A vehicle fuel gas detection device is shown in FIG. In FIG. 5, 101 is a vehicle, 102 is a floor panel, 103 is a passenger compartment, and 104 is a storage space. The vehicle 101 is provided with a vehicle compartment 103 on the upper side of the floor panel 102 at the rear of the vehicle, and with a storage space 104 for fuel gas tanks 106 and 107 described later on the lower side.
The fuel cell system 105 of the vehicle 101 includes a fuel cell mounted in a front room at the front of the vehicle, and stores two fuel gas tanks 106 and 107 in a storage space 104 below the floor panel 102 at the rear of the vehicle. 107 is fixedly attached to the lower surface 108 of the floor panel 102 from below. The fuel cell system 105 supplies hydrogen gas, which is a fuel gas, from the fuel gas tanks 106 and 107 to the fuel cell through a fuel gas pipe, and generates electricity.
The vehicle 101 is provided with a vehicle fuel gas detection device 109 that detects fuel gas leaked from the fuel cell system 105. The vehicle fuel gas detection device 109 includes a gas sensor 110 that is fuel gas detection means for detecting fuel gas. The gas sensor 110 is provided with a detection portion 112 in a main body 111, and the main body 111 is attached to the lower surface 108 of the floor panel 102 above the fuel gas tanks 106 and 107 from below.

JP 2007-274786 A

By the way, in the conventional vehicle fuel gas detection device 109 shown in FIG. 5, it is necessary to detect the fuel gas effectively when the fuel gas leaks from the fuel gas tanks 106 and 107 or the fuel gas piping. For this reason, conventionally, the gas sensor 110 is attached to the lower surface 108 of the floor panel 102 from the lower side, directly or via a fixing bracket, as high as possible on the floor panel 102 above the fuel gas tanks 106 and 107.
However, the conventional vehicle fuel gas detection device 109 is attached to the lower surface 108 of the floor panel 102 above the fuel gas tanks 106 and 107 in a state where the fuel gas tanks 106 and 107 are attached to the lower surface 108 of the floor panel 102. When accessing the gas sensor 110, the fuel gas tanks 106 and 107 are obstructed, making access very difficult.
For this reason, the conventional fuel gas detection device 109 for vehicles has a problem of deteriorating the exchangeability when the gas sensor 110 fails, and the hydrogen gas of the fuel gas is supplied to the detection portion 112 for the operation check of the gas sensor 110. The work of spraying and the like also had a difficult problem. Further, in the conventional vehicle fuel gas detection device 109, even if the gas sensor 110 is mounted at the highest position on the lower surface 108 of the floor panel 102, the detection portion 112 of the gas sensor 110 is at a lower position by the thickness of the main body 111 at least. Therefore, there has been a problem that it is difficult to detect effectively when the fuel gas leaks.

According to the present invention, in a vehicle fuel gas detection device, maintenance including replacement of the fuel gas detection means itself can be easily performed, the reliability of the fuel gas detection means is improved, and the accuracy of the leaked fuel gas is high. The purpose is to enable detection.

The present invention includes a fuel cell system having a fuel cell mounted on a vehicle and a fuel gas tank for supplying fuel gas to the fuel cell, and further includes fuel gas detection means for detecting fuel gas leaked from the fuel cell system. In the vehicle fuel gas detection device, the fuel gas tank is fixedly attached to the lower surface of the floor panel of the vehicle from below, and a hole is formed in the vicinity of the fuel gas tank of the floor panel to which the fuel gas tank is fixed. The detection means is attached to the upper surface of the floor panel in which the hole is formed from the upper side.

In the fuel gas detection device for a vehicle according to the present invention, when the fuel gas detection means itself is provided, the fuel gas detection means itself can be operated by accessing the fuel gas detection means on the upper surface of the floor panel from above. It is possible to easily perform maintenance including replacement.
Further, the vehicle fuel gas detection device of the present invention accidentally breaks the fuel gas detection means on the upper side of the floor panel when the fuel system parts including the fuel gas tank on the lower side of the floor panel are accessed and replaced. Since the possibility is low, it is possible to increase the reliability of the fuel gas detection means.
Furthermore, since the fuel gas detection means for a vehicle according to the present invention has the fuel gas detection means attached at a position above the fuel gas tank where the most leaked fuel gas is likely to accumulate, highly accurate detection is possible.

In order to facilitate maintenance, improve the reliability of the fuel gas detection means, and enable highly accurate detection of leaked fuel gas, a hole is formed in the floor panel near the fuel gas tank.
1 to 4 show an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 1 is a sectional view of a floor panel at the rear of the vehicle, FIG. 2 is a plan view with the floor panel at the rear of the vehicle removed, and FIG. 3 is an assembled state of the gas sensor. FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the electrical component with the cover removed. In FIG. 1, 1 is a vehicle, 2 is a floor panel, 3 is a passenger compartment, and 4 is a storage space.
The vehicle 1 is provided with a vehicle compartment 3 on the upper side of the floor panel 2 at the rear of the vehicle, and with a storage space 4 for fuel gas tanks 10 and 11 described later on the lower side. As shown in FIG. 2, the storage space 4 includes, on the lower side of the floor panel 2, left and right rear side members 5, 6, a cross member 7 that connects the front sides of the rear side members 5, 6, 6 is surrounded by a rear bumper member 8 connected at the rear end.
The vehicle 1 is provided with a fuel cell system 9. The fuel cell system 9 has a fuel cell mounted in the front room at the front of the vehicle, and as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a substantially cylindrical fuel gas tank 10 is provided in the storage space 4 below the floor panel 2 at the rear of the vehicle. 11 is stored, and the fuel gas tanks 10 and 11 are attached and fixed to the lower surface 12 of the floor panel 2 from below by a fixing member.
As shown in FIG. 2, the fuel gas tanks 10 and 11 are arranged side by side so as to be parallel to each other in the front-rear direction of the vehicle 1 with the longitudinal direction directed to the left-right direction of the vehicle 1. In order to supply the fuel gas to the fuel cell, the fuel gas tanks 10 and 11 are provided with valves 13 and 14 at the left end of the vehicle 1 and connected to a filling system fuel gas pipe 15 for filling the fuel gas. The supply system fuel gas pipe 16 is connected, and the supply system fuel gas pipe 16 is provided with regulators 17 and 18 for pressure reduction. The filling fuel gas pipe 15, the supply fuel gas pipe 16, and the regulators 17 and 18 are arranged on the left side of the vehicle 1.
The fuel cell system 9 supplies hydrogen gas, which is a fuel gas, from the fuel gas tanks 10 and 11 to the fuel cell through the supply system fuel gas pipe 16 via the regulators 17 and 18 to generate electricity.

The vehicle 1 is provided with a vehicle fuel gas detection device 19 that detects fuel gas leaked from the fuel cell system 9. The vehicle fuel gas detection device 19 includes a gas sensor 20 as fuel gas detection means for detecting hydrogen gas of the fuel gas. The gas sensor 20 includes a detection part 22 in a main body 21. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the floor panel 2 to which the two fuel gas tanks 10 and 11 are fixed has a lower surface on the left side of the vehicle 1 near the valve 14 of the fuel gas tank 11 on the rear side. A hole 24 penetrating from 12 to the upper surface 23 is formed. The gas sensor 20 is attached from above to the upper surface 23 of the floor panel 2 in which holes 24 are formed.
As a result, when the gas sensor 20 itself is serviced, the vehicle fuel gas detection device 19 can access the gas sensor 20 on the upper surface 23 of the floor panel 2 from the upper side to perform an operation. It is possible to easily perform maintenance including
The vehicle fuel gas detection device 19 includes fuel system parts including a fuel gas tank 10 and 11 fixed to the lower surface 12 of the floor panel 2 (filling fuel gas piping 15, supply fuel gas piping 16, regulator). In the case where the gas sensor 20 attached to the upper surface 23 of the floor panel 2 is accidentally damaged when accessing and exchanging it, the reliability of the gas sensor 20 can be improved.
Further, the vehicle fuel gas detection device 19 has the detection part 22 of the gas sensor 20 positioned above the lower surface 12 of the floor panel 2, and the gas sensor 20 is located above the fuel gas tanks 10 and 11 at the position where the fuel gas is most likely to accumulate. Because of this, it is possible to detect the leaked fuel gas with high accuracy.

The gas sensor 20 is attached via a seal member 25 as shown in FIG. The seal member 25 is formed in an annular shape and includes a through hole 26. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 3, bosses 28 and 28 protruding above the fixing bracket 27 are applied to the lower surface 12 of the floor panel 2 so as not to block the holes 24, and the upper surface 23 of the floor panel 2 is applied. The annular seal member 25 is applied so that the through hole 26 coincides with the hole 24, and the detection part 22 of the gas sensor 20 is made to coincide with the through hole 26 of the seal member 25 and the main body 21 is applied. From this state, the fastening screws 29 and 29 are inserted into the through holes 30 and 30 of the main body 21 of the gas sensor 20 and the through holes 31 and 31 of the floor panel 2 and screwed to the bosses 28 and 28 of the fixing bracket 26. Thus, the gas sensor 20 is attached to the upper surface 23 of the floor panel 2 via the seal member 25.
As a result, the vehicle fuel gas detection device 19 can prevent the leaked fuel gas from entering the vehicle compartment 3, so that the reliability equivalent to that when the gas sensor 20 is provided outside the vehicle compartment 3 can be obtained. It is possible to provide.

As shown in FIG. 4, an electrical component 28 is provided adjacent to the gas sensor 20 on the upper surface 23 of the floor panel 2, and a cover 33 that covers the gas sensor 20 and the electrical component 32 integrally is attached. The electrical component 32 includes a capacitor 32A, a main switch 32B, an auxiliary battery 32C, and the like, and is disposed adjacent to the gas sensor 20 disposed on the left side of the vehicle 1 so as to extend in the left-right direction of the vehicle 1. The cover 33 includes a right cover portion 33R and a left cover portion 33L, which are integrally connected to each other in the left-right direction of the vehicle 1 that hangs from the front, rear, left, and right edges of the long square top plate portion. It is formed in the shape of a long lidless bottomless square lid, and covers and attaches the gas sensor 20, the capacitor 32A of the electrical component 32, the main switch 32B, and the auxiliary battery 32C.
As a result, the vehicle fuel gas detection device 19 is covered with the single cover 33 together with the capacitor 32A, the main switch 32B, and the auxiliary battery 32C of the electrical component 32 around which the gas sensor 20 is disposed. Can be protected, and the number of parts can be reduced.
In addition, since the gas sensor 20 and the electrical component 32 are covered with a single cover 33, the vehicle fuel gas detection device 19 cannot be easily touched by an occupant. It is possible to improve the reliability of the gas sensor 20 that accurately measures whether or not the gas leaks.
