Description
Claims (22)
- 光ファイバコネクタであって、
長手方向に延びるキャビティを画定する内面を備え、前記キャビティと連通状態にある前方開口部と、前記キャビティと連通状態にある後方開口部とを更に備えたハウジングと、
前記ハウジングの前記前方開口部を通って前記キャビティに挿入されたばね要素と、
前記ハウジングの後方開口部を通って前記キャビティに挿入されたフェルールホルダと、
前記ハウジングに作動的に結合されたトリガ部材とを備え、
前記トリガ部材は、前記ハウジングを前記フェルールホルダに対して前方へ付勢する少なくとも1つの付勢部材を有する、
ことを特徴とする光ファイバコネクタ。 - 前記トリガ部材は、前記フェルールホルダに対して長手方向に摺動する、
請求項1に記載の光ファイバコネクタ。 - 前記トリガ部材は、
第1の要素と、
前記第1の要素から延び、前記ハウジングに係合する少なくとも1つのスナップ部材とを有する、
請求項1に記載の光ファイバコネクタ。 - 前記トリガ部材は、歪取りブーツを受け入れるキャビティを有する、
請求項1に記載の光ファイバコネクタ。 - 前記ハウジングは、前記トリガ部材の前記少なくとも1つのスナップ部材と嵌合する少なくとも1つのラッチ開口部を有する、
請求項3に記載の光ファイバコネクタ。 - 前記フェルールホルダの前方端部周りに設けられたばね要素リテーナを更に有し、前記ばね要素は、ばね要素受座と前記ばね要素リテーナとの間に設けられ、前記フェルールホルダを所定のばね力で前方へ押圧する、
請求項1に記載の光ファイバコネクタ。 - 前記所定のばね力は、約1ポンド(約0.454kg)以上である、
請求項6に記載の光ファイバコネクタ。 - 前記フェルールホルダは、光ファイバスタブと現場ファイバの間のスプライスの品質の視覚表示を提供するビューポートを更に有する、

- 前記カム部材は、前記少なくとも1つの付勢部材を摺動自在に受け入れる逃げ部を有する、
請求項10に記載の光ファイバコネクタ。 - カム部材を更に有し、前記カム部材は、前記少なくとも1つのスナップ部材を摺動自在に受け入れる少なくとも1つの逃げ部を有する、
請求項3に記載の光ファイバコネクタ。 - 前記少なくとも1つの付勢部材は、前記ハウジングの接触部分に当接し、前記付勢部材の少なくとも一部と前記接触部分の少なくとも一部は、前記ハウジングの長手方向軸線に対して余角をなす、
請求項1に記載の光ファイバコネクタ。 - 前記余角は、各々90°である、
請求項14に記載の光ファイバコネクタ。 - 前記カム部材は、その外面に設けられていて、前記トリガ部材を前記カム部材に対して位置合わせするキー止め部分を有する、

光ファイバコネクタ。 - 前記トリガ部材は、前記ハウジングに設けられたラッチ開口部にそれぞれ嵌合する少なくとも1つのスナップ部材を有する、
請求項17に記載の光ファイバコネクタ。 - 前記フェルールホルダの周りに設けられたカム部材を更に有し、前記カム部材は、前記付勢部材を摺動自在に受け入れる逃げ部を有する、
請求項18に記載の光ファイバコネクタ。 - 前記カム部材は、前記少なくとも1つのスナップ部材を摺動自在に受け入れる少なくとも1つの逃げ部を有する、
請求項19に記載の光ファイバコネクタ。 - 前記トリガ部材は、前記フェルールホルダの周りに設けられ、前記フェルールホルダに対して長手方向に摺動する、
請求項17に記載の光ファイバコネクタ。 - 前記付勢部材の少なくとも一部と前記接触部分の少なくとも一部は、前記コネクタの長手方向軸線に対して実質的に余角をなす、
