表2に示す配合成分のうち硫黄および加硫促進剤を除いた成分を、密閉式バンバリーミキサーを用いて150℃で4分間混練した後、硫黄および加硫促進剤を加えて95℃で2分間さらに練り込み、従来法により製造例1〜6および比較製造例1〜7のゴム組成物を調製した。得られたゴム組成物を用いて以下に示す試験を行った。
JIS K6253「加硫ゴムおよび熱可塑性ゴムの硬さ試験方法」に準拠し、タイプAデュロメーターにてゴム硬度を測定した。結果を表2に示す。
粘弾性スペクトロメーターVES((株)岩本製作所製)を用いて、温度50℃、初期歪み10%、動歪み2%の条件下で各配合のtanδを測定し、比較製造例1のtanδを100として、下記計算式により指数表示した。指数が大きいほど転がり抵抗が低減される。結果を表2に示す。

得られたゴム組成物を150℃で30分間加硫成形し、厚さ2mm、15cm×15cmの試験片を作成し、ADVANTEST社製の電気抵抗測定R8340Aを用いて電圧500V、温度25℃、相対湿度50%の条件で体積固有抵抗値を測定した。結果を表2に示す。
表3の配合番号Fに示す配合成分および配合割合のゴム組成物を用いて体積固有抵抗が1×107Ω・cm以下の導電性ゴム層を作製し、これを図1のサイドウォール内側導電層9として用いた。なお、表3の配合番号Eに示す配合成分および配合割合のゴム組成物も調製し、製造例1と同じ方法により硬度および体積固有抵抗値を測定した。また、表4に示す配合成分および配合割合のゴム組成物をそれぞれ、体積固有抵抗が1×108Ω・cm以上のトレッド部1、ブレーカー2およびサイドウォール部3として、体積固有抵抗が1×107Ω・cm以下の通電部11およびクリンチ10として用いた。なお、これらのゴム組成物の体積固有抵抗値を製造例1と同じ方法により測定した。さらに、表5に示されるように、製造例1,2および比較製造例1,3で調製したゴム組成物(表2の配合番号A〜D)を用いて導電性ゴム層を作製し、これを図1のトレッド内側導電層12として用いた。
作製した空気入りタイヤを正規リムに装着し、規定内圧200kPaを充填して、STL社製の転がり抵抗試験機を用い、速度80km/h、荷重4.7kNで転がり抵抗を測定した。転がり抵抗の測定値を荷重で除した転がり抵抗係数(RRC)を、比較例1の値を100として、実施例1〜4、比較例2〜5の転がり抵抗を相対値として示した。値が大きいほど転がり抵抗が低減し、性能が向上する。結果を表5に示す。
作製した空気入りタイヤを正規リムに装着し、規定内圧200kPaを充填して、荷重4.7kNで鉄板にトレッド部を接地させ、印加電圧100Vにおいてタイヤリム部と鉄板との間の電気抵抗値を測定した。結果を表5に示す。

さらに、前記クリンチと接続し、前記カーカスと前記サイドウォール部との間に配置されたサイドウォール内側導電層と、前記サイドウォール内側導電層と接続し、前記ブレーカーと前記トレッド部との間に配置されたトレッド内側導電層と、前記トレッド内側導電層と接続し、前記トレッド部の表面に露出するように配置された通電部とを備え、前記トレッド内側導電層が0.6mm以上の厚さを有し、
前記トレッド部、前記ブレーカーおよび前記サイドウォール部を形成するゴムの体積固有抵抗値が、いずれも1×108Ω・cm以上であり、前記クリンチ、前記サイドウォール内側導電層、前記トレッド内側導電層および前記通電部を形成するゴムの体積固有抵抗値が、いずれも1×108Ω・cm未満であり、
