Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a storage apparatus capable of storing a disc efficiently and capable of extending easily. <P>SOLUTION: This invention concerns to the storage apparatus which is adapted to hang and lower a plurality of disc holders each having two opposite hook members. This storage apparatus has a casing. This casing has two side walls which extend sideways upward from two opposite end sections in the bottom wall, respectively, an upper wall which is inter-connected to the upper end section of this side-wall and a set of rails at least in the horizontal direction which projects inward from the inside surface of the side-wall, respectively. One drawer at least is disposed in the casing and is slidable along the rails. This drawer has a drawer frame having two opposite side plates, two slides are given on the outside surface of the side plate, respectively, so as to engage the rails slidably, respectively. Description

  The present invention relates to a storage device, and more particularly to a storage device for a disk.

  Referring to FIG. 1, a conventional storage device 1 for a compact disk has a casing 11 having two side walls 14 spaced apart and a partition wall 12 between the side walls 14. The partition wall 12 is provided with a plurality of rails 13 that are vertically spaced on two opposing surfaces. The side walls 14 are each provided with a plurality of vertically spaced rails 13 'that are horizontally aligned with the rails 13 on the two opposing faces of the bulkhead 12, respectively. Each two adjacent rails of the rails 13 'on each side wall 14 cooperate with two adjacent rails aligned among the rails 13 on the corresponding surface of the bulkhead 12 to define a receiving space. . In order to store the disc in the storage device 1, the disc is first placed in a plastic case, which is then inserted into one of the receiving spaces.   FIG. 2 shows another conventional storage device 2 for a compact disk. The storage device 2 includes a storage case 21 and a plurality of disk holders 22 stacked in the storage case 21. The storage device 2 can occupy less space than the storage device 1 in FIG. 1, but when the amount of the disk is substantially large, the structure of the storage device 2 allows the user to insert a desired compact disk.   According to the invention, the storage device is adapted to hang a plurality of disc holders each having two opposing hook members. The storage device has a casing and at least one drawer. The casing includes a bottom wall, two side walls extending upward from two opposite side edges of the bottom wall, an upper wall interconnecting to the upper end of the side wall, and inward from the inner surface of the side wall. Each having at least one set of horizontal rails projecting from each other. The drawer is arranged in the casing and is slidable along the rail. The drawer has a drawer frame having two opposing side plates and two slides each provided on the outer surface of the drawer frame side plates to slidably engage the rails.   Referring to FIGS. 3 to 5, the storage device 4 according to the first preferred embodiment of the present invention has a pocket 31 so as to receive the disk 8 and outward from the opposite upper side of the pocket 31, respectively. A plurality of disc holders 3 having two protruding hook members 32 are adapted to hang down. The storage device 4 includes a casing 5 and a plurality of drawers 6.
