A medical image processing apparatus comprising: a parameter value changing unit that changes the parameter value according to a rotation angle and a rotation direction of a locus of the pointer moved by the pointing device with respect to a reference point.   The medical image processing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the parameter value changing unit further changes the parameter value by weighting according to a distance from the reference point to the pointer.
