Abstract
Description
本出願は、2004年3月1日出願の米国仮出願第60/549,041号の利益を主張する。前記出願の全体を本明細書中に援用する。
以下の実施例は、本発明を単に例示することを意図するものであり、発明者らが発明者ら自身の発明としてみなす範囲を限定することは意図していない。
ECGトリガレトロスペクティブカラーフローイメージングを用いたインビボ頚動脈イメージング
掃引走査データ取得において、Vevo660超音波生体顕微鏡(UBM)システム802(図8)(Visualsonics、Toronto、ON、カナダ)が、超音波データの送受信に使用された。このシステムは、マスタ発振器804によって生成されたCW信号を内部でゲーティングし、増幅することで、7サイクルのパルスを発生するように設定された。
ファントムを用いるインビトロECGトリガレトロスペクティブカラーフローイメージング
掃引走査(swept−scan)カラーフローイメージングと、ECGトリガレトロスペクティブカラーフローイメージングとの双方が、5Hzの正弦波的に変動する速度プロファイルを有するファントムを用いて比較された。ファントムは、ディスクを回転するごとに、ECGのようなパルスを発生する光学センサ付きの偏心回転ディスクを備える。
Claims (20)
- 超音波を生成することと、
該超音波を第一の位置にいる被験体に超音波を送信することであって、該被験体から得られたECG信号の第一の基準点が超音波送信をトリガする、ことと、
該第一の位置にいる該被験体から反射される超音波を受信することと、
該超音波を第二の位置にいる被験体に超音波を送信することであって、該被験体から得られたECG信号の第二の基準点が超音波送信をトリガする、ことと、
該第二の位置にいる該被験体から反射される超音波を受信することと、
超音波カラートレースを形成するために、該受信した超音波を処理することと、
該超音波画像を形成するために、該超音波カラートレースを再構築することと
を包含する、超音波画像を生成する方法。 - 約20MHz〜60MHzの周波数の超音波を生成することをさらに包含する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 血流を描写するために、前記超音波を小動物に使用することをさらに包含する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記小動物がマウスである、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 血流速度評価を生成するために、前記超音波を小動物に使用することをさらに包含する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記小動物がマウスである、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記超音波画像を、レトロスペクティブBスキャン超音波画像と重ね合わせることをさらに包含する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記超音波は、単一エレメントの機械的走査トランスデューサによって生成される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記超音波は、電気的に操縦可能なアレイトランスデューサによって生成される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 複数のカラーフロートレースを生成することをさらに包含し、
各カラーフロートレースは、特定の位置で取得され、ECG信号の基準点によってトリガされた超音波データから生成される、請求項1に記載の方法。 - フレームを形成するために、前記複数のカラーフロートレースをアセンブリすることをさらに包含する、請求項10に記載の方法。
- シネループを形成するために、複数のフレームを連続して表示することをさらに包含する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 超音波画像を開発するためのシステムであって、
超音波エネルギを送受信可能なトランスデューサを有する超音波プローブと、
ECGトリガレトロスペクティブカラーフロー超音波画像を生成するプロセッサと
を備える、システム。 - 前記超音波は、約20MHz〜60MHzの周波数範囲で発生する、請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 前記超音波は、小動物の血流を描写するために実行される、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記小動物がマウスである、請求項15に記載のシステム。
- 被検体の生体構造の位置で、複数の超音波パルスを送信するように構成された送信サブシステムをさらに備え、
該複数の超音波パルスは、ECG信号の基準点によってトリガされたとき、該位置に送信される、請求項13に記載のシステム。 - 前記ECG信号上の基準点によってトリガされたとき、前記複数の超音波パルスが、被検体の生体構造上の第一の位置に送信され、
前記ECG信号上の基準点によってトリガされたとき、第二の複数の超音波パルスが、被検体の生体構造上の第二の位置に送信される、請求項17に記載のシステム。 - ソフトウェアをさらに備え、
超音波データは、被検体の生体構造上の位置から、該ソフトウェアへ入力され、対応するカラーフロートレースは、該ソフトウェアによって出力される、請求項13に記載のシステム。 - 第二のソフトウェアをさらに備え、
前記カラーフロートレースは、被検体の領域またはポーションにわたる血流の表現を形成する該第二のソフトウェアによって処理される、請求項13に記載のシステム。
