両側部を搬送クレーンの昇降吊機構で支持した昇降吊水平ビームと、昇降吊ビームの両側各々に開閉リンクを介してクロスリンクを軸支したトング本体と、昇降吊水平ビームの中央部に昇降離間可能に吊支持されトング本体の開閉用軸を装着したトング開閉支持ビームと、トング開閉支持ビームに昇降駆動可能に設けトングの先端挟持位置を決めるスラブ表面倣装置とからなるスラブトング装置において、
