Abstract
【解決手段】2次電池からの電力供給を受けて作動する電動モータと、2次電池の電圧を検出する電圧検出手段と、電圧検出手段による2次電池の検出電圧と判定値との比較に基づいて異常判定を行う判定手段と、判定手段の判定結果に対応する制御を含む電動モータの作動制御を行う制御手段とを備えたモータ装置であって、制御回路にて実施される2次電池の異常判定は、検出した使用環境温度に応じた判定値V1,V2のいずれかに変更して実施される。

また上記構成において、前記判定手段は、前記判定値を2つ有し、その2つの判定値を切り替えて判定を行うことが好ましい。
図1は、本実施形態におけるモータ装置としての電動工具10を示す。電動工具10は、例えばドリルドライバーやディスクグラインダー等であり、電動モータMを駆動源とした電動工具本体11と、該電動工具本体11に対して着脱可能に装着される電池パック21とを備えている。
ステップS1にて電池パック21の装着状態を検出し、ステップS2にて操作スイッチ12のオン操作を検出すると、ステップS3にて使用環境温度の温度検出を行い、ステップS4にて2次電池22の電圧検出を行う。
(1)制御回路16にて実施される2次電池22の異常判定は、検出した使用環境温度に応じた判定値V1,V2のいずれかに変更して実施されている。つまり、使用環境温度に応じた判定値V1,V2を用いることで、その温度変化による電動モータMの無駄な停止が防止され、電動工具10の作動可能範囲を安定して得ることができる。特に本実施形態のように、使用環境温度が変動し易い電動工具10に適用する意義は大である。
・上記実施形態では、2次電池22の異常判定に2つの判定値V1,V2を用いたが、3以上の判定値を用いてもよく、また使用環境温度の変化に応じてリニアに変化する判定値を用いてもよい。
・上記実施形態では、モータ装置として電動工具10に適用したが、他のモータ装置に適用してもよい。
Claims (5)
- 2次電池からの電力供給を受けて作動する電動モータと、前記2次電池の電圧を検出する電圧検出手段と、前記電圧検出手段による2次電池の検出電圧と判定値との比較に基づいて異常判定を行う判定手段と、前記判定手段の判定結果に対応する制御を含む前記電動モータの作動制御を行う制御手段とを備えたモータ装置であって、
使用環境温度を検出する温度検出手段を備えるものであり、
前記判定手段は、前記温度検出手段による検出温度に応じた前記判定値に変更し、その判定値に基づいて前記異常判定を実施することを特徴とするモータ装置。 - 請求項1に記載のモータ装置において、
前記判定手段は、起動指令直後の前記電動モータの作動直前状態において前記異常判定の最初の判定を実施するものであり、その判定の際に用いる前記判定値に変更前の標準判定値を用いて判定を行うことを特徴とするモータ装置。 - 請求項1又は2に記載のモータ装置において、
前記判定手段は、前記温度検出手段による検出温度が低温側で前記判定値を低く設定したものを用いて判定を行うことを特徴とするモータ装置。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のモータ装置において、
前記判定手段は、前記判定値を2つ有し、その2つの判定値を切り替えて判定を行うことを特徴とするモータ装置。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のモータ装置にて構成されたことを特徴とする電動工具。
