Abstract
【解決手段】芳香族ビニル−共役ジエン共重合体ゴム50〜100重量%を含むジエン系ゴム50〜95重量部及びトルエン膨潤指数Qiが16〜70である共役ジエン系ゴムゲル5〜50重量部からなるゴム成分100重量部並びに軟化点が100〜150℃の芳香族ビニルとジペンテン及び/又はピネンとの共重合体樹脂を、合計ゴム成分100重量部当り、3〜40重量部含んでなるタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物並びにそれを用いた高性能タイヤ。

Description
サンプルの調製
表Iに示す配合において、硫黄と加硫促進剤を除くその他の配合剤を16Lのバンバリーミキサーにて約5分間混合した。ローターの回転数を変量して、放出時の温度が150℃になるように調節した。得られたマスターバッチを再度、16Lのバンバリーミキサーにて約3分間混合した。次に得られたマスターバッチを8×16インチロールに巻きつけて後硫黄と加硫促進剤を添加して約3分間混合した。
上で得た未加硫ゴムを用いて、常法に従ってサイズ225/45R17のタイヤを試作し、操縦安定性試験に供した。即ち、試作タイヤを排気量2500ccの車に装着し、1周2.5kmのトラックを蛇行しながら10周し、走行初期と末期のグリップ力を評価した。
3点を基準とし、3.5:わずかに感知できる程度良い、4:十分感知できる程度良い、4.5:明らかに感知できる程度良いとし、そして2.5:わずかに感知できる程度劣るとして採点した。結果は表Iに示す。

Claims (4)
- 芳香族ビニル−共役ジエン共重合体ゴム50〜100重量%を含むジエン系ゴム50〜95重量部及びトルエン膨潤指数Qiが16〜70である共役ジエン系ゴムゲル5〜50重量部からなるゴム成分100重量部並びに軟化点が100〜150℃の芳香族ビニルとジペンテン及び/又はピネンとの共重合体樹脂を、合計ゴム成分100重量部当り、3〜40重量部含んでなるタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物。
- 前記ジエン系ゴムの平均ガラス転移温度Tgが−45℃〜0℃であり、窒素吸着比表面積(N2SA)が80〜400m2/gのカーボン及び/又はシリカ50〜200重量部を配合した請求項1に記載のタイヤトレッドゴム組成物。
- 共役ジエン系ゴムゲルが、共役ジエン単量体単位49.9〜99.9重量%、芳香族ビニル単量体単位50〜0重量%及び多官能性単量体単位0.1〜1.5重量%から構成される請求項1又は2に記載のタイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のゴム組成物をトレッド部に用いた高性能タイヤ。
