Abstract
【解決手段】吸着材を用いて二酸化炭素を吸着させる方法であって、前記吸着材がバリウムイオンで交換されたゼオライトからなり、100Pa以下の圧力雰囲気下で前記吸着材と二酸化炭素とを接触させることを特徴とする二酸化炭素の吸着方法を提供することによって解決される。このとき、前記ゼオライト中のSi原子とAl原子との比(Si/Al)が2〜20であり、バリウムイオン交換率が100〜200%であることが好ましい。また、前記ゼオライトの結晶構造型がZSM−5型であることも好ましい。

Description
[バリウムイオンで交換されたゼオライトの調製]
ナトリウム型ZSM−5型ゼオライト(東ソー株式会社製、Si/Al=11.9)3gと0.5mol/LのBaCl2水溶液100mLを混合し、80℃で1時間撹拌した後、得られた懸濁液を遠心分離し上澄み液を除去して固形分を得た。引き続き、当該固形分に0.5mol/LのBaCl2水溶液100mLを加えて80℃で1時間撹拌した後、得られた懸濁液を遠心分離し上澄み液を除去して固形分を得た。このようにしてBaCl2水溶液中で撹拌してから固形分を得る操作を10回繰り返した。得られた固形分を蒸留水で十分洗浄した後、真空デシケーターを用い室温で一晩乾燥させ、バリウムイオンで交換されたゼオライトを得た(以下、BaZSM−5型ゼオライトと称す)。得られたBaZSM−5型ゼオライトに含まれるバリウムイオンの量をICP発光分光分析装置により測定した結果、バリウムイオンの交換率は149%であった。
得られたBaZSM−5型ゼオライトを、1.3mPa、600℃の条件下で4時間真空加熱処理した。引き続き、膜圧計を装着したガラス製の真空ラインを用いて、容量法により25℃で二酸化炭素の吸着等温線を測定した。ゼオライトを入れた容器に所定量の二酸化炭素を導入してゼオライトに吸着させて平衡圧力を求め、当該平衡圧力において1g当たりのゼオライトに吸着された二酸化炭素の体積(cm3)を、標準温度圧力(S.T.P.:Standard Temperature and Pressure)での体積として求めた。引き続き、所定量の二酸化炭素を導入して平衡圧力を求める操作を繰り返し、平衡圧力ごとに吸着された体積をプロットし、一次吸着等温線を得た。
Claims (5)
- 吸着材を用いて二酸化炭素を吸着させる方法であって、前記吸着材がバリウムイオンで交換されたゼオライトからなり、100Pa以下の圧力雰囲気下で前記吸着材と二酸化炭素とを接触させることを特徴とする二酸化炭素の吸着方法。
- 前記ゼオライト中のSi原子とAl原子との比(Si/Al)が10〜20であり、バリウムイオン交換率が100〜200%である請求項1に記載の二酸化炭素の吸着方法。
- 前記ゼオライトの結晶構造型がZSM−5型である請求項1又は2に記載の二酸化炭素の吸着方法。
- 二酸化炭素を吸着させる吸着材と該吸着材を収容する外包材とを備えてなる真空断熱材であって、前記吸着材がバリウムイオンで交換されたゼオライトからなり、前記外包材の内部の圧力が100Pa以下であることを特徴とする真空断熱材。
- 請求項4に記載の真空断熱材の製造方法であって、前記吸着材を前記外包材に収容する工程と、該外包材の内部の圧力が100Pa以下になるまで減圧する工程と、前記外包材の開口を封止する工程とを備えることを特徴とする真空断熱材の製造方法。
