印刷時の記録用紙の搬送方向における印刷手段の上流側と下流側にそれぞれ、ベルクランク状の一対のローラ支持部材がそのコーナー部に形成された回動支持部を揺動中心としてシャーシに揺動自在に配設され、前記ローラ支持部材の下端部が弾性部材によって前記印刷手段の配設方向と反対側へ弾性付勢されることにより、前記一対のローラ支持部材の上端部間に支承した圧接ローラを前記シャーシ間に配設された紙送りローラに押圧可能とする紙送り手段が配設され、
前記記録用紙の搬送方向における上流側に配設された紙送り手段の上流側または前記記録用紙の搬送方向における下流側に配設された紙送り手段の下流側のいずれか一方に、前記シャーシ間に支承された駆動軸を、駆動源の駆動力により所定角度回転させることで、各紙送り手段におけるローラ支持部材を前記弾性部材の付勢力に抗して揺動させ、紙送りローラに対する圧接ローラの圧接をそれぞれ解除する圧接解除機構が配設されたことを特徴とする紙送り機構。
