Abstract
Description
・送信機は、次の伝送のために利用可能なアンテナに対するPABフィールドにバイナリ"1"を設定したM-RTSフレームを送信する。
・直後に、受信機がM-RTSフレーム及び利用可能なアンテナを既に読んだ場合、送信機は、チャネル推定のために、各々の利用可能なアンテナのためのトレーニングシーケンスを送信する。あるいは、チャネル推定は、M-RTSフレームと並列に実行される。
・受信機は、チャネルを推定して、伝送に用いられるべきアンテナのためにCABフィールドにバイナリ"1"を設定したM-CTSフレームで応答する。MIMOスキームは、ステーションのハードウェア機能、接続のサービス品質(QoS)要求、無線伝播条件及びネットワークの現在のステータスのうちの少なくとも1つに基づいて選択されることができる。受信機がどのようにアンテナを選択するかは、その内部手続きであることができる。フレーム単位ベースのネットワーク運用の間に適用されるMIMOスキームを選択するこの手順は、高速リンク適応を提供する。
・M-CTSフレームの受信の後、送信機は、用いられるべきアンテナについての受信機の指示に基づいて、各々別のアンテナを用いて、(一つ以上の)パケットを送信する。
・データフレームの受信の後、受信機は、受信されたパケットの正しさを確認し、送信の結果を送信機に通知するために、拡張されたM-ACKフレームを生成することができる。正しく受信されたパケットのためにM-ACKビットマップにバイナリ"1"が設定される。
・送信機は、M-ACKフレームを受信すると、キューからそのパケットを削除し、他の伝送を開始する。M-ACKフレームが失われた場合、又はそれが全く送信されなかった場合、タイムアウトの後、送信機はデータを再送信する。
ここで、aSIFStimeはSIFSの継続時間であり、aRIFStimeはRIFSの継続時間である。さらに、T(MU MIMO frame)は、MU MIMO送信機のスケジューラによって計算されるMU MIMOフレームの推定継続時間である。そのようなスケジューラの動作は、各々の個々の実施態様による。
Claims (27)
- 複数の他の伝送端へのマルチユーザ伝送を実行する送信装置であって、
前記複数の他の伝送端に伝送のための要求(Request for transmission)を放送し、
前記要求に応答することを要求される他の伝送端の少なくとも2つの識別情報のリストを含む媒体アクセス制御MACフレームを前記要求に提供する、送信装置。 - 前記伝送のための要求に応答した他の伝送端のうちの少なくとも一つ行きのパケットのみから伝送フレームを作成する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記識別情報がMACアドレスからなる請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記他の伝送端は、送信する意図を示す送信要求(Sending Request)を返信するようにアドレス指定される候補送信機である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- チャネル状況により前記候補送信機のためのチャネル推定を実行し、どの送信機がどのビーム形成ベクトルによってチャネルにアクセスできるかを示す送信承認により前記送信要求に応答する、請求項4に記載の装置。
- チャネル状態情報をフィードバックすることを要求するために前記伝送のための要求を使用し、前記他の伝送端から受信されたチャネル状態フィードバック情報に基づいて前記他の伝送端のチャネル状況を評価し、前記他の伝送端のための適切なビーム形成ベクトルを導出するように構成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記伝送のための要求が、要求された前記チャネル状態フィードバック情報のために用いられるべきフォーマットを特定する情報を含む、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 受信された伝送の発信元である他の伝送端を示すMACフレームを送信することによって、伝送の受信に肯定応答する、請求項6又は請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記MACフレームに設けられるビットマップ中のそれぞれのビットを設定することにより、受信された前記伝送の発信元である前記他の伝送端を示す、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 他の伝送端及び当該他の伝送端のための適切なビーム形成ベクトルのリストを含む送信要求フレームを放送する、請求項6から請求項9のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 予期される伝送全体の予測される継続時間を示す継続時間情報を前記伝送のための要求に加える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 多重入力チェーン及び多重出力チェーンのうちの少なくとも一方を備えるマルチユーザトランシーバを有する、請求項1から請求項11のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- マルチユーザ伝送信号を受信するための受信装置であって、
伝送のための要求を受信し、
前記伝送のための要求によって提供される媒体アクセス制御MACフレーム中の少なくとも2つの受信機識別情報のリストを検出し、
前記リストが当該装置の識別情報を含む場合、前記伝送のための要求に応答する装置。 - チャネル状態情報を含むチャネルフィードバックフレームと共に前記伝送のための要求に応答する、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 前記リスト中の識別情報の順序に基づいて応答のタイミングを導出する、請求項13又は請求項14に記載の装置。
- 送信キュー中のデータの量を示す継続時間情報を前記応答に含める、請求項13から請求項15のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記リストが当該装置の識別情報を含まない場合、前記伝送のための要求に提供される継続時間フィールドの内容に従ってネットワーク割り当てベクトルを設定する、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 前記伝送のための要求に提供される継続時間フィールドを用いて、応答のための待機時間を計算する、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 集合MACパケットデータユニットとサウンディングフィードバック機構とを組み合わせることにより応答する、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 応答のためにマルチユーザ伝送信号の副搬送波の割り当てられたサブセットを使用する、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 前記リスト中の識別情報の順序から前記割り当てられたサブセットを導出する、請求項20に記載の装置。
- 前記要求の受信後予め定められた時間で応答する、請求項20に記載の装置。
- 多重入力チェーン及び多重出力チェーンのうちの少なくとも一方を備えるマルチユーザトランシーバを有する、請求項13から請求項22のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 第1伝送端と複数の第2伝送端との間のマルチユーザ伝送を実行するための方法であって、
前記マルチユーザ伝送に応答することを要求される受信端の少なくとも2つの識別情報のリストを媒体アクセス制御MACフレームに組み込み、
前記複数の第2伝送端への伝送のための要求において、前記リストを含む前記MACフレームを放送する、方法。 - 少なくとも1つの請求項1に記載の送信装置及び少なくとも1つの請求項13に記載の受信装置を有するマルチユーザ伝送システム。
