Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の装置100は、レーザ光を出射する光源20と、レーザ光を情報記録媒体21に集光するレンズ6と、情報記録媒体21からの反射光を検出する光検出器19とを備える。情報記録媒体21の記録層は、温度の上昇に伴って、電子のバンド間遷移による光吸収スペクトルの吸収端が長波長に移動することにより、レーザ光の吸収率が増加する材料を含んでいる。本発明の装置100は、レーザ光の波長および波長変動の少なくとも一方を検出する波長検出部26と、情報記録媒体21またはその周囲の、温度および温度変化の少なくとも一方を検出する温度検出部27と、波長検出部26および温度検出部27それぞれの出力に基づいて光源20のパワーを制御する制御部28とをさらに備える。

- 記録層と中間層を交互に複数層備え、
前記記録層は、2.7≦x<3または3<x≦3.3を満たすBi2Ox、もしくはBi2Oxを主成分とする材料で主に形成された記録膜を含み、
前記記録膜は、Ge、Nb、Ta、Cu、Mo、W、Cr、Al、Si、Ir、Ni、Co、Ru、Rhのうちの少なくとも1つを添加物として含む、情報記録媒体。 - 前記添加物の量は、Biに対して、原子数比で1/44から1/9の間である、請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記記録層は、
前記記録膜より融点が高く、Sを含まない第1の誘電体膜と、
