Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a resin product formed by joining resin members by injection, such as a toilet seat having a hollow portion in which a heater or the like can be disposed.
In recent years, toilet seats have been developed in which a hollow portion is formed in a toilet seat and a heater or the like is disposed therein, and the toilet seat is composed of an upper part and a lower part in order to form a hollow part. A toilet seat is formed by joining side parts.
Such joining of the resin parts such as the upper part and the lower part of the toilet seat is performed by vibration welding (Patent Document 1), or welded to a gap (passage) between the upper part and the lower part. This is done by injecting and fixing a resin for use (Patent Document 2).
However, the joining method by vibration welding disclosed in Patent Document 1 requires a finishing process such as scraping burrs and the like generated by welding, and the manufacturing process as a whole has increased. On the other hand, in the bonding method for injecting and fixing the resin disclosed in Patent Document 2, a protrusion is provided at the entrance of the injection portion to prevent resin leakage at the time of injection. In some cases, the crushing varies and a step remains.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a resin product capable of reliably joining resin members without increasing the number of manufacturing steps.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention is a resin product formed by joining resin parts together, wherein a joint part of one resin part and a joint part of the other resin part are brought into contact with each other. A groove portion and a fitting wall portion extending along one side of the groove portion are formed in the joint portion of one resin part, and the groove portion and one of the groove portions are formed in the joint portion of the other resin component. A fitting recess extending along the side is formed, and in the joined state between one resin part and the other resin part, a cavity is formed by the groove part of one resin part and the groove part of the other resin part, The fitting wall and the fitting recess are fitted on one side of the cavity.
When joining the resin parts by bringing the joint surfaces into contact with each other and injecting the resin into the joints, the injected resin can be filled without leaking from the contact parts of the joint surfaces. Can be reliably joined.
An embodiment of the resin product of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings while showing a toilet seat having a hollow portion.
-Composition of toilet seat (resin product)-
As shown to Fig.1 (a), the toilet seat 1 which concerns on embodiment of the resin product of this invention has a semi-elliptical shape by planar view as a whole, and the substantially elliptical opening 1a long in the front-back direction in the center part. Is formed and is pivotally attached to the upper surface of the toilet body by a hinge portion 1b provided on the rear side.
The toilet seat 1 is formed by joining an upper part 11 and a lower part 12, which are resin parts made of resin such as polypropylene, for example, in a vertical direction at a joint portion formed on the side end portion thereof, and is hollow. A heater 1c and the like are disposed in the portion 14.
In the following description, as shown in FIG. 1B, the opening 1a side (left side) is referred to as “inner peripheral side”, and the non-opening side (right side) is referred to as “outer peripheral side”.
As shown in FIG. 2, the upper part 11 of the toilet seat 1 includes an upper surface portion 111 that is inclined downward toward the central opening 1 a and an upper outer wall portion 112 that extends downward from the outer peripheral side of the upper surface portion 111. And an upper inner wall portion 113 extending downward from the inner peripheral side of the upper surface portion 111, while the lower part 12 of the toilet seat 1 includes a substantially flat lower surface portion 121 and a lower surface portion. The lower outer wall portion 122 extends upward from the outer peripheral side of the 121 and the lower inner wall portion 123 formed on the inner peripheral side of the lower surface portion 121. And the lower part of the upper outer wall part 112 and the upper inner wall part 113 of the upper part 11, and the lower outer part 122 and the upper part of the lower inner wall part 123 of the lower part 12 join the upper part and the lower part. (Parts indicated by A, B, C, and D in FIG. 2).
The joint portion A of the upper outer wall portion 112 of the upper part 11 has a substantially horizontal joint surface 112a, and an upper groove portion 112b that opens downward is formed on the outer peripheral side of the joint surface 112a, forming the upper groove portion 112b. The lower surface of the outer peripheral wall 112c on the outer peripheral side is positioned above the bonding surface 112a. A fitting wall portion 112d extending downward is formed on the inner peripheral side of the joint surface 112a, and the inner surface of the fitting wall portion 112d is continuous with the inner surface of the hollow portion of the toilet seat 1.
The joint portion B of the lower outer wall portion 122 of the lower part 12 has a substantially horizontal joint surface 122a, and a lower groove portion 122b that opens upward is formed on the outer peripheral side of the joint surface 122a to form the lower groove portion 122b. The upper surface of the outer peripheral wall 122c on the outer peripheral side is located below the bonding surface 122a. A fitting recess 122d that is recessed downward is formed on the inner peripheral side of the joint surface 122a.
In addition, since the structure of the junction part C of the upper inner wall part 113 of the upper part 11 and the junction part D of the lower inner wall part 123 of the lower part 12 is substantially the same as the structure of the upper outer wall part 112 and the lower outer wall part 122, Description is omitted.
-Joining the upper and lower parts-
The toilet seat 1 including the upper part 11 and the lower part 12 is accommodated in a mold in a state where the upper part 11 and the lower part 12 are in contact with each other in the vertical direction, and the upper part 11 and the lower part 12 are joined. It is formed by injecting (injecting) resin for bonding into the cavity formed in the contact portion of the part.
Hereinafter, the method for forming the toilet seat 1 will be described in detail using a joint portion between the joint portion A and the joint portion B.
As shown in FIG. 3, in a state where the joint parts of the upper part 11 and the lower part 12 are in contact with each other, the joint surface 112 a of the joint part A of the upper part 11 and the joint surface of the joint part B of the lower part 12. 122a abuts with a horizontal abutment surface in the vertical direction, and along the longitudinal direction of the toilet seat 1 on the outer peripheral side of the abutment surface by the upper groove portion 112b of the upper part 11 and the lower groove portion 122b of the lower part 12 A hollow portion 13 is formed.
And since the outer peripheral walls 112c and 122c on the outer peripheral side of the upper groove portion 112b and the lower groove portion 122b are both formed shorter in the vertical direction than the joint surfaces 112a and 122a, the outer peripheral side of the cavity portion 13 does not come into contact. A communication portion 13a that connects the hollow portion 13 and the outside is formed.
On the other hand, on the inner peripheral side of the cavity part 13, a fitting wall part 112 d extending from the joining surface 112 a of the upper part 11 fits into a fitting recess 122 d formed on the joining surface 122 a of the lower part 12. The upper part 11 and the lower part 12 are overlapped and joined on the inner peripheral side (hollow part side) of the cavity part 13, and the joining surface formed by abutting the joining surfaces 112a and 122a is the toilet seat. It is formed so as not to be linearly continuous with respect to one hollow portion.
When the upper part 11 and the lower part 12 are joined, the thick part of the joint part of the upper part 11 and the lower part 12 protrudes partly toward the hollow part of the toilet seat as shown by the dotted line in FIG. Or by increasing the thickness of the joint part over the entire circumference, and providing the positioning part 1d with the convex part and the concave part in the thick part, or the joint part with increased thickness, Positioning in the longitudinal direction of the joint between the upper part 11 and the lower part 12 can be performed, and the manufacturing accuracy can be improved.
As shown in FIG. 4, the upper part 11 and the lower part 12 assembled in contact with each other in the vertical direction are stored in a storage space formed by the upper mold 51 and the lower mold 52. The storage space has substantially the same shape as the outer shape of the toilet seat 1 and is stored so that the toilet seat 1 does not rattle in the storage space. The communicating portion 13a that communicates the cavity portion 13 with the outside is disposed in the vicinity of the abutting portion of the upper die 51 and the lower die 52, and as shown by a triangular mark a in FIG. In addition, at a plurality of locations on the inner peripheral side, resin supply ports 51 a that communicate with the communication portion 13 a are formed at the contact portions of the upper mold 51 and the lower mold 52. After the upper mold 51 and the lower mold 52 are clamped, the adhesive resin is supplied into the cavity 13 by injecting (injecting) the adhesive resin from the resin supply port 51a. As the adhesive resin, the same thermoplastic resin as the toilet seat material, such as polypropylene, can be used. By injecting (injecting) the adhesive resin into the cavity 13 in a molten state, the adhesive in the molten state can be used. The upper part 11 and the lower part 12 at the part in contact with the resin for resin melt and are cooled and cured together with the injected resin, so that the upper part 11 and the lower part 12 are firmly joined.
After the adhesive resin is cooled and cured, the upper and lower molds 51 and 52 are removed, the toilet seat 1 is taken out, and the toilet seat 1 is formed by finishing the surface.
In order to better understand the configuration of the joint portion, the dimensions of each part are illustrated in FIG. 4B. The thickness dimension a of the fitting wall portion 112d is 1.5 mm, and the thickness dimension b of the joint surface 112a is 1. The thickness dimension c of the upper groove 112b (cavity 13) is 2 mm, the thickness d of the outer peripheral wall 112c is 1 mm, the height e of the communication part 13a is 1 mm, and the height dimension f of the cavity 13 is 5 mm. .
As described above, by forming the outer peripheral wall 112c in a relatively thin plate shape having a thickness dimension d of about 1 mm, when the injected adhesive resin flows preferentially to fill the cavity 13, Since the outer peripheral walls 112c and 122c are bent and pressed against the upper mold 51 and the lower mold 52 by the pressure of the adhesive resin filled in the cavity 13, the outer peripheral walls 112c and 122c and the upper and lower molds 51 are pressed. , 52 can be prevented from leaking and the sink or deformation due to the resin leak can be suppressed on the surface of the toilet seat 1 after molding.
The outer peripheral wall 112c of the upper part 11 and the outer peripheral wall 122c of the lower part 12 are inclined by about 1 to 3 degrees as indicated by dotted lines in FIG. Even if dimensional fluctuations occur due to molding fluctuations, shrinkage ratio fluctuations, etc., uneven contact with the lower molds 51 and 52 on both outer peripheral walls 112c and 122c is eliminated, and both the outer peripheral walls 112c and 122c and upper and lower molds 51 and 52 are eliminated. It is possible to further prevent the adhesive resin from leaking due to a gap between the two.
Further, when the molten adhesive resin is injected (injected), the contact portions of the joint surfaces 112a and 122a constituting the inner periphery of the cavity 13 are separated by the injection (injection) of the resin, and the adhesive resin However, in the toilet seat 1 of the present embodiment, the fitting wall portion 112d extending from the joint surface 112a of the upper part 11 is provided on the inner peripheral side of the cavity part 13 in the lower part 12. Since the upper part 11 and the lower part 12 are joined so as to be overlapped on the inner peripheral side of the cavity part 13 by fitting into the fitting recess 122d formed on the joining surface 122a, the upper part 11 and the upper part 11 are joined by injection. Even if a slight warp or the like occurs in the lower part 12, a communication path that communicates linearly with the hollow portion is not formed between the upper part 11 and the lower part 12.
Also, the molten adhesive resin injected (injected) into the cavity portion tries to enter the hollow portion of the toilet seat 1 through the joint surfaces 112a and 122a, but the joint surfaces 112a and 122a come into contact with each other. The abutment surface is formed continuously with the engagement surface formed by fitting the engagement wall portion 112d and the engagement recess 122d, and the inner periphery side of the contact surface is bent downward. Since the injected adhesive resin in the molten state does not enter the hollow portion linearly, the bending passage suppresses the momentum of invasion and does not reach the hollow portion. Since it is cooled and hardened, it is difficult for the adhesive resin to leak into the hollow portion (back surface).
Further, the cavity 13 and the communication portion 13a communicating with the cavity 13 are symmetrical in the vertical direction across the contact surface between the joint surface 112a and the joint surface 122a, and the adhesive resin injected from the communication portion 13a. Is that the hollow part 13 is uniformly injected to the upper groove part 112b of the upper part 11 and the lower groove part 122b of the lower part 12, and that one of the parts is greatly deformed by being injected in either direction. It is preventing.
As described above, in the toilet seat according to the embodiment of the present invention, in the joined state of the upper part and the lower part constituting the toilet seat, the cavity part is formed around the joining surface and the outer peripheral side of the cavity part is formed. Since the outer peripheral wall is relatively thin, the outer peripheral wall is bent and pressed against the mold by the pressure of the adhesive resin that is injected into the cavity and filled in the cavity. It is possible to prevent the adhesive resin from leaking out.
Further, the hollow part side of the cavity part is joined by fitting the fitting wall part of the upper member and the fitting concave part of the lower member, and the upper part and the lower part overlap on the hollow part side of the cavity part. Therefore, it is possible to suppress deformation of the hollow portion side of the hollow portion due to injection of the adhesive resin in the molten state, and the bonding portion between the upper part and the lower part is not separated and is used for bonding. It is possible to prevent the resin from leaking into the hollow portion of the toilet seat.
In addition, since the adhesive resin injected into the cavity is uniformly injected (injected) into the upper part and the lower part in the cavity, the resin is injected with a bias toward one of the upper part and the lower part. Since it can prevent that it deform | transforms greatly by this, separation of the junction part of an upper part and a lower part is further suppressed, and it can prevent that resin for adhesion leaks in the hollow part of a toilet seat.
As described above, the embodiment of the present invention has been described with reference to a toilet seat having a hollow portion, but the resin product of the present invention is not limited to the toilet seat, and may be formed by being joined by injection. Whatever may be used, by providing the joint structure used in the resin product of the present invention, the appearance of the joint surface is good, and it has a special effect that there is no need for finishing treatment in particular. It is.
In particular, by adopting it as a toilet seat, there is no gap in the joint portion, and even if sewage or filth adheres, it can be easily wiped off, which is hygienic and preferable.
In addition, the dimension of the joint part of the resin part illustrated in the above embodiment is merely an example. For example, when the wall thickness is increased over the entire circumference of the joint part in order to provide the positioning part 1d, The dimension of the fitting wall 112d (fitting recess 122d) can be determined as appropriate, for example, 2.0 mm or more.
Moreover, in the said embodiment, the structure of a type | mold is not restricted especially to what is divided | segmented into two upper and lower sides, You may divide | segment into a horizontal direction and may divide | segment into three or more.
