【解決手段】軸体2と、軸体2の外周面に形成された弾性層3と、前記弾性層3の外周面に形成された導電性コート層4と、前記導電性コート層4の外周面でアミノアミノシランカップリング剤を硬化してなるコート層5とを備えて成り、前記導電性コート層4の厚さ(Tu:μm)と前記コート層5の厚さ(Ts:μm)が下記条件(1)及び(2)を満たすことを特徴とする導電性ローラ1、及び、この導電性ローラを備えた画像形成装置。
(1) 9≦Tu(μm)≦27
(2) 5.0≦(Tu/Ts)≦9.5

Description
請求項1は、軸体と、軸体の外周面に形成された弾性層と、前記弾性層の外周面に形成された導電性コート層と、前記導電性コート層の外周面でアミノシランカップリング剤を硬化してなるコート層とを備えて成り、
前記導電性コート層の厚さ(Tu:μm)と前記コート層の厚さ(Ts:μm)が下記条件(1)及び(2)を満たすことを特徴とする導電性ローラであり、
(1) 9≦Tu(μm)≦27
(2) 5.0≦(Tu/Ts)≦9.5
請求項2は、前記コート層の厚さ(Ts)は、1.5μm以上4.5μm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の導電性ローラであり、
請求項3は、請求項1又は2に記載の導電性ローラを備えた画像形成装置である。
(1) RnSiO(4−n)/2
(前記平均組成式(1)において、Rは、同一又は異なっていてもよい、置換又は非置換の一価炭化水素基、好ましくは炭素原子数1〜12、より好ましくは炭素原子数1〜8の一価炭化水素基であり、nは1.95〜2.05の正数である。)
無電解ニッケルメッキ処理が施された軸体2(SUM22製、直径7.5mm、長さ281.5mm)をトルエンで洗浄し、その表面にシリコーン系プライマー(商品名「プライマーNo.16」、信越化学工業株式会社製)を塗布した。プライマー処理した軸体を、ギヤオーブンを用いて、150℃の温度にて10分焼成処理した後、常温にて30分以上冷却し、軸体2の表面にプライマー層を形成した。
導電性コート層4の厚さ(Tu)及び/又はコート層5の厚さ(Ts)を第1表に記載の厚さに調整した以外は、実施例1と同様にして、導電性ローラを製造した。
次いで、各導電性ローラそれぞれを4本準備し、図3に示されるタンデム型カラー画像形成装置(商品名「JUSTIO HL−4040CN」、ブラザー工業株式会社製)において、現像剤担持体23B、23C、23M及び23Yとして、配設した。なお、現像剤及び現像剤規制部材は、このタンデム型カラー画像形成装置に付属の現像剤及び現像剤規制部材を用いた。

Claims (3)
- 軸体と、軸体の外周面に形成された弾性層と、前記弾性層の外周面に形成された導電性コート層と、前記導電性コート層の外周面でアミノシランカップリング剤を硬化してなるコート層とを備えて成り、
前記導電性コート層の厚さ(Tu:μm)と前記コート層の厚さ(Ts:μm)が下記条件(1)及び(2)を満たすことを特徴とする導電性ローラ。
(1) 9≦Tu(μm)≦27
(2) 5.0≦(Tu/Ts)≦9.5 - 前記コート層の厚さ(Ts)は、1.5μm以上4.5μm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の導電性ローラ。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の導電性ローラを備えた画像形成装置。
