Description

Detailed Description of the Invention

The present invention relates to an electronic sphygmomanometer suitable for simultaneously measuring the blood pressure of the right and left half of a human body.

Related background technology

Recently, electronic sphygmomanometers have been widely used in ordinary households due to their ease of use and reasonable price, and individuals have been using them for health management by continuously grasping their blood pressure data.

Problems to be solved by the invention

However, since the conventional electronic blood pressure monitor has a single cuff, each person wears a cuff on either the left or right arm or wrist as determined by his / her preference and measures blood pressure to complete data acquisition. There is a tendency, and it is rarely carried out by continuously changing the cuff on the other arm or wrist.
For this reason, for example, even if the blood pressure balance between the right and left body is broken due to blood clots, etc., if the measured value of either the left or right determined by your preference happens to be within the standard value, The risk of missing an abnormal condition that is out of balance is inherent in this measurement procedure using a single cuff. In other words, it is important to measure both the left and right blood pressures by performing the replacement measurement of one cuff and knowing the blood pressure values of the right and left body for the first time. It is.
However, in this measurement procedure using one cuff, the right and left blood pressure measurements cannot be performed in the same time zone, so there is a problem that blood pressure fluctuations due to changes in physical condition during that time become measurement errors. You must take some means to keep it inside. Actually, even in a healthy body, the maximum and minimum values of blood pressure have a characteristic that fluctuates greatly in a short time with a slight trigger, and it is difficult to suppress this fluctuation before and after the cuff replacement.
Therefore, as a means of correctly knowing the blood pressure balance state of the right and left body, it is important to measure the left and right at the same time zone, so that fluctuations in the measurement time are taken into both the left and right measurement values, but this fluctuation is If the difference between the left and right measured values is taken, it is canceled out. For this execution, conventionally, it has been necessary to use the same type of electronic sphygmomanometer for the right and left halves, and simultaneously press the measurement start switches of the two sphygmomanometers.
The present invention has been made to solve such problems, and its purpose is to facilitate the simultaneous measurement of the right and left blood pressures with an electronic sphygmomanometer, and to eliminate error factors caused by differences in measurement time zones. To provide equipment.

Means for solving the problem

In order to achieve the above-described object, the electronic sphygmomanometer according to the present invention is characterized in that two cuffs are provided for one electronic sphygmomanometer.

Hereinafter, an electronic blood pressure monitor according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a diagram showing a schematic configuration of an electronic sphygmomanometer. Reference numeral 1 denotes an electronic sphygmomanometer main body which controls the first cuff 3 and the second cuff 4. Reference numeral 2 denotes an operation unit and a display unit. In this example, a touch panel is used, but any mechanical or electronic type may be used as long as the function as an electronic blood pressure monitor can be realized. Reference numeral 5 denotes a measurement start switch. Start cuff 4 of.

The procedure for simultaneously measuring the blood pressure of the right and left half of the human body is, for example, that the first cuff 3 is first attached to the upper right arm and then the second cuff 4 is attached to the left upper arm and then the left and right upper arms are almost When the measurement start switch 5 is turned on after maintaining the posture so as to be the same height as the heart, the two cuffs start to be pressurized, and then the pressurization stops and the pressure is gradually reduced and left and right respectively. The blood pressure is measured and recorded, and the measurement ends. The blood pressure measurement mechanism for one arm is the same as that of a conventional electronic sphygmomanometer, but two cuffs operate in the same time zone, and even if there is a large fluctuation in blood pressure during measurement, Since the values are reflected to the same extent at the same time, it is possible to eliminate the error factor in knowing the blood pressure balance between the right and left bodies.

In addition, when the measurement start switch input times of the first cuff 3 and the second cuff 4 are different, it is desirable to match the timing of the pressure reduction start for these two cuffs as much as possible. When starting prior to the second cuff 4, it is desirable that the second cuff 4 finishes the pressurizing operation before the first cuff 3 starts the pressure reducing operation.

Effect of the invention

As described above, according to the present invention, by providing two cuffs in one electronic sphygmomanometer, it becomes possible to easily and simultaneously measure the blood pressure of both the right and left body and compare the left and right data. This makes it possible to detect diseases such as blood clots and aneurysms at an early stage.
