Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の粒状肥料の固結防止方法は、粒度10μm以下、純度90%以上のタルクを粒状肥料に添加して混合することを含む。本発明によれば、製造後の化成肥料やBB肥料等の粒状肥料に上記した所定の条件を満たすタルクを添加・混合するのみで、肥料粒子間の再結晶生成や原料間の反応による反応生成物生成による粒状肥料の固結の発生が抑制され、固結強度も低減されるので、簡便かつ低コストで固結の防止を実現できる。

Description
1.供試肥料
市販品のBB肥料(硫安、リン酸アンモニウム、塩化カリの各粒状肥料を混合したもの、粒径2mm〜4mm程度)750gに対し、各種タルク等の鉱物粉末を所定量添加した。
1の肥料をビニール袋(厚さ0.1mm、200×300mm)に充填し、脱気した。これらを6段に積み重ね、温度30℃、湿度85%RH条件下の恒温恒湿器内で静置し、60kgの加重をかけ、4週間保管した。保管後、固結物の重量を測定し、固結割合を算出した。固結物については山中式硬度計で5箇所の硬度を測定し、平均を算出した。評価は3連で行った。
1の肥料を1週間静置した後、全量を1mmの篩に通し、1mm以下の粉の重量を添加重量から除した値を算出し、剥離率とした。なお、ブランクとして鉱物粉末を添加しないものを別途用意した。
3の1mm以上の篩上品を100g用意し、磁性ポットに試料を入れ、そこに磁性ボールを3個入れた。毎分75回転で15分回転させ、1mmの篩を通し、1mm以下の粉の重量割合を算出し、粉化率とした。
レーザー回折法の粒度分布測定装置(SALD-2000J、株式会社島津製作所)を用いた。100mLトールビーカーに試料を0.2g程度入れ、試料調整液(蒸留水+界面活性剤0.2%)20mLを加えてなじませ、超音波で処理して鉱物試料を分散させ、適正な濃度(均一に分散した状態)となった試料液を分析した。
装置は波長分散型のシーケンシャル型蛍光X線分析装置(XRF-1500、株式会社島津製作所)を用いた。試料を粉末プレス機で成型したものを分析し、予め既知の成分のタルクから算出した検量線を用いて成分を算出した。
タルクを含む3種類の鉱物粉末について、BB試料の固結軽減効果及び剥離率を調べた。結果を表1に示す。タルクの固結軽減効果が高く、低コストで効果的な固結防止対策として有望と考えられた。そこで、粒度や純度が異なる様々なタルクについて、固結軽減効果等を詳細に検討することとした。
Claims (9)
- 粒度10μm以下、純度90%以上のタルクを粒状肥料に添加して混合することを含む、粒状肥料の固結防止方法。
- タルクの添加量が0.1〜0.5重量%である、請求項1記載の方法。
- タルクの粒度が0.1〜10μmである、請求項1又は2記載の方法。
- タルクの純度が90%以上である、請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記粒状肥料がBB肥料である、請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 粒度10μm以下、純度90%以上のタルクを主成分とする、粒状肥料用の粉末状固結防止材。
- 前記タルクからなる、請求項6記載の粉末状固結防止材。
- 請求項6又は7記載の粉末状固結防止材で粒状肥料の表面を被覆してなる、粒状肥料組成物。
- タルクの含有割合が0.1〜0.5重量%である、請求項10記載の粒状肥料組成物。
