Abstract
Description
Lawsonia inermis(INCI:HENNA)の乾燥粉末を以後ヘンナと呼ぶ。ヘンナ単独または他の植物粉末の混合粉末と水との使用が一般的である。しかし、これでは、白髪が思う様な髪色になりにくい。従って、これらに、パラーフェニレンジアミン、アミノフェノール、フェニレンジアミン等を配合して染毛性をあげているものがあるが、これは、皮膚のかぶれの危険性が大きく問題である。化粧品に用いられる植物染料はすでに多く知られ、ログウッドエキス、シコンエキス、ウコンエキス、葉緑素、クルミエキス、シコンエキス等々の組み合わせで行われている。しかし、白髪染めに満足するものは無い。
ヘンナの染色力はすでに公知の事実である。しかし、白髪への染毛性に関しては満足の得られるものが得られていない。合成の染毛料を併用せず、天然原料の組み合わせで黒く染毛することが出来ることは有意義なことである。The dry powder of Lawsonia inertis (INCI: HENNA) is hereinafter referred to as henna.
