Description
本願は、2006年6月19日出願の米国仮特許出願第60/814718号の優先権を主張する。
一実施形態によれば、本発明は、光源と、光変調器と、多セグメント化光検出器と、支持電子回路とを含む位置変換器を提供する。この変換器は、光源から隣接検出器の互いに異なるセグメントへの放出放射線を反射によって変調することにより動作する。位置変換器は、回転制限モータに使用することができ、このような回転制限モータは、たとえば、高速表面形状測定など、様々なレーザ走査適用例で使用することができる。他のレーザ加工適用例には、レーザ溶接(たとえば高速スポット溶接)、表面処理、切断、穴あけ、マーキング、トリミング、レーザ修理、ラピッドプロトタイピング、微細構造の形成、または様々な材料でのナノ構造の高密度アレイの形成などが含まれる。さらなる諸実施形態においては、本発明は、基準入力走査およびたとえば米国特許第5252923号の図1および関連する本文に開示されている共焦点顕微鏡法を含めた他の適用例に使用することができる。同特許では、そこに示されている対物レンズ12、物体平面14、像平面16、レーザ光源18、走査レンズ20、検出器26、およびラスタ走査ディスプレイ40を含む。
Claims (20)
- 回転制限モータ用の位置変換器システムであって、
前記回転制限モータの回転子とともに回転する照明反射器に照明を向ける照明源と、
前記照明源に隣接し、前記照明反射器からの変調された反射照明を受ける複数の検出器区域と、を備える位置変換器システム。 - 請求項1に記載の位置変換器システムにおいて、前記照明源が、単一のLED光源を含む位置変換器システム。
- 請求項1に記載の位置変換器システムにおいて、前記照明反射器が、交互鏡面反射照明吸収領域を含む、位置変換器システム。
- 請求項3に記載の位置変換器システムにおいて、前記照明反射器が、3組の鏡面反射領域と3組の吸収領域を含む、位置変換器システム。
- 請求項1に記載の位置変換器システムにおいて、前記複数の検出器区域が、複数対の相補隣接検出器領域を含む、位置変換器システム。
- 請求項5に記載の位置変換器システムにおいて、前記複数の検出器区域が、3対の相補隣接検出器領域を含み、前記各検出器領域の出力が平均されて相対位置情報を与える、位置変換器システム。
- 請求項1に記載の位置変換器システムにおいて、前記照明源が、前記照明源を囲む前記複数の検出器区域とほぼ同一面にある位置変換器システム。
- 請求項1に記載の位置変換器システムにおいて、走査システムに結合されている位置変換器システム。
- 請求項1に記載の位置変換器システムにおいて、レーザ穴あけシステムに結合されている位置変換器システム。
- 請求項1に記載の位置変換器システムにおいて、レーザ・マーキング・システムに結合されている位置変換器システム。
- 請求項1に記載の位置変換器システムにおいて、基板機械加工システムに結合されている位置変換器システム。
- 請求項1に記載の位置変換器システムにおいて、レーザ・トリミング・システムに結合されている位置変換器システム。
- 回転制限モータ用の位置変換器システムであって、
前記回転制限モータの回転子とともに回転する照明反射器に照明を向ける照明源と、
前記照明源とほぼ同一面にあり前記照明源を囲みかつ前記照明反射器からの変調された反射照明を受ける複数組の機能的に相補な検出器区域対と、
を備える位置変換器システム。 - 請求項13に記載の位置変換器システムにおいて、前記複数組の機能的に相補な検出器区域対が、複数組の検出器区域の各対の第1検出器出力の平均を表す第1平均出力信号を提供し、複数組の検出器区域の各対の第2検出器出力の平均を表す第2平均出力信号を提供する出力回路に結合される、位置変換器システム。
- 請求項13に記載の位置変換器システムにおいて、前記照明反射器が、3つの相互に離隔された鏡面反射面を含み、前記複数組の機能的に相補な検出器区域対が、3対の検出器区域を含む位置変換器システム。
- 請求項13に記載の位置変換器システムにおいて、走査システムに結合される位置変換器システム。
- 回転制限モータシステム内で相対位置信号を提供する方法であって、照明源からの照明を前記回転制限モータの回転子とともに回転する照明反射器に向けるステップと、前記照明源とほぼ同一面にあり前記照明源を囲む複数組の機能的に相補な検出器区域対において前記照明反射器からの変調反射照明を受けるステップとを含む方法。
- 請求項17に記載の方法において、複数組の検出器区域の各対の第1検出器出力の平均を表す第1平均出力信号を提供するステップをさらに含む方法。
- 請求項18に記載の方法において、複数組の検出器区域の各対の第2検出器出力の平均を代表する第2平均出力信号を提供するステップをさらに含む方法。
- 請求項17に記載の方法において、第1平均出力信号および第2平均出力信号に応答するミラー位置制御信号を調整するステップをさらに含む方法。
