Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の一実施形態に係るパケット化システムは、エンコーダから受信されたデータストリームをピースにインデックスするパケット化システムであって、予め設定された時間間隔ごとに受信されたデータストリームに対してピースを生成するピース生成部を備えることを特徴とする。また、ピース生成部は、データストリームが受信されない時間間隔においては空ピースを生成してもよい。

Claims (11)
- エンコーダから受信されたデータストリームをピースにインデックスするパケット化システムにおいて、
予め設定された時間間隔ごとに前記受信されたデータストリームに対して前記ピースを生成するピース生成部を備えることを特徴とするパケット化システム。 - 前記ピース生成部は、前記データストリームが受信されない時間間隔においては空ピースを生成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパケット化システム。
- 前記生成されたピースは、クライアントのリクエストに応じてデリバリーサーバを介して前記クライアントに送信されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパケット化システム。
- 同時接続者の流入率を用いて決定される定数の現在の同時接続者数の比率に応じてサーバ使用量が調整されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のパケット化システム。
- 前記定数は、前記流入率が高いほど相対的に大きい値に決定され、前記流入率が低いほど相対的に小さい値に決定されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のパケット化システム。
- エンコーダから受信されたデータストリームをピースにインデックスするパケット化方法において、
予め設定された時間間隔ごとに前記受信されたデータストリームに対して前記ピースを生成するステップを含むことを特徴とするパケット化方法。 - 前記ピースを生成するステップは、前記データストリームが受信されない時間間隔においては空ピースを生成することを特徴とする請求項6に記載のパケット化方法。
- 前記生成されたピースは、クライアントのリクエストに応じてデリバリーサーバを介して前記クライアントに送信されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のパケット化方法。
- 同時接続者の流入率を用いて決定される定数の現在の同時接続者数の比率に応じてサーバ使用量が調整されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のパケット化方法。
- 前記定数は、前記流入率が高いほど相対的に大きい値に決定され、前記流入率が低いほど相対的に小さい値に決定されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のパケット化方法。
- 請求項6乃至請求項10のいずれか一項の方法を実行するプログラムを記録したコンピュータで読み出し可能な記録媒体。
