【解決手段】多層光記録媒体10は、レーザー光の入射面22から最も離れた側から順次、L0層12、L1層14、L2層16、L3層18及び追記型記録膜を有するL4層20、の記録層を有する5層構造であって、少なくともL0層12は相変化記録膜を有する。

Claims (11)
- レーザー光の入射面から最も遠い側から、前記レーザー光の入射面に最も近い側に向かって、L0層、・・・、Ln−2層、及び、追記型記録膜を有するLn−1層、の3層以上の記録層を有し、それぞれの記録層にレーザー光が照射され、記録マークが形成されることにより情報が記録される多層光記録媒体であって、
少なくとも前記L0層は相変化記録膜を有することを特徴とする多層光記録媒体。 - 請求項1において、
前記L0層が、使用する記録線速度において、情報の書き換えが可能であることを特徴とする多層光記録媒体。 - 請求項1において、
前記L0層が、使用する記録線速度において、情報の書き換えが不可能な追記型記録層であることを特徴とする多層記録媒体。 - 請求項1において、
使用する記録線速度において、前記L0層に記録された情報の書き換えが不可能であるように、前記L0層の有する相変化記録膜の材料の組成を調整したことを特徴とする多層光記録媒体。 - 請求項1において、
使用する記録線速度において、前記L0層に記録された情報の書き換えが不可能であるように、前記L0層の構成を調整したことを特徴とする多層光記録媒体。 - 請求項1乃至5のいずれかにおいて、
前記L1層、・・・、Ln−2層が追記型記録膜を有することを特徴とする多層光記録媒体。 - 請求項1乃至6のいずれかにおいて、
前記Ln−1層における記録膜の、前記レーザー光の波長における消衰係数が0.5以下であることを特徴とする多層光記録媒体。 - レーザー光の入射面から最も遠い側から、前記レーザー光の入射面に最も近い側に向かって、L0層、・・・、Ln−2層、及び、追記型記録膜を有するLn−1層、の3層以上の記録層を有し、少なくとも前記L0層は相変化記録膜を有してなり、それぞれの記録層にレーザー光が照射され、記録マークが形成されることにより情報が記録される多層光記録媒体への情報記録方法であって、
記録マークが形成された前記L0層に再度記録を行う場合に、消去パワーのレーザー光を照射して、前記記録マークを消去、あるいは減衰させてから、新たに記録マークを形成することを特徴とする多層光記録媒体への情報記録方法。 - レーザー光の入射面から最も遠い側から、前記レーザー光の入射面に最も近い側に向かって、L0層、・・・、Ln−2層、及び、追記型記録膜を有するLn−1層、の3層以上の記録層を有し、少なくとも前記L0層は相変化記録膜を有してなり、それぞれの記録層にレーザー光が照射され、記録マークが形成されることにより情報が記録される多層光記録媒体への情報記録方法であって、
記録マークが形成された前記L0層に再度記録を行う場合に、前記記録マークの消去と、新たに記録マークを形成することを同時に行うことを特徴とする多層光記録媒体への情報記録方法。 - レーザー光の入射面から最も遠い側から、前記レーザー光の入射面に最も近い側に向かって、L0層、・・・、Ln−2層、及び、追記型記録膜を有するLn−1層、の3層以上の記録層を有し、少なくとも前記L0層は相変化記録膜を有してなり、それぞれの記録層にレーザー光が照射され、記録マークが形成されることにより情報が記録される多層光記録媒体への情報記録方法であって、
前記L0層に記録を行う際に、前記L0層に書き換えが不可能な記録マークを形成するように、使用する記録線速度を前記L0層以外の記録層に記録を行う際の記録線速度と異なるようにすることを特徴とする多層光記録媒体への情報記録方法。 - レーザー光の入射面から最も遠い側から、前記レーザー光の入射面に最も近い側に向かって、L0層、・・・、Ln−2層、及び、追記型記録膜を有するLn−1層、の3層以上の記録層を有し、少なくとも前記L0層は相変化記録膜を有してなり、それぞれの記録層にレーザー光が照射され、記録マークが形成されることにより情報が記録される多層光記録媒体への情報記録方法であって、
前記L0層に記録を行う際に、前記L0層に書き換えが可能な記録マークを形成するように、使用する記録線速度を前記L0層以外の記録層に記録を行う際の記録線速度と異なるようにすることを特徴とする多層光記録媒体への情報記録方法。
