車室(1)の天井(4)に取付けられるとともに内部にファン(11)が収容され、吸込み口(15b)から吸入した空気を清浄して、当該清浄された空気を当該ファン(11)によって吹出し口(15a)から車室(1)内部に吹き出す車両用空気清浄機において、
前記ファン(11)の下方に、多孔質材料により形成され、揮発物質が含浸される多孔質グリル(12)を設けて、前記吹出し口(15a)を、前記車室(1)内の乗員(2)の顔(2a)に向けて下向きに開口させるとともに、
前記多孔質グリル(12)の周辺に、前記吸込み口(15b)を介して前記車室(1)内の空気を吸入する空気吸入路(14)を上下方向に設けたことを特徴とする車両用空気清浄機。
