Abstract
Description
以下は、低分子量ポリエチレンで改質され、向上された耐油汚れ性および耐熱性を有するアスファルト組成物の例であり、各成分は重量パーセントで示される。これらの例は、単に例示の目的で提供されるものであり、いかなる形であっても、アスファルト組成物の様々な実施形態を限定することを意図するものではない。
サンプルアスファルトコーティングの各々を、すべての原料成分を以下の順番で容器中に投入することによって作製し、第一に、アスファルトを190℃に加熱し、第二に、加熱されたアスファルトにSBSを添加して、2000rpmの速度で1時間にわたって一緒にせん断混合し、第三に、加熱されたアスファルト‐SBS材料にGTRを添加して、約1.5時間から2時間にわたって2000rpmの速度で一緒にせん断混合し、第四に、アスファルト‐SBS‐GTR混合物にHoneywell TITAN(登録商標)8903ポリエチレンを添加して、0.5時間にわたって2000rpmで混合し、第五に、アスファルト‐SBS‐GTR‐TITAN(登録商標)8903混合物にタルクを添加して、さらに0.5時間にわたって2000rpmでせん断混合を継続する。
アスファルト系防水膜の人工風化老化のための試験方法は、GB/T 18244‐2000に従う。アスファルトコーティングのサンプルを、約(70±1)℃の一定温度に維持した熱風老化試験ボックス内に配置し、老化時間のカウントを開始して、168時間もしくはそれ以上などの規定の老化時間まで行った。老化サンプルを取り出し、(23±2)℃の標準温度に24時間置き、次に、低温可撓性の試験を再度行い、その外観を記録した。
Claims (10)
- ルーフィング防水膜のためのアスファルトコーティングであって、すべてアスファルトコーティングの総重量に対して、
約30から約88重量パーセント(重量%)のアスファルト、
約0.1から約15重量%の低分子量(MW)ポリエチレン、
約1から約30重量%の熱可塑性エラストマー、
約5から約48重量%の無機充填剤、及び
約1から約20重量%の軟化剤、
を含む、アスファルトコーティング。 - 前記低分子量(MW)ポリエチレンが、官能化高密度ポリエチレンを含む、請求項1に記載のアスファルトコーティング。
- 前記低分子量(MW)ポリエチレンが、約500から約15000ダルトンの数平均分子量を有する、請求項1に記載のアスファルトコーティング。
- アスファルトコーティングの総重量に対して約1から約7重量%の低MWポリエチレンを含む、請求項1に記載のアスファルトコーティング。
- アスファルトコーティングの総重量に対して約15から約30重量%の熱可塑性エラストマーを含む、請求項1に記載のアスファルトコーティング。
- 前記熱可塑性エラストマーが、約8重量%未満の合成ゴムおよび1つ以上のその他の熱可塑性エラストマー、ならびに約10から約12重量%の粉砕タイヤゴム(GTR)および1つ以上のその他の熱可塑性エラストマーを含む、請求項1に記載のアスファルトコーティング。
- 基材、及び
アスファルトコーティング基材を形成するために前記基材上にコーティングされたアスファルトコーティング、
を含むルーフィング用途に用いるための防水膜であって、
前記アスファルトコーティングは、すべてアスファルトコーティングの総重量に対して、
約30から約88重量パーセント(重量%)のアスファルト、
約0.1から約15重量%の低MWポリエチレン、
約1から約30重量%の熱可塑性エラストマー、
約5から約48重量%の無機充填剤、及び
約1から約20重量%の軟化剤、
を含む、防水膜。 - 前記アスファルトコーティング基材上を覆う分離材をさらに含む、請求項7に記載の防水膜。
- 防水膜のためのアスファルトコーティングを作製するための方法であって、
アスファルトを少なくとも約180℃に加熱する工程、
前記アスファルトに熱可塑性エラストマーを添加し、一緒に混合して、加熱されたアスファルト‐エラストマー混合物を形成する工程、
前記加熱されたアスファルト‐エラストマー混合物に低MWポリエチレンを添加し、混合して、アスファルト‐エラストマー‐ポリエチレン混合物を形成する工程、及び
前記アスファルト‐エラストマー‐ポリエチレン混合物に無機充填剤を添加し、混合を継続して前記アスファルトコーティングを形成する工程、
を含む方法。 - 前記熱可塑性エラストマーを添加し、混合して前記加熱されたアスファルト‐エラストマー混合物を作製した後、および前記低MWポリエチレンを添加する前に、第二の熱可塑性エラストマーを、前記加熱されたアスファルト‐エラストマー材料に添加し、混合することをさらに含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
