Abstract

[PROBLEMS] To provide a molding mounting structure capable of securely mounting a molding and easily removing the molding.
An attachment portion 72 of a molding 70 enters a gap between a wall portion 44 and a wall portion 46 constituting a holding portion 42 of a holding piece 30 from an outer surface side of a front pillar main body 18, and locks into a rectangular hole 74. The mall 70 is mounted by 54 entering. Even in this state, if the abutting portion 78 in pressure contact with the wall portion 20 is elastically deformed, a gap between the mounting portion 72 and the wall portion 44 is easily opened on the outer surface side of the front pillar body 18. For this reason, by inserting the release tool 90 from the front side of the front pillar body 18 between the wall portion 44 and the mounting portion 72, the lock piece 54 can be elastically deformed and removed from the rectangular hole 74. The molding 70 can be removed.

Description

The present invention relates to a molding mounting structure for mounting a molding to a vehicle body.

In the mounting structure (mall structure) of the molding disclosed in the following Patent Document 1, the vertical wall portion extending from the inner end in the vehicle width direction of the side panel constituting the vehicle outer portion of the front pillar toward the vehicle interior side, A mounting retainer having a U-shaped cross section is fixed by a rivet. The fixing leg portion of the molding is inserted inside the mounting retainer, and is sandwiched between the support portion and the pressing portion of the mounting retainer, whereby the molding is attached.
Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 9-220929

By the way, in the structure disclosed by this patent document 1, the fixing | fixed leg part of a mole is clamped with the spring force of a U-shaped attachment retainer. For this reason, it is preferable that the spring force of the mounting retainer is sufficiently high from the viewpoint of preventing inadvertent dropping of the mounted mall and rattling in the mounted state. However, when the spring force of the mounting retainer is high, it becomes extremely difficult to remove the mounting retainer for maintenance or the like.

An object of the present invention is to obtain a molding mounting structure in which the molding can be securely mounted and the molding can be easily removed in consideration of the above facts.

A molding mounting structure according to a first aspect of the present invention is a molding mounting structure for mounting a molding to the vehicle body on the side of a vehicle body, and the vehicle body and the molding device with the molding mounted on the vehicle body. And is provided on the other of the vehicle body in a state of being urged toward one of the vehicle body and the molding within a gap formed on the surface side of the vehicle body. An engaging portion that is elastically deformable to any one of the other sides against the urging force by a pressing force from the surface side, and is provided on any one of the above, and the engaging portion engages The molding is connected to the vehicle body, and the engagement portion is elastically deformed to one of the other sides, so that the engagement with the engagement portion is released, and the connection between the molding and the vehicle body is canceled. And a connecting portion.

In the molding mounting structure according to the first aspect of the present invention, when the engaging portion is engaged with the connecting portion, the molding is connected to the vehicle body via the engaging portion and the connecting portion. Thereby, the molding is attached to the vehicle body.

On the other hand, in this molding mounting structure, a gap opened on the surface side of the vehicle body is formed between the molding and the vehicle body. The engaging portion is provided on the other of the vehicle body and the molding within the gap, and when the pressing force from the front surface side of the vehicle body is applied to the engaging portion, the engaging portion is either the vehicle body or the molding. It is elastically deformed against the urging force to one of the two, whereby the engagement with the connecting portion is released. In this manner, the connection between the molding and the vehicle body is canceled by releasing the engagement with the connecting portion, and the molding can be removed from the vehicle body.

Here, as described above, the engaging portion is provided on the other side of the vehicle body and the molding by a gap between the molding and the molding that is opened on the surface side of the vehicle body. The engaging portion can be pressed from the outside of the vehicle body. For this reason, the connection between the molding and the vehicle body can be easily eliminated, and the molding can be easily removed from the vehicle body.

The molding mounting structure according to a second aspect of the present invention is the molding mounting structure according to the first aspect of the present invention, wherein the engaging portion can be inserted, and the molding can be moved from the vehicle body with the engaging portion entering. When the engagement portion tries to move in the relative movement direction of the engagement portion with respect to the connection portion at the time of detachment, the inner peripheral portion interferes with the engagement portion, and the engagement portion relative to the connection portion An engaging hole for restricting general movement is formed in the connecting portion.

In the molding mounting structure according to the second aspect of the present invention, the engaging portion is connected to the connecting portion by the engaging portion entering the engaging hole formed in the connecting portion, and the engaging portion and the connecting portion are interposed therebetween. The mall is connected to the car body. Thereby, the molding is attached to the vehicle body.

On the other hand, when the engagement portion is about to move in the relative movement direction of the engagement portion with respect to the connection portion when the molding is removed from the vehicle body with the engagement portion entering the engagement hole of the connection portion in this way. The inner peripheral portion of the engagement hole interferes with the engagement portion and restricts this movement. Thereby, until the engaging part comes out of the engaging hole, the connection between the engaging part and the connecting part, and hence the connection of the molding to the vehicle body is maintained.

Here, in the molding mounting structure according to the present invention, the inner peripheral portion of the engagement hole interferes with the engagement portion, so that the connection between the engagement portion and the connection portion is maintained. Does not contribute directly to maintaining consolidation. That is, the urging force of the engaging portion only needs to contribute as a restoring force when the engaging portion enters the engaging hole, so even if the urging force of the engaging portion is not large, the engaging portion and the connecting portion Can be firmly maintained. Therefore, by setting the urging force of the engaging portion to be weak, it is possible to improve workability when mounting the molding on the vehicle body.

As described above, in the molding mounting structure according to the first aspect of the present invention, the connection between the molding and the vehicle body can be easily eliminated, and the molding can be easily removed from the vehicle body.

In the molding mounting structure according to the second aspect of the present invention, even if the biasing force of the engaging portion is set to be weak, the connection between the engaging portion and the connecting portion can be maintained firmly. It is possible to improve the workability when mounting the mall on the vehicle body by setting it weak.

<Configuration of First Embodiment>
FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing the appearance of the vehicle 12 to which the molding mounting structure according to the first embodiment of the present invention is applied. FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view taken along line 1-1 of FIG. It is shown. FIG. 5 is an exploded perspective view showing the configuration of the main part of the molding mounting structure according to the present embodiment.

As shown in FIG. 4, the vehicle 12 includes a windshield glass 14. Front pillars 16 constituting the vehicle body are provided on the sides of the windshield glass 14 along the left-right direction (vehicle width direction) of the vehicle 12. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 5, the front pillar 16 includes a front pillar body 18 whose outer surface faces the outside of the vehicle 12. A wall portion 20 is formed continuously from the end portion of the front pillar body 18 on the windshield glass 14 side toward the interior of the vehicle 12.

A glass support 22 is continuously formed from the end of the wall 20 opposite to the front pillar body 18 toward the back surface in the thickness direction of the windshield glass 14. The glass support portion 22 faces the windshield glass 14 along the thickness direction and the thickness direction of the windshield glass 14, and urethane provided on the glass support portion 22 in the vicinity of the outer peripheral portion of the windshield glass 14. The back surface of the windshield glass 14 near the outer periphery of the windshield glass 14 and the wall portion 20 are integrally fixed by an adhesive 24 such as a sealant.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 5, a holding piece 30 is provided on the wall 20 on the side of the windshield glass 14. In the present embodiment, the holding piece 30 is formed of a metal flat plate having elasticity that can be elastically deformed around an axis whose direction is orthogonal to the thickness direction. In the present embodiment, the holding piece 30 is formed of a metal flat plate, but the material of the holding piece 30 is not limited at all.

As shown in FIG. 6, the holding piece 30 includes a fixing portion 32. The fixing portion 32 is formed in a flat plate shape whose thickness direction is along the facing direction to the wall portion 20. A through hole 34 is formed in the approximate center of the fixing portion 32. As shown in FIG. 5, a through hole 36 is formed in the wall portion 20 corresponding to the through hole 34. A clip 38 is attached to the through holes 34 and 36 from the fixing portion 32 side. The clip 38 penetrates the through holes 34 and 36 in a state where the fixing portion 32 is disposed on the side of the wall portion 20, thereby fixing the fixing portion 32 (that is, the holding piece 30) to the wall portion 20.

Further, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the bent portion 40 is continuously formed from both ends of the fixing portion 32 in the direction along the outer peripheral portion of the windshield glass 14 (the direction of the arrow L in FIGS. 5 and 6). Is formed. The bent portion 40 is bent around an axis whose axial direction is the inside / outside direction (the arrow W direction in FIGS. 5 and 6) of the vehicle 12 at the attachment portion of the holding piece 30 around the boundary portion with the fixed portion 32. For this reason, the end of the bent portion 40 on the side opposite to the fixed portion 32 is farther from the wall portion 20 than the end of the bent portion 40 on the fixed portion 32 side.

In addition, holding portions 42 are provided on both sides of the fixing portion 32 oriented along the outer peripheral portion of the windshield glass 14. The holding portion 42 includes a pair of wall portions 44 and 46. The wall portions 44 and 46 are opposed to each other with a predetermined distance in the thickness direction of the fixed portion 32. Further, the wall portions 44 and 46 are connected to the inner side of the vehicle 12 in the attachment portion of the holding piece 30 by the bottom portion 48. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 1, the holding portion 42 has a substantially U-shape that opens toward the outside in the vehicle 12 in the direction in which the holding piece 30 is attached in the side view (upward in FIG. 1). Has been.

Further, as shown in FIG. 6, the wall portion 44 constituting the holding portion 42 is formed continuously from the end portion of the bent portion 40 on the side opposite to the fixing portion 32. Even if the fixing portion 32 is fixed to the wall portion 20 by the clip 38 in a state where the wall portion 20 is in contact with each other, the wall portion 44 is separated from the wall portion 20 along its thickness direction as shown in FIG. is doing. Thus, the clearance formed between the wall 20 and the wall 44 in a state where the fixing portion 32 is fixed to the wall 20 is used as a retreat space 50.

As shown in FIG. 6, the holding portion 42 has an opening 52. The opening 52 is formed at least in the wall portion 44 and penetrates the holding portion 42 in the thickness direction. A lock piece 54 as an engaging portion is formed from the upper end portion of the opening 52 in the portion formed in the wall portion 44 of the opening portion 52 (the end portion of the opening portion 52 on the side opposite to the bottom portion 48 in the wall portion 44). It has been extended. The lock piece 54 is formed in a plate shape in which the thickness direction of the main body portion is inclined inward and outward of the vehicle 12 with respect to the opposing direction of the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46, and the wall which is the base end portion thereof The direction (in the direction of arrow L in FIG. 6) along the outer peripheral portion of the windshield glass 14 at the portion where the holding piece 30 is attached at the boundary portion with the portion 44 (that is, the upper end portion of the opening 52) is the axial direction. It can be elastically deformed so as to rotate around the axis.

In addition, the lock piece 54 is positioned on the side of the bottom portion 48 and on the side of the wall portion 46 more than the base end side, and one surface in the thickness direction is opposite to the bottom portion 48 with respect to the wall portion 46 side ( That is, it faces the opening direction side of the holding portion 42 and faces the outside of the vehicle 12 in the attachment portion of the holding piece 30. For this reason, the lock piece 54 is caused to separate the distal end side from the wall portion 46 around the base end portion by the pressing force applied to one surface in the thickness direction of the lock piece 54 from the opening side of the holding portion 42. Rotate (elastically deformed).

Further, a restricting portion 56 is continuously formed from the end portion of the wall portion 44 on the outer side in the inner and outer direction of the vehicle 12 at the attachment portion of the holding piece 30. The restricting portion 56 is formed so as to be bent from the end of the wall portion 44 toward the wall portion 20 side. For example, the holding portion 42 is centered on the boundary portion between the wall portion 44 and the bent portion 40. In the case of turning to the side, the restricting portion 56 abuts against the wall portion 20 to restrict the rotation of the holding portion 42 until the wall portion 44 abuts against the wall portion 20. Is secured.

On the other hand, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 5, a molding 70 formed by bending or bending a metal flat plate such as a stainless steel plate is provided on the windshield glass 14 side of the front pillar body 18. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 7, the molding 70 includes an attachment portion 72 as a connecting portion. The attachment portion 72 is formed in a flat plate shape whose longitudinal direction is along the direction along the outer peripheral portion of the windshield glass 14 (the direction of the arrow L in FIG. 5).

As shown in FIG. 1, the thickness direction of the attachment portion 72 is along the opposing direction of the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46, and the thickness dimension is set to be equal to or less than the interval between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46. ing. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 7, a rectangular rectangular hole 74 as an engagement hole is formed in a predetermined portion of the intermediate portion in the longitudinal direction of the attachment portion 72. These rectangular holes 74 are formed so as to correspond to the lock pieces 54 described above, and by inserting the attachment portion 72 between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46, the opposing direction of the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46. When the rectangular hole 74 and the lock piece 54 face each other, the lock piece 54 enters the rectangular hole 74.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 7, the rectangular hole 74 has a width direction front end side (that is, the bottom portion 48 side in a state where the attachment portion 72 is inserted between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46). A contact portion 76 formed of a synthetic resin material is provided integrally with the attachment portion 72. As shown in FIG. 1, the thickness dimension of the abutting portion 76 along the opposing direction of the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46 is smaller than that of the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46, and the thickness of the mounting portion 72. Thicker than the dimensions.

In addition, one surface in the thickness direction of the contact portion 76 is located on the wall 44 side with respect to one surface in the thickness direction of the mounting portion 72, and the other surface in the thickness direction of the contact portion 76 is The mounting portion 72 is located on the wall 46 side of the other surface in the thickness direction. Therefore, in the state where the attachment portion 72 is inserted between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46 and the contact portion 76 is in contact with both the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46, the thickness direction of the attachment portion 72 One surface is located closer to the wall 46 than the wall 44, and the other surface in the thickness direction of the attachment 72 is located closer to the wall 44 than the wall 46 (that is, the attachment 72 is a wall). (It is located in the middle between the portion 44 and the wall portion 46, and does not contact any of the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46).

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 7, one surface in the thickness direction on the other end in the width direction of the attachment portion 72 (that is, the attachment portion 72 is inserted between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46. A contact portion 78 is integrally provided with respect to the attachment portion 72 on the wall 20 side surface in the above state. The contact portion 78 is formed in a tube shape whose longitudinal direction is along the longitudinal direction of the attachment portion 72, and the attachment portion 78 is inserted between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46. Is configured to be pressed against the wall portion 20.

Further, the other surface in the thickness direction on the other end side in the width direction of the mounting portion 72 (that is, the side opposite to the wall portion 20 in a state where the mounting portion 72 is inserted between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46). The contact portion 80 is integrally provided with respect to the mounting portion 72 on the surface. The contact portion 80 is formed in a long shape with a trapezoidal cross section along the longitudinal direction of the attachment portion 72, and the attachment portion 72 is inserted between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46. The contact portion 80 is configured to be in pressure contact with the wall portion 46.

A molding body 82 is continuously formed from the width direction base end of the mounting portion 72 toward the side opposite to the wall portion 20. The molding body 82 is formed in a plate shape whose longitudinal direction is along the longitudinal direction of the mounting portion 72 and whose thickness direction is generally along the width direction of the mounting portion 72. Here, since the molding main body 82 is formed from the width direction base end portion of the mounting portion 72 toward the opposite side to the wall portion 20, the gap between the mounting portion 72 and the wall portion 44 is the molding main body. If the contact portion 78 that is not closed by the portion 82 and is in pressure contact with the wall portion 20 is elastically deformed, a gap between the mounting portion 72 and the wall portion 44 is formed on the outer surface side of the front pillar body 18. It can be easily opened.

Further, a lip portion 84 is formed on one surface in the thickness direction of the molding main body portion 82. The lip portion 84 is formed in the shape of a tongue from a rubber material or a synthetic resin material having the same degree of elasticity as a rubber material, and the lip portion is in a state where the attachment portion 72 is inserted between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46. 84 is configured to be in pressure contact with the surface of the windshield glass 14 in the vicinity of the outer peripheral portion of the windshield glass 14.

<Operation and Effect of First Embodiment>
Next, the operation and effect of the present embodiment will be described.

When the molding 70 is mounted on the vehicle 12, as shown in FIG. 2, the mounting portion 72 of the molding 70 is placed between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46 of the holding piece 30 fixed to the wall portion 20. It enters from the outer surface side of the pillar body 18. When the attachment portion 72 enters between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46, the distal end portion of the contact portion 76 presses the lock piece 54. The lock piece 54 pressed by the contact portion 76 is rotated around an axis whose axial direction is the direction along the outer peripheral portion of the windshield glass 14 at the portion where the holding piece 30 is attached (the direction of arrow L in FIG. 5). By elastically deforming so as to move, at least a part of the lock piece 54 is temporarily retracted into the retreat space 50.

When the tip of the abutting portion 76 that presses the locking piece 54 comes closest to the bottom 48 and the molding 70 reaches a predetermined mounting position on the vehicle 12, the rectangular hole 74 and the locking piece 54 face each other. Thus, as shown in FIG. 1, the lock piece 54 is restored by its own elasticity and enters the rectangular hole 74. In this state, when the attachment portion 72 is pulled out from between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46, the lock piece 54 interferes with the inner peripheral portion of the rectangular hole 74 and is pulled out from between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46. Movement of the attachment portion 72 (that is, the molding 70) in the direction is restricted.

Moreover, since the rectangular hole 74 has a rectangular shape, the edge portion of the rectangular hole 74 on one end side in the thickness direction of the mounting portion 72 (the wall portion 44 side) is in contact with the lock piece 54, so that the wall portion 44. The load that resists the pulling out of the mounting portion 72 from between the wall portion 46 and the wall portion 46 is large, whereby the pulling out of the mounting portion 72 from between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46 can be effectively restricted.

In addition, when the molding 70 is mounted, the force required to push the mounting portion 72 between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46 only needs to be sufficient to resist the elasticity of the lock piece 54. Easy to install.

Further, in this state, the contact portion 76 is in contact with the wall portion 46 in the vicinity of the bottom portion 48. Further, in this state, the contact portion 78 is in pressure contact with the wall portion 20, and the contact portion 80 is in contact with the wall portion 46 on the side opposite to the bottom portion 48. As a result, the displacement (backlash) of the mounting portion 72 along the opposing direction of the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46, and consequently the displacement (backlash) of the molding 70 along the opposing direction of the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46, is achieved. Be regulated.

On the other hand, in the present embodiment, as described above, if the contact portion 78 that is in pressure contact with the wall portion 20 is elastically deformed, the attachment portion 72 and the wall portion 44 are formed on the outer surface side of the front pillar body 18. A gap between them can be easily opened. Therefore, when the molding 70 is removed for maintenance or the like, as shown in FIG. 3, the release tool 90 having a plate-like portion that gradually becomes thin toward the tip side, such as a flathead screwdriver, is provided in the front pillar body 18. It is inserted between the wall part 44 and the attachment part 72 from the surface side. As described above, when the release tool 90 is inserted between the wall portion 44 and the attachment portion 72, the tip of the release tool 90 presses the lock piece 54. The lock piece 54 is around an axis whose axial direction is the direction along the outer peripheral portion of the windshield glass 14 in the portion to which the holding piece 30 is attached by the pressing force applied from the release tool 90 (the direction of the arrow L in FIG. 5). Elastically deforms so as to rotate.

As the lock piece 54 is elastically deformed in this way, the lock piece 54 comes out of the rectangular hole 74. When the molding 70 is pulled to the front side of the front pillar body 18 in a state where the lock piece 54 is pulled out from the rectangular hole 74, the mounting portion 72 is pulled out from between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46, and thereby the molding 70. Is removed. Thus, in the present embodiment, the molding 70 can be easily removed without breaking the molding 70 or the holding piece 30 or deforming the molding 70 so that it cannot be restored. For this reason, after the maintenance is completed, the same molding 70 can be mounted again.

<Configuration of Second Embodiment>
Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described. In the description of the present embodiment, the same reference numerals are given to the same parts as those in the first embodiment, and the detailed description thereof is omitted.

FIG. 8 shows the configuration of the molding mounting structure according to the present embodiment. 8 and 10 are cross-sectional views taken along line AA in FIG. 11, and FIG. 8 and FIG. 10B are lines BB in FIG. FIG. 11 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line (in FIG. 11, illustration of the molding 70 and the windshield glass 14 is omitted).

As shown in FIG. 8A, in the molding mounting structure according to the present embodiment, the holding piece 30 is not provided on the wall portion 20, and instead, a holding piece 112 as a connecting portion is provided. . The holding piece 112 does not include the fixing portion 32, and basically includes a wall portion 44, a wall portion 46, and a bottom portion 48, and the wall portion 44 is fixed to the wall portion 20 by a fixing means such as an adhesive. As a result, the holding piece 112 is integrally attached to the wall portion 20.

Further, as shown in FIG. 8A, an interference part 114 is formed at the end of the wall part 44 opposite to the bottom part 48. The interference portion 114 extends from the end portion of the wall portion 44 opposite to the bottom portion 48 toward the wall portion 46 side. The interference portion 114 is basically elongated along the longitudinal direction of the wall portion 44. However, as shown in FIGS. 11 and 8B, the interference portion 114 is notched at one or more locations in the middle portion in the longitudinal direction. The portion 116 is formed, and the interference portion 114 is not substantially formed on the wall portion 44 at the portion where the notch portion 116 is formed.

On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 8A, in the present embodiment, the mounting portion 72 is not formed on the molding 70, and instead, the mounting portion 118 is formed. The attachment portion 118 includes an attachment portion main body 120. The attachment portion main body 120 is formed in a flat plate shape that is elongated along the longitudinal direction of the wall portion 44, and is connected to the molding main body portion 82 at the other end in the width direction in the same manner as the attachment portion 72. On the other hand, an engagement piece 122 as an engagement portion is formed continuously from one end portion in the width direction of the attachment portion main body 120 (the end portion on the bottom portion 48 side).

The engagement piece 122 has a flat plate shape inclined with respect to the attachment portion main body 120 so that the distal end portion is located on the wall portion 44 side with respect to the base end portion that is a connection portion with the attachment portion main body 120. The tip end portion can be deformed so as to rotate in a direction in which the tip end portion comes into contact with or separates from the attachment portion main body 120 around an axis with the base end portion as an axis. As shown in FIG. 9, in the state where no external force is applied to the engaging piece 122, the mounting portion main body 120 on the side opposite to the engaging piece 122 along the thickness direction of the mounting portion main body 120. The engagement piece 122 is formed so that the distance from the surface to the tip of the engagement piece 122 is sufficiently longer than the distance between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46.

In addition, the attachment portion main body 120 is provided with a contact portion 78, and the contact portion 78 is in pressure contact with the interference portion 114 and the notch portion 116, whereby the holding piece 112 on the outer surface side of the front pillar main body 18. Open end (that is, the front pillar main body 18 side of the gap between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46) is closed, but by elastically deforming the contact portion 78, the opening end of the holding piece 112 is It can be easily opened.

<Operation and Effect of Second Embodiment>
In the present embodiment configured as described above, when the molding 70 is mounted on the vehicle 12, as shown in FIG. 9, between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46 of the holding piece 112 fixed to the wall portion 20. Further, the mounting portion 118 of the molding 70 is inserted from the outer surface side of the front pillar body 18. When the mounting portion 118 enters between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46, the engagement piece 122 is pressed against the distal end portion of the interference portion 114, so that the engagement piece 122 is an axis having the base end portion as an axis. The tip is elastically deformed so that the front end approaches the attachment portion main body 120.

As shown in FIGS. 8A and 8B, when the base end portion of the engagement piece 122 comes closest to the bottom portion 48 and the molding 70 reaches a predetermined mounting position on the vehicle 12, the engagement piece The application of the pressing force from the interference unit 114 to the 122 is canceled, and the engagement piece 122 tries to recover by its own elasticity. However, as described above, the surface opposite to the engagement piece 122 of the attachment portion main body 120 along the thickness direction of the attachment portion main body 120 in a state where no external force is applied to the engagement piece 122. The distance from the engagement portion 122 to the tip of the engagement piece 122 is sufficiently larger than the distance between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46. For this reason, in a state where the attachment portion 118 enters between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46, the engagement piece 122 cannot be restored to the original shape, and presses the wall portion 44 with an elastic force.

Furthermore, the attachment portion main body 120 is pressed against the wall portion 46 by a reaction force when the engagement piece 122 presses the wall portion 44. This restricts the molding 70 from being displaced in the opposing direction of the wall 44 and the wall 46. Further, in this state, since the interference portion 114 and the tip of the engagement piece 122 face each other along the opening direction of the holding piece 112, to the opposite side (that is, the opening side of the holding piece 112). When trying to move the molding 70, the interference part 114 comes into contact with the tip of the engagement piece 122, and thereby the movement of the molding 70 to the side opposite to the bottom 48 is restricted.

As described above, since the interference portion 114 and the engagement piece 122 are opposed to each other, the movement of the molding 70 to the side opposite to the bottom portion 48 is restricted. However, as described above, the length of the interference portion 114 is long. A cutout portion 116 is formed in the middle portion in the direction, and the interference portion 114 is not substantially formed in the wall portion 44 in the portion where the cutout portion 116 is formed. Accordingly, as shown in FIG. 10 (B), the release tool having a plate-like portion that gradually becomes thinner from the notch portion 116 toward the front end side such as a minus driver without being interfered by the interference portion 114. 90 can be inserted between the wall 44 and the engagement piece 122.

For this reason, when the molding 70 is removed for maintenance or the like, when the release tool 90 is inserted between the wall portion 44 and the engagement piece 122 from the cutout portion 116, the contact portion 78 is first elastically deformed. The opening end of the holding piece 112 (that is, the front pillar main body 18 side of the gap between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46) is opened, and further enters the gap between the wall portion 44 and the engagement piece 122. The release tool 90 elastically deforms the engagement piece 122 so that the distal end portion approaches the attachment portion main body 120 about an axis having the base end portion as an axis. As a result, as shown in FIG. 10A, the attachment portion main body 120 is elastically deformed and the interference portion 114 and the engagement piece along the opening direction of the holding piece 112 even in a portion where the notch portion 116 is not formed. The state of facing the front end of 122 is canceled (that is, the engagement between the engaging portion and the connecting portion is canceled).

In this state, by pulling the molding 70 toward the opening direction side of the holding piece 112, the attachment portion 118 is inserted between the wall portion 44 and the wall portion 46 without the interference portion 114 interfering with the distal end portion of the engagement piece 122. The mall 70 can be removed from the vehicle 12. Thus, in the present embodiment, the molding 70 can be easily removed without breaking the molding 70 or the holding piece 112 or deforming the molding 70 so that it cannot be restored. For this reason, after the maintenance is completed, the same molding 70 can be mounted again.
