Description

The present invention relates to an exterior iron wire connection fitting used for a connection portion of a cable having an iron wire sheath such as a submarine cable, and a method for connecting an exterior iron wire using the same.

Conventionally, as a method of connecting the armored wire of the cable, sleeves with screw holes on both ends are prepared for the number of armored wires, and the end of each iron wire is threaded, and then the threaded holes of each sleeve are formed. A method is known in which an end portion of an iron wire is screwed and each iron wire and a sleeve are welded (see Patent Document 1).

Moreover, after preparing the cylindrical coupling tool which formed many groove | channels or holes which insert many exterior iron wires one by one in both ends, this cylindrical coupling tool is arrange | positioned on the outer periphery of a cable main body connection part, and is cylindrical. There has also been proposed a method in which an end portion of an iron wire is inserted into each groove or hole of the connector and each iron wire is welded to the tubular connector (see Patent Document 2).

特公昭56−1005号公報Japanese Patent Publication No.56-1005 特開2010−178613号公報JP 2010-178613 A

However, in the connection method disclosed in Patent Document 1, threading is applied to each iron wire, each sleeve is rotated, and the iron wire and the sleeve are screwed to apply tension to each iron wire. Since it is necessary to weld the iron wire and the sleeve, a great amount of labor and time are required. Also, in order to prevent loosening of the iron wire, it is necessary to perform welding while the iron wire is in contact with the connection portion of the cable body. Therefore, high heat during welding is transmitted to the connection portion of the cable body, and There is a risk that the insulating material is damaged and the insulating performance is deteriorated.

Compared to this, the connection method disclosed in Patent Document 2 does not require threading one iron wire at a time, and the welded portion is slightly separated from the cable body connecting portion, so that high heat is not easily transmitted to the cable body connecting portion. Thus, an improvement is seen over the method disclosed in Patent Document 1. However, in the method disclosed in Patent Document 2, since the tubular connector is disposed in contact with or close to the cable body connecting portion, heat at the time of welding may be transmitted to the cable body connecting portion via the tubular connector. The connection method disclosed in Patent Document 2 cannot apply tension to the iron wire when welding the iron wire to the tubular coupler, Looseness is likely to occur. In particular, if the iron wire around the connection part of the cable body is loose, when the tension is applied to the iron wire exterior cable, the tension corresponding to the loosening of the iron wire will be applied to the connection part of the cable body. There is a risk of pulling out the cable conductor or disconnecting the cable conductor.

According to the present invention, since a plurality of iron wire fixing fittings combined in a cylindrical shape are used, the welding operation for fixing the outer iron wire to each iron wire fixing fitting can be performed in a state where the iron wire fixing fittings are separated from the cable body connecting portion. Therefore, it can prevent that a cable main-body connection part is damaged with the high heat at the time of welding.

<Example 1> FIG. 1: shows one Example of the exterior iron wire connection metal fitting which concerns on this invention. The exterior iron wire connection fitting is divided into a plurality of pieces in the circumferential direction, and the plurality of first iron wire fixing fittings 1 combined in a cylindrical shape around one cable side of the cable body connection portion (described later), and also in the circumferential direction. A plurality of second iron wire fixing brackets 2 that are divided into a plurality of pieces and are combined in a cylindrical shape around the other cable side of the cable main body connection portion, and the first and second iron wire fixings at the same circumferential position It is comprised from the volt | bolt 3 and the nut 4 (tightening member) which connect the metal fittings 1 and 2 to an axial direction. Although only one set of the bolt 3 and the nut 4 is shown in FIG. 1, the same number of bolts 3 and nuts 4 as the first and second iron wire fixing brackets 1 and 2 are prepared.

The first iron wire fixing bracket 1 has a groove 5 into which the end of the outer iron wire of one cable is inserted at the end opposite to the second iron wire fixing bracket 2, and the second iron wire fixing bracket 2 side. A flange piece 6 is provided at the end of the flange.

The second iron wire fixing bracket 2 also has the same structure as the first iron wire fixing bracket 1 (the left and right sides are opposite), and the outer iron wire of the other cable is provided at the end opposite to the first iron wire fixing bracket 1. Is provided with a groove 5 into which is inserted, and a flange piece 6 is provided at the end on the first iron wire fixing bracket 1 side.

The groove 5 into which the outer iron wire is inserted is opened on the outer peripheral surface of the iron wire fixing fittings 1 and 2, but the opening width is set narrower than the diameter of the outer iron wire. This is to prevent the armored iron wire inserted into the groove 5 from jumping out of the opening during welding.

The flange piece 6 is formed so as to protrude radially from the outer peripheral surfaces of the iron wire fixing fittings 1 and 2. Each flange piece 6 is formed with a bolt insertion hole 7.

FIG. 2 shows a method for connecting an armored iron wire of an iron-wire armored cable using the armored iron wire connector shown in FIG. In the figure, 11 is a cable main body of one iron wire sheathed cable, 12 is a cable main body of the other iron wire sheathed cable, 13 is an armored iron wire twisted on one cable main body 11, and 14 is twisted on the other cable main body 12. A combined outer iron wire 15 is a connecting portion of the cable bodies 11 and 12.

First, the end portion of the armored iron wire 13 of one cable is fixed to each of the plurality of first iron wire fixing brackets 1. This operation is performed by inserting the end portion of the outer iron wire 13 into the groove 5 of the iron wire fixing bracket 1 and then welding the outer iron wire 13 to the iron wire fixing bracket 1 along the opening of the groove 5. Since the iron wire fixing bracket 1 is divided into a plurality of portions in the circumferential direction, welding can be performed in a state where the iron wire fixing bracket 1 is separated from the cable body connecting portion 15 as shown in FIG. For this reason, high heat at the time of welding is not transmitted to the cable main body connecting portion, and thermal damage to the cable main body connecting portion can be reliably prevented.

The operation | work which fixes the edge part of the exterior iron wire 14 of the other cable to the 2nd iron wire fixing metal fitting 2 is performed similarly.

As shown in FIG. 2, the first iron wire fixing bracket 1 to which the outer iron wire 13 of one cable is fixed is assembled in a cylindrical shape around the one cable side of the cable main body connection portion 15. Similarly, the second iron wire fixing bracket 2 to which the outer iron wire 14 of the other cable is fixed is also combined in a cylindrical shape around the other cable side of the cable body connecting portion 15.

When the exterior iron wires 13 and 14 are fixed to the iron wire fixing brackets 1 and 2, the positions where the ends of the exterior iron wires 13 and 14 are trimmed are the same as those shown in FIG. Thus, when it arrange | positions around the cable main body connection part 15, it selects so that the suitable space | interval D may leave between the flange pieces 6 and 6 of both the iron wire fixing metal fittings 1 and 2. FIG. In the state of FIG. 2, no tension is applied to the armored iron wires 13 and 14.

Thereafter, the bolt 3 is inserted into the bolt insertion holes 7 and 7 of the flange pieces 6 and 6 of the iron wire fixing fittings 1 and 2 at the same position in the circumferential direction, and tightened with the nut 4. By this tightening, the first and second iron wire fixing brackets 1 and 2 are moved in a direction in which the two flange pieces 6 and 6 approach each other, and tension is gradually applied to the exterior iron wires 13 and 14.

When the bolts and nuts 3 and 4 are tightened until the required tension is applied to the exterior iron wires 13 and 14, an exterior iron wire connecting portion as shown in FIG. 4 is obtained. In this exterior iron wire connecting portion, the exterior iron wire 13 of one cable is fixed to the first iron wire fixing bracket by welding, the exterior iron wire 14 of the other cable is fixed to the second iron wire fixing bracket 2 by welding, and The flange pieces 6 and 6 of the corresponding iron wire fixing fittings 1 and 2 are connected by the bolt nuts 3 and 4 so that tension is applied to the external iron wires 13 and 14 of both cables. As a result, the armored iron wires 13 and 14 near the cable main body connection portion 15 are not loosened, and even when a tension is applied to the iron wire armored cable, the armored iron wire takes over most of the tension. There is no possibility that the part 15 is damaged.

In the said Example, although the groove | channel 5 which inserts an exterior iron wire was formed in the 1st and 2nd iron wire fixing metal fittings 1 and 2, a hole (it is not opening to the outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical member) instead of the groove | channel 5 is formed. It may be formed. When forming a hole, welding of a cylindrical member and an exterior iron wire is performed at the entrance of a hole.

<Example 2> FIG. 5: shows the other Example of the armored iron wire connection metal fitting which concerns on this invention. The exterior iron wire connection fitting is divided into a plurality of first iron wire fixing fittings 21 that are divided into a plurality of pieces in the circumferential direction and combined in a cylindrical shape around one cable side of the cable body connection portion. A plurality of second iron wire fixing brackets 22 that are divided and combined in a cylindrical shape around the other cable side of the cable body connection portion, and first and second iron wire fixing brackets 21 at the same circumferential position, It is comprised from the connection piece 23 and the volt | bolt 24 (connection member) which connect 22 to an axial direction. Although only two bolts 24 are shown in FIG. 5, the same number of bolts 24 as the total number of the first and second iron wire fixing fittings 21 and 22 are prepared.

The first iron wire fixing bracket 21 has a groove 25 into which the end portion of the outer iron wire of one cable is inserted at the end opposite to the second iron wire fixing bracket 22, and the second iron wire fixing bracket 22 side. An end portion of the connecting piece 23 to the connecting piece 23 is provided. A bolt insertion hole 27 is formed in the attachment portion 26.

The second iron wire fixing bracket 22 has the same structure as that of the first iron wire fixing bracket 21 (only the left and right sides are opposite), and the outer iron wire of the other cable at the end opposite to the first iron wire fixing bracket 21. The end portion of the first iron wire fixing bracket 21 side has an attachment portion 26 to the connecting piece 23. A bolt insertion hole 27 is formed in the attachment portion 26.

Although the groove | channel 25 which inserts an exterior iron wire is opened in the outer peripheral surface of the iron wire fixing metal fittings 1 and 2, the opening width is set narrower than the diameter of an exterior iron wire. This is the same as in the first embodiment.

The connecting piece 23 is also divided into a plurality in the circumferential direction, and is combined in a cylindrical shape around the cable body connecting portion. Female screw holes 28 into which the bolts 24 are screwed are formed near both ends of the connecting piece 23.

FIG. 6 shows a state in which the armored iron wires 13 and 14 of the iron wire armored cables 11 and 12 are connected using the armored iron wire connector shown in FIG. To connect the external iron wires 13 and 14 of the cables 11 and 12, first, the end of the external iron wire 13 of one cable 11 is fixed to the first iron wire fixing metal 21 by welding, and then the second iron wire fixing metal 22. The end of the 12 sheathed iron wire 14 of the other cable is fixed by welding. As in the first embodiment, the fixing work can be performed by separating the iron wire fixing brackets 21 and 22 from the cable main body connecting portion 15, so that the cable main body connecting portion 15 is not damaged by welding heat.

Next, the first iron wire fixing fitting 21 is fastened and fixed to one end side of each connecting piece 23 by a bolt 24, and the second iron wire fixing fitting 22 is fastened and fixed to the other end side of each connecting piece 23 by a bolt 24. As a result, the first and second iron wire fixtures 21 and 22 at the same position in the circumferential direction are connected via the connecting piece 23.
