Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of conventional chip saws that the amount of paper dust produced is so large as to make removal of dust adhered to products difficult and the problem of conventional chip saws for cutting of corrugated cardboards that, though the amount of paper dust produced can be reduced, re-grinding is difficult.
SOLUTION: The tip part 6 of the chip 5 of the chip saw is formed into an acute angle shape. A fitting groove 9 of the chip 5 can be fitted in the saw blade, and the chip 5 is removed, mounted on a grinding tool and fitted again in the chip saw for service.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT

Description

The present invention relates to a chip saw for cutting paper, cardboard, and the like.

When paper or cardboard is cut with a general wood cutting tip saw, there is a problem that a large amount of paper dust is generated and adhered to the product.

On the other hand, as shown in Patent Document 1, the paper-only saw reduces the generation of paper dust by making the tooth surface an acute angle, but it is very difficult to re-grind the saw blade, which is costly and time consuming. There were drawbacks. As shown in the following document 1, it is already known.
Japanese Patent No. 3145657

The problem to be solved is that it is difficult to regrind the saw.

The most important feature of the present invention is that a tip with a sharp tooth surface is detachable in the tip saw.

The tip saw of the present invention has an advantage that the tip can be manufactured into a finished shape and mounted after polishing, and the tip can be removed and re-polished after use.

The mounting portion is machined by grinding the endless saw blade. On the other hand, chips with high hardness and toughness are produced by injection-molding, sintering, and heat-treating powder high-speed steel with an acute angle tooth surface and a mating groove on the opposite surface. Thereafter, the chip is mounted on a polishing jig and the tooth surface is polished at an acute angle. The chip is removed from the polishing jig and the fitting groove of the chip is inserted and fitted into the attachment portion of the saw tooth.

FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the present invention in which a chip 5 is inserted and fitted into a band saw.

The saw blades 3 having a 25 mm interval are punched out by pressing into a 0.6 mm thick saw plate 2 shown in FIG. 2, and the mounting portion 8 is processed by grinding.

The tip 5 shown in FIG. 3 has a length of 5 mm, a width of 4 mm, a thickness of 1 mm, and the width of the fitting groove 9 is slightly narrower than the thickness of the saw blade 2, the tooth surface 7 is an acute angle, and the tooth tip 6 is 60. The shape is formed by metal powder injection molding using powdered high speed steel as a raw material so that the temperature becomes high. Thereafter, the chip 5 is sintered, quenched and tempered to have hardness and toughness suitable for corrugated cardboard cutting. The shape is appropriately set according to cutting conditions.

As shown in FIG. 5, the chip 5 is mounted on a polishing jig 13, both surfaces of the tooth surface 7 are polished with a polishing grindstone 14, the tooth tip 6 is sharpened, and is removed from the polishing jig 13.

When the insert groove 8 of the tip 5 is inserted into the mounting portion 8 obtained by processing the tip 5 into the saw blade 3 of the saw plate 2 and further inserted using a dedicated insertion tool, the lower portion 12 of the tip is fitted into the engaging portion 11. The sawtooth 3 is sandwiched and fixed by the joining piece 10 of 5.

As shown in FIG. 4, if the protrusion 4 is formed inside the joining piece 10 of the chip 5, the saw blade 3 can be sandwiched more strongly.

When the chip saw 1 is used, the chip 5 is removed from the saw plate 2 by applying a force opposite to that for pushing into the lower part 12 of the chip. The removed chip 5 is mounted on a polishing jig 13, and both surfaces of the tooth surface 7 are re-polished with a polishing grindstone 14, and then reattached to the saw plate 2 for use.

Circular saw chips can only cut corrugated cardboard with a thickness less than half of its diameter due to its functional conditions. Little paper dust is generated. Moreover, re-grinding is easy and inexpensive, and the tip saw can be reused if the tip is replaced.
