Abstract
【解決手段】非水電解質二次電池は、金属スズを電極に用いた非水電解質二次電池であって、充電時における電極の電位がLi/Li+基準で0.2V以上である。

Description
金属スズを電極(負極)として用いて、図1に示すようなコイン型非水電解質二次電池を作製した。
充放電サイクル試験時の充放電範囲を0.3Vから1.0Vとした以外は、実施例1と同様にしてコイン型非水電解質二次電池1を作製し、作製されたコイン型非水電解質二次電池1を用いて充放電サイクル試験を行った。
充放電サイクル試験時の充放電範囲を0.1Vから1.0Vとした以外は、実施例1と同様にしてコイン型非水電解質二次電池1を作製し、作製されたコイン型非水電解質二次電池1を用いて充放電サイクル試験を行った。
電解メッキにより厚みが10μmの銅箔上にスズめっき膜を6μmの厚みで形成した。この銅箔を直径14mmの円形に打ち抜くことにより、負極15を作製した。

Claims (9)
- 金属スズを電極に用いた非水電解質二次電池であって、
充電時における前記電極の電位がLi/Li+基準で0.2V以上である、非水電解質二次電池。 - リチウムを含む物質を正極、金属スズを負極に用いた非水電解質二次電池であって、
充電時における前記負極の電位がLi/Li+基準で0.2V以上である、非水電解質二次電池。 - リチウム遷移金属複合酸化物を正極に用いた、請求項2に記載の非水電解質二次電池。
- 前記リチウム遷移金属複合酸化物が組成式Li1+αNixMnyCozMeβO2(ただし、α、β、x、yおよびzは−1<α≦0.5、0≦β<0.3、0<x<1、0<y<1、0<z<1、x+y+z=1を満たし、MeはNi、Mn、Co以外の金属元素である)で表わされる層状岩塩構造を有する材料である、請求項3に記載の非水電解質二次電池。
- 充電時における電池電圧が4.1V以下である、請求項4に記載の非水電解質二次電池。
- 前記負極が、リチウムと合金化しない金属箔上に形成された金属スズである、請求項2から請求項5までのいずれか1項に記載の非水電解質二次電池。
- 前記負極が、銅箔上に形成された、密度が6g/cm3以上である金属スズである、請求項6に記載の非水電解質二次電池。
- リチウムを含む物質を正極、金属スズを負極に用いた非水電解質二次電池の充電方法であって、
充電時における前記負極の電位がLi/Li+基準で0.2V以上である、非水電解質二次電池の充電方法。 - リチウム遷移金属複合酸化物を正極に用いて、充電時における電池電圧が4.1V以下である、請求項8に記載の非水電解質二次電池の充電方法。
