Description

The present invention relates to a floor-mounted air conditioner.

As a conventional wall-mounted air conditioner, there is one that guides indoor air to the sensor by an appropriate amount by attaching a humidity sensor to the front surface of a pipe cover attached to the side surface of the heat exchanger (for example, Patent Document 1 (summary)).

Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-96547

Patent document 1 discloses attaching a humidity sensor to the front surface of a pipe cover, but does not consider the treatment of condensed water in the pipe cover. In particular, in the case of an air conditioner in which the upper part of the heat exchanger is inclined to the front side, water droplets may adhere to the humidity sensor attached to the front surface of the pipe cover. In addition, depending on the mounting structure of the humidity sensor, the attached water droplets may drop.

In particular, an object of the present invention is to provide a floor-mounted air conditioner that can reliably process condensed water by a pipe cover attached to a heat exchanger whose upper part is inclined forward.

The floor-mounted air conditioner of the present invention includes a main body having a suction grille and a blow-out portion, and a heat exchanger that is located in the main body and is arranged so that the upper portion is inclined toward the front side of the main body and the lower portion is inclined toward the rear side of the main body. A condensate tray located below the heat exchanger, a pipe cover for guiding the condensed water dripped from the pipe located at the end of the heat exchanger to the condensate tray, and the indoor air heat-exchanged with the heat exchanger The pipe cover is located between the pipe and the front side of the main body, and the surface facing the pipe functions as a bowl so that the condensed water dripped from the pipe is condensed water. A notch hole is not formed on the surface of the pipe cover that faces the pipe and faces the pipe.

According to the present invention, in particular, it is possible to provide a floor-mounted air conditioner that can reliably process condensed water by a pipe cover attached to a heat exchanger whose upper part is inclined to the front surface.

Hereinafter, a first embodiment of a floor-mounted air conditioner according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing the appearance of the indoor unit. The indoor unit mainly includes a rear chassis 1 that ensures the rigidity of the main body, a front cover 2 and a suction grill 3 that form a design surface on the front surface of the indoor unit, and a blower outlet 4 that is disposed at the top of the indoor unit.

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the indoor unit with the front cover 2 and the suction grill 3 removed. A heat exchanger 6 is arranged on the front side in the indoor unit so as to face the suction grill 3. Further, pipe covers 5 a and 5 b are attached to the pipes at both ends of the heat exchanger 6.

FIG. 8 is a perspective view showing the structure of the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger 6 includes a pipe 14, fins 13, and a plate 16. A refrigerant flows through the pipe 14 of the heat exchanger 6, and the refrigerant and ambient air exchange heat. Here, at the time of cooling, the pipe 14 is cooled, and condensed water adheres to the surface of the pipe 14.

FIG. 9 is a perspective view showing a state in which a conventional pipe cover is attached to a pipe of a heat exchanger.

FIG. 3 is a sectional view of the indoor unit. The floor-mounted air conditioner of the present embodiment includes an air guide plate 10 that adjusts the wind direction, a heat exchanger 6 that exchanges heat between indoor air sucked from the suction grill 3, and an air intake disposed on the windward side of the heat exchanger 6. Filter 8 on the side, indoor fan 7 that is located on the rear side of the indoor unit and on the leeward side of the heat exchanger 6 and blows indoor air heat-exchanged by the heat exchanger 6 from the blow-out unit 4, and heat exchanger during cooling operation 6 includes a condensate tray 9 for collecting the condensate generated in 6 and discharging it to the outside of the indoor unit, and a rear chassis 1 for ensuring the rigidity of the main body.

Here, the heat exchanger 6 is disposed such that the upper part is inclined toward the front side of the indoor unit and the lower part is inclined toward the rear side of the indoor unit. Therefore, when condensed water adheres to the pipes 14 at both ends of the heat exchanger 6 during the cooling operation, since the heat exchanger 6 is inclined to the front side, the adhering condensed water is dripped directly downward in the vertical direction. Condensed water may not be collected in the condensate tray 9. For this reason, the pipe cover 5a and the pipe cover 5b are arrange | positioned in the front side of the pipe 14 of the heat exchanger 6 so that dripping of the condensed water from the pipe 14 of the heat exchanger 6 may be covered. The pipe cover 5 arranged in this manner is such that the back surface of the front surface 12 functions as a bowl with the pipe cover attached to the pipe of the heat exchanger, and the condensed water dripped from the pipe 14 is removed from the pipe cover. 5 is collected in the condensate tray 9.

FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing the structure of a conventional pipe cover, and FIG. 5 is a perspective view showing the structure of the pipe cover of this embodiment. The pipe cover 5 is fixed to the pipe 14 of the heat exchanger 6 by sandwiching the pipes 14 located at both ends of the heat exchanger 6 by the pipe cover mounting claws 11a. The pipe cover 5 and the pipe cover attachment claw 11a are made of resin shaped by injection molding.

In the structure of the conventional pipe cover shown in FIG. 4, in order to make the mold simpler, the mounting claw 11a of the pipe cover has a push-cut structure with a cavity and a core of an injection mold. However, in such a pipe cover structure, a notch hole corresponding to the attachment claw 11a of the pipe cover is formed in the surface 12 which becomes the front surface in a state where the pipe cover is attached to the pipe of the heat exchanger. However, as described above, the surface on the back side of the front surface 12 with the pipe cover attached to the pipe of the heat exchanger functions as a ridge, so that a notch hole corresponding to the attachment claw 11a of the pipe cover is formed. If this is done, the condensed water may drop in the vertical direction from the cutout hole.

FIG. 5 is a perspective view showing the structure of the pipe cover of this embodiment. The pipe cover 5 of the present embodiment does not form a notch hole as shown in FIG. 4 on the surface 12 which becomes the front surface in a state where the pipe cover is attached to the pipe of the heat exchanger. Since the front surface 12 with the pipe cover attached to the pipe of the heat exchanger is not provided with a notch hole, the condensed water adhering to the pipes 14 at both ends of the heat exchanger 6 during the cooling operation is removed from the notch hole. The condensed water is collected in the condensed water receiving tray 9 through the pipe cover 5 that functions as a trough without dripping. Note that such pipe cover attachment claws 11b can be formed by a mold structure using a slide.

As described above, according to the floor-mounted air conditioner of the present embodiment, the main body having the suction grille and the blow-out portion is located in the main body, the upper portion is inclined to the front side of the main body, and the lower portion is inclined to the rear side of the main body. A heat exchanger arranged to perform, a condensate receiver located below the heat exchanger, a pipe cover for guiding condensed water dropped from a pipe located at the end of the heat exchanger to the condensate receiver, A heat exchanger and an indoor fan that blows indoor air that has been heat-exchanged from the blowout part, and the pipe cover is located between the pipe and the front side of the main body, and the surface facing the pipe functions as a bowl The condensed water dripped from the pipe is guided to the condensed water receiving tray, and the notch hole is not formed on the surface of the pipe cover facing the pipe, so that the condensed water can be reliably treated by the pipe cover attached to the heat exchanger. Moreover, since the pipe cover is fixed to the pipe by the attachment claws formed on the surface facing the pipe sandwiching the pipe, the pipe cover can be fixed to the pipe with a simple configuration.

A second embodiment of the floor-mounted air conditioner of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. In this embodiment, the basic structure and functions of the pipe cover and the like are the same as those in the first embodiment, and thus detailed description thereof is omitted. In the present embodiment, the structure and the like of the mounting claw 17 of the pipe cover different from the first embodiment will be described in detail.

FIG. 6 is a plan view showing a state in which the pipe cover is attached. The heat exchanger 6 includes a pipe 14, fins 13, and a plate 16. A pipe 14 is inserted into the plate 16. The pipe 14 is expanded and fixed to the fin 13. Similar to the first embodiment, the pipe cover 15 is disposed so as to cover the front side and the side of the pipe 14 in order to prevent the condensed water from scattering from the pipe 14 of the heat exchanger 6. The pipe cover 15 is fixed to the pipe 14 of the heat exchanger 6 by inserting the pipe cover mounting claws 17 between the fins 13 and the plate 16. Details will be described later.

FIG. 7 is a perspective view showing the structure of the pipe cover. The attachment claw 17 of the pipe cover is positioned on the side surface with respect to the front surface 12 in a state where the pipe cover is attached to the pipe of the heat exchanger.

The pipe cover 15 is fixed to the pipe by inserting the pipe cover mounting claw 17 between the plate 16 and the fin 13 in the left-right direction and between the pipes continuous in the up-down direction. That is, in the left-right direction, the pipe cover mounting claws 17 are inserted and fixed between the plate 16 and the fins 13, so that displacement in the left-right direction can be suppressed. Further, in the vertical direction, the upper and lower pipes are inserted and fixed between the lower end of the upper pipe and the upper end of the lower pipe, so that the positional deviation in the vertical direction can be suppressed.

In addition, the tip of the attachment claw 17 of the pipe cover is formed in a mountain shape so that it can be easily inserted between the plate 16 and the fin 13 and between the pipes that are vertically continuous. In addition, an opening is formed so as to penetrate through the attachment claw 17 of the pipe cover so that it can be easily inserted and fixed between pipes that are continuous vertically using elastic force. A recess 18 is formed on the top and bottom of the mounting claw 17 of the pipe cover so that it can be easily fixed after being inserted between pipes that are vertically continuous.

By adopting such a structure of the pipe cover attachment claws 17, the pipe cover attachment claws 17 can be easily inserted between the plate 16 and the fins 13 and between the pipes that are vertically continuous. In addition, it is easy to form the attachment claw 17 of the pipe cover.

As described above, according to the floor-mounted air conditioner of the present embodiment, the condensed water can be reliably treated by the pipe cover attached to the heat exchanger as in the first embodiment. The pipe cover also has a mounting claw formed so as to face the pipe from the side of the surface facing the pipe, and the mounting claw is inserted between the fin and plate of the heat exchanger and between the pipes continuous in the vertical direction. By doing so, the pipe cover is fixed to the pipe, so that the attachment claw of the pipe cover can be easily inserted between the plate and the fin and between the pipes that are vertically continuous with a simple configuration. Further, the mounting claw is formed in a mountain shape at the tip, has an opening penetrating through the inside, and has a recessed portion at a position facing the pipe, so that the mounting claw of the pipe cover is between the plate and the fin, and It is easy to insert and fix between pipes that are continuous vertically.
