イミド(N含有量1.0質量%)
(E)粘度指数向上剤
・ポリメタクリレート(Mw=300,000)
(F)その他の添加剤パッケージ
・酸化防止剤:フェノール系酸化防止剤、アミン系酸化防止剤
・消泡剤:ジメチルシリコーン
上記した各成分を表に記載の組成及び量で混合して潤滑油組成物を調製した。
表に記載の各量について、以下に説明する。
モリブデン系摩擦調整剤の量は、モリブデンの含有量に換算した潤滑油組成物の総量に対する質量ppmである。MoDTPについては、潤滑油組成物の総量に対するMoDTP由来のリン量の質量ppmも記載した。
ジアルキルジチオリン酸亜鉛の量は、潤滑油組成物の総量に対するジアルキルジチオリン酸亜鉛由来のリン量の質量ppmである。
オレイルアミン、オレイン酸アミド、及び酸性リン酸エステルの量は潤滑油組成物の総量に対する質量%である。
金属清浄剤の量は、カルシウム、及びマグネシウムの含有量に換算した潤滑油組成物の総量に対する質量%である。
無灰分散剤の量は、ホウ素の量に換算した潤滑油組成物の総量に対する質量ppmと、窒素の量に換算した潤滑油組成物の総量に対する質量ppmである。
また、表中には、潤滑油組成物の総量に対する、リンの合計質量ppmも記載した。
(1)100℃における動粘度(KV100)は、ASTM D445に従い測定した。(2)150℃での高温高せん断粘度(HTHS粘度)は、ASTM D4683に従い測定した。
(3)最低摩擦係数の測定
摺動面幅6mmのブロック試験片(DLC膜で被覆した試験片又はDLC膜で被覆していない試験片(鋼材(SAE O1)からなるFALEX社製標準試験片(硬さ RC58−63))と、相手となる外径35mm、幅9mmを有し鋼材からなるリング試験片(鋼材(SAE4620)からなるFALEX社製標準試験片(硬さ RC58−63))を用いて、ブロックオンリング摩擦試験を行った。図1に、ブロックオンリング摩擦試験の様子を模式図で示す。試験荷重294N、すべり速度0.3m/s、油温80℃(一定)として、30分間のブロックオンリング摩擦試験を行い、30分間における最低摩擦係数を本試験における最低摩擦係数とした。
(4)摩耗量の評価
上記ブロックオンリング摩擦試験前と試験後のブロック試験片の各々について、表面粗さ計(株式会社ミツトヨ社製、SURFTEST SV−3200)にて表面粗さ測定をし、摩耗量を算出した。摩耗量は、摺動痕の中央部1か所、及び摺動痕の両端から1mm中心部の部分2か所の合計3箇所の測定を行い、平均値を本試験の摩耗量とした。
これに対し、本発明の潤滑油組成物は、表1及び2に示す通り、鋼材と鋼材との摺動面間のみならず、B−DLC被膜面と鋼材との摺動面間においても優れた摩擦低減効果を与え、且つ、耐摩耗性も向上できる。

Claims (9)
- 潤滑油基油と、(A)モリブデンジアルキルジチオフォスフェート、及び(B)ジアルキルジチオリン酸亜鉛とを含有し、該潤滑油組成物全体の質量に対するリンの量が300〜1500質量ppmであることを特徴とする潤滑油組成物。
- (A’)アミン系摩擦調整剤及びアミド系摩擦調整剤からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種を、潤滑油組成物全体の質量に対して0.1質量%未満である量でさらに含む、又はいずれも含まない、請求項1記載の前記潤滑油組成物。
- 上記(A)成分の量が、モリブデン量として潤滑油組成物全体の質量に対して400〜1300質量ppmであり、及び、上記(B)成分の量が、リン量として潤滑油組成物全体の質量に対して200〜1000質量ppmである、請求項1又は2記載の潤滑油組成物。
- ダイヤモンドライクカーボン(DLC)膜の潤滑用である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載の潤滑油組成物。
- 相対移動し得る対向した摺動面を有する一対の摺動部材であり少なくとも1の摺動面がダイヤモンドライクカーボン(DLC)膜で被覆された面からなる前記摺動部材における該対向する摺動面の潤滑用である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載の潤滑油組成物。
- DLC膜がホウ素を含有する、請求項4または5に記載の潤滑油組成物。
- 150℃での高温高せん断粘度(HTHS粘度)1.4〜2.9mPa・sを有する、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項記載の潤滑油組成物。
- 100℃における動粘度9.3mm2/s以下を有する、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の潤滑油組成物。
- 内燃機関用である、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項記載の潤滑油組成物。
